Good size 1-bedroom with a kitchen. The kitchen/living room area were nice. Would've been much more comfortable if had air conditioning, and the bed was not very comfortable.

the room was not ready when we got to Hawaii - even though we were there two hours later than we said we would be. also, leak around toilet in guest bathroom, need some mtce. work done on woodword around floors - noticed some mold growing.

The master lamp was broke. The living room lamp was broke. The alarm clock...broke. The bedding was gross. Very old, polyester. I was there for a family wedding. My family members were in a much nicer place than ours, so they may be individually owned. Either way, the location was great, but our unit was pretty bad.

Excellent facilities, and very well stocked kitchen (Pans, Rice Cooker, Coffee Grinder, etc). Loved that there was a washer and dryer in the room, it really made things convenient. We were quite happy with both the facilities and the room, with close access to beaches and a good (Gluten free friendly!) grocery store. We are more of the "get out and […] do stuff" type of people, but if you are more of a "room camper" then you may not like the smaller standard def living room TV, though the bedrooms did have larger HD TVs. Everything about the Wyndham Villas was 5 star standard. The appartment was beautifully decorated, clean and very well appointed. The only thing that should be more clear is that you will need a car to visit local attractions, not expensive we rented a Jeep SUV from Alamo about £28 per day.

The Bali Hai Villas were centrally located and with in walking distance to several restaurants, shops and grocery store. It was also within walking distance from The Queen's Bath, a wonderful ocean made pool. The Bali Hai had barbecues and a large wonderful pool with a waterfall and jacuzzi. Despite the fact that there was no air conditioning we didn't […] need it as there were ample fans and good breezes in late June when we took our holiday. Very nice hotel, liked everything in there, kitchenette, washer/dryer etc. I would just suggest upgrading the TV's to flat screen. Other than that, it was very spacious and comfortable.

We had a nice time and it's a great location as we love the Princeville area and Hanalei. Close to the beaches that we like and great sunsets at many places. The pools and hot tubs were clean and kept up. We used the BBQ once as they do get pretty busy at dinner hour. This was our second time here and would definately come back. Staff was friendly.

Clean rooms and a staff that makes you feel very welcome. Grounds are immaculately maintained. Too few barbeque grills for guest use (long lines) and jets in two of the hot tubs were not working during our stay.

I am an RCI member and just a heads up, but we get the oldest units in the place. The waterflow in the bathroom was awful and every morning we woke to tiny ants in the coffee pot and on the kitchen counter. The rooms are very outdated and there is no AC. This was not a factor for us on our trip because the temp were OK at night, but I could see how […] it could get hot in the room. The pool areas are good, but no bars on the property nor is there anywhere to eat on the property so keep that in mind. Exceptionally well-maintained grounds, and a spacious and comfortable two-bedroom time-share condo, with well-equipped kitchen and grocery store nearby in Princeville Center. A family of 6 (incl three little ones) was quite comfortable. Pools are small, and there is no housekeeping service (since these are condos), but washer-dryer and vacuum is in […] the unit. You will be asked to go to a time-share presentation, but that's not mandatory. If you do agree to attend that, you can get discounts on activities (kayaking, luau, etc). Would certainly return. Despite the fact we booked through hotels.com and it said the hotel included air conditioning there was no such thing anywhere on the property. It was ok at night but the room was rather stuffy and warm during the day. I live in Massachusetts and even my home there has central a/c, so I was surprised a hotel in Hawaii wouldn't have it. The wi-fi gave […] us problems the entire time. A gentleman came by to help us out who was very friendly but after that is stopped working again, was instructed to call AT&T with the problem and again it worked only temporarily. The front desk staff could use some customer service training and the concierge wasn't interested in helping when I said I wasn't interested in a timeshare tour. After staying there I feel bad for anyone stuck in a timeshare with them, the room was spacious but dated. The bed was uncomfortable and I woke up in back pain both mornings. Overall the experience was lousy, I stay in hotels probably 50-60 days a year but hopefully this will be my last stay at a Wyndham. Continua a leggere

Second time I've stayed here. Great location on the North Shore. It's a day trip to West and South shore sites. But we spend most of our time on North Shore. This is a 2 bed, 2 bath condo type property with full kitchen and living room which gives lots of space to spread out and relax. Not luxury but clean and good value. Saved money by making own breakfast […] and packing lunches (yes price of food in grocery stores is high, but cost less than buying breakfast and lunch each day). Also went to local farmer's market for fresh fruit. No a/c but property is up on a bluff where the trade winds make a/c unnessacery. Two large pools with spas. Beautiful views at end of road behind property, and down the road going towards St. Regis hotel. It is a Time Share property and they do try to sell you a Time Share. Easy to avoid by making an appt at check in (because it's easier than saying no in person). Then call the morning of the appt and cancel it; when asked if you want to reschedule say no thanks and that's the end of it. Also don't bother going to the "orientation" breakfast unless you are interested in purchasing activities like helicoptor ride, scuba diving, etc. Continua a leggere

The front desk folks were incredibly rude. In the middle of checking in, the clerk took a lengthy phone call, didn't even excuse herself. In addition, front desk gave terrible driving directions several times. Worst of all, after settling in to our room, we discovered a badly leaking toilet. Very nice and nicely maintained condos in Princeville on the North Shore of Kauai that are a good base for trips on the north half of the island. Don't expect a view of either the ocean or the mountains (although a few might have mountain views) because these are surrounded by other developments. There are two pools and one tennis court for the complex. […] The accommodation we had was impeccably clean and well laid out and organized. Most things provided for you including beach towels; even a pizza cutter. Only three minor caveats: 1.) the sound proofing between units and upstairs/downstairs is lacking and 2.) Signage in all of Princeville and especially these properties is unreadable at night. Therefore it is nearly impossible to find your way to the right place the first time if coming in at night. 3.) Expect to be pressured to attend a hard sell timeshare buying presentation. Note that there are lots of these units on the secondary/resale market. Continua a leggere

Very nice place, but there were a few things you need to be very aware of. One, the Wyndham folks are going to do everything in their power to sell you a time share. Second, there is NO Air Conditioning. This really wasn't a problem after we got all the vents open and the fans going, but it was a bit of a shock walking into that hot villa and not finding […] any AC. Finally, we arrived late. You need to go to the Club House to check in. The girl there was indifferent to the point of being unfriendly. I'm not used to that outside of Hilo! The condos are kept up with, but unlike hotels you have to keep up with your own towels, trash and sheets. You can pay extra to have it done at some point during your stay, but we did not find it necessary. One great feature was havinga washer and dryer in the condo so you could do beach towles, swim suits and the like. When we were booking it does […] not mention there is not any air conditioning, but we did not miss it at all. Just open the windows and sliding doors (all have screens) and let the tradewinds blow. We felt very safe and secure and the people in the area were warm and welcoming. Do know that Wyndham condos are part of timeshare and they will try to have you take a tour of their facilities and sell you on their timeshares. They are not overly pushy though and if you do not want to do the tour and sales pitch (we did not) they are not offended. As for location, if you want to be on the north side of the island this is a great place. There is the Princeville Shopping Center with places to eat, shop and with a grocery store you can easily set up your home base in paradise. Also note if you want to do activities check with the concierge desk, they get great discounts on many activities on the island. Continua a leggere

The villa was perfect, plenty of space to move around for everyone, kitchen had everything you'd need, living area and balconies were nice. Right nearby the major grocery store for the north coast, we had an excellent time. Would stay there again :)

I booked hotel stay--to deal with family problem I was not told it was a timeshare and that I had to attend a 90 minute presentation. I had limited time and and was pressured everyday to attend.l Finally I wanted to stay an extra day and was advised to attend but did not have 90minutes they cancelled the presentation, wasted my time during a family […] emergency and continued to call me 1-2x day to meet for the sales -pitch, even after I left. This place is more like condos...not a hotel. It doesn't have an on premise bar or restaurant....it's a Vacation rental in the ubertopia community of Princeville. You need to drive everywhere...it's not close enough to anything walking distance. The condos were very nice...with full kitchens if you need...we didn't. It's a timeshare location, so they'll […] offer you a "90 min" presentation in exchange for a giftcard and island discount card. It's worth it if you plan to use the discounts, which we did. It's not worth it, if you have minimal time and can't spare the +2hr **sigh** car salsesman presentation. Overall, nice place to stay if you have kids, would like to cook at home, or dig large rooms. It's a letdown if you prefer to be pampered hotel-style, ammenities within walking distance, and beaches and shops within a 10min walk. Continua a leggere

Would return again. Great resort. Rooms have a nice layout with open kitchen and living room. Minor maintenance issues, only 1 burner worked on the stove and CD player needs to be replaced. Overall a beautiful resort with new pool. Very comfortable place to be for those days when it rained.

プリンスヴィル、マカイの各ゴルフ場直近で、ゴルフ仲間3人の滞在用に2ベッドルームの部屋を予約しました。 寝室は独立した2室でサイズも充分、バスルームとは別にシャワールームもあり、友人4人の滞在にも余裕の広さです。 キッチン設備も整っており、スーパーも車で5分のところにあり、自炊派にもお薦めです。 洗濯機、乾燥機、食洗機も付いていて、長期滞在に向いています。

大人三人で泊まりました。 ベッドルームが二つあり、バスルームもそれぞれの部屋についているのでシャワーを順番に使うのを待つ必要がありません。 キッチンもフル装備なので、本格的に料理をする人も、朝だけ簡単に用意するのにも便利です。 設備もよく管理されており清潔でなんの問題もありません。 場所はリフエの空港から40分くらいで少しはなれていますが、スーパーもすぐ近くですし、きれいなビーチもいろいろあるので静かにくつろげる良い場所です。 車で10分以内のところにレストランも何軒かあるので、外食にも困ることはありません。 近くでカヤックをしたりゴルフをしたり乗馬をしたりとアクティビィティも色々あります。 おすすめです。

3泊しましたが初日の夜、寝付いて一時間後(0時過ぎ）隣室(スウィートルームが扉で仕切られている)から突然女性のわめく鳴き声に起こされました。 ワ～ワ～ がなりながらの異常な状態がしばらく続き、深夜にこんなことが起こるとは非常識さにあきれました。 男性のなだめる声がかき消されるくらいで、我々も３０分くらいは我慢していましたがなかなか止まず、ついに主人が境界のドアを叩いて少し静かになった次第です。 その後もトーンは落ちたもののしばらく続き、１時間半も睡眠時間を損ないました。(実はその前に宿泊したプリンスヴィルでも同様の騒動に遭遇し、全く運の悪いことでした。） ロケーションとか、利便性は良かったですが次回利用したいとはあまり思いません。 一組のマナーの悪い人のためにホテルの評判が悪くなるのも困った […] ものですね。 後、２日目はアメニティの補充がされず、普通のホテルでは考えられないことです。 Continua a leggere
