"Easter Weekend"
Staff was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was warm, the hot tub was hot. Both Friday & Saturday I seen someone cleaning the hot tub. That was a good feeling! The free breakfast was okay. It had every thing you wanted. It is close to shopping and some great restaurants. I would stay there again.
We were pleased with our stay at the Wyngate by Wyndham Erie. It is a very short drive to alot of stores, restaurants and gas stations, and offers a very good continental breakfast - the waffles and sausage gravy are the best! The mattresses could be alot softer, but the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I definately recommend a stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I liked the convenience of the fridge and microwave. I was also impressed with the security safe. I especially felt spoiled by the great breakfast selection. I'll be back!

I was totally impressed with our stay. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We are planning on coming back very soon and will choose Windgate as our location.

"Great place but where are the curtains????"
I got the room with the jazcuzzi tub which was amazing and had a TV next to it. Perfect after a day of skiing. Breakfast was also the best I've ever had at a hotel. The only complaints would be the windows did not have curtains to cover their entire length just the thin white ones which allowed light in all night and the heater was slow to heat the […] room. Nice linens and comfy bedding, clean and fresh room, lots of variety for breakfast and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was an added bonus to find we could have coffee or tea any time throughout the day. The staff was efficient, helpful and pleasant and we had a wonderful three days of getaway time from our families. This was our third stay at Windgate […] and we look forward to returning. Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. Clean rooms and very pleasant service. Morning breakfast isn't fancy, but is exactly what we needed to start our day. Second time we have stayed here and will stay here next time we are in Erie.

My company has it's manufacturing in Erie. I have stayed at this hotel countless times both with collegues and my family and has never once dissappointed me. The rooms are immaculate, the staff is pleasant and caring. The morning breakfast is exactly what you would expect. There are countless restaurant options and tons of support services within 1/4 […] mile. (I highly reccommend Dave's Barbeque right down the road) If you're looking for a romatic hotel with a marble lobby this may not be your first choice, but if you want a great place to call home base while you are in Erie, this is perfect. I booked two rooms. They were very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, the morning breakfast was sufficient and varied. We would gladly stay at a Wyndham hotel in the future.
"Good price for last minute get a way .."
The hotel was close to the road .. as were the other hotels near by, so you could hear the traffic. They need to have thicker curtains as I didn't feel there was enough privacy on our 2nd floor room .. with just a sheer white curtain. Our bed had a blood spot up by the head of the bed. But the hotel staff was great .. and got us new linens. The bed […] was a nice size .. but not as comfortable as I was hoping for. The breakfast in the morning was really good. "Slept like a baby"
This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel. I used this as my respite for my 11 hour drive to visit family. The rooms are clean and the linens are super soft and comfy. (Sheets and pillows are a #1 priority for me when selecting a hotel.) The continental breakfast was average. Would recommend.

We normaly stay in the hotels that are close to the mall in Erie. However the prices were very high this year. So I looked else where and found this hotel. The price of the Wingate was very good (cheaper then all the rest) . "Good location"
We had a great stay at the Wingate Wyndam - not sure what to expect with the 2 1/2 star rating. It merits a 3 1/2 star rating. Close to the Interstate, Very clean, helpful staff and generous buffet selection. Can't wait to get back and spend some more time.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham on Old Oliver Road in Erie PA. The hotel staff was cordial, the rooms were neat and clean with plenty of towels, and workout room and pool were very nice. The hot breakfast was tasty with a nice range of options, and the wifi was free and user friendly. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi in my room […] and the fact that there was a TV hanging on the wall near it to watch while relaxing. My one, very small, complaint it that the coffee maker in my room was not very clean, and although I really wanted to make a fresh cup of coffee I did not feel comfortable using the machine of the build up of water minerals and dust, etc. Overall my experience was quite enjoyable and I would stay there again and recommend it to others. "Windgate in erie"
It was very clean.the bed was comfortable. The only problem we had was we order 2 cots and it was not transferred over from ordering online. We had to go to walmart and buy blowup mattress and sleeping bags.
It was a pleasure to stay. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Very nice hot tub and pool.

This was a great hotel. We enjoyed the manager's happy hour when we arrived. The town of Erie was a straight shot from the hotel. Room was clean. Shower was great. Hotel was easy to find. Definitely recommend this hotel.

THE LOBBY AREA THAT SERVES AS BREAKFAST AREA WAS WELL KEPT AND CLEAN, THE WORKERS THERE KEPT ALL ITEMS IN GOOD SUPPLY THRU OUT THE MORNING FREE BREAKFAST TIME. UP UNTIL 10AM. THERE IS ONE GLARING PROBLEM AND THAT IS THE FIREPLACE HEARTH EDGES ONTO A N AREA TRAVELLED BY CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE GETTING TO AND FROM BREAKFAST BUFFET. Stayed for two nights. Didn't spend much time in the room - mainly for sleeping. Didn't use the pool or gym - they looked nice - lots of kids. Breakfast was good with lots of variety but very busy - get there early. Location was great for shoppers - we went to Cleveland for one day. Would stay here again - price was right.
