"Beautiful"
The room was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean. We stayed in the one bedroom with the full kitchen. It was especially nice for us traveling with a four month old. The only thing is when I booked online thew site claimed that every room has the full kitchen. This is not the case; the studio suite is a regular room with a fridge and microwave only. "Up North Resort"
The first night we had to go and request cups - there was a coffee maker, but no cups. We were told that since we were only in a suite, we could only have paper cups--we were not asking for fine china (the attitude thing). The second day the room was not cleaned. It took until the third day for the chair outside the room to be replaced so that we could […] actually use it. The fourth and fifth day, things were done nicely. My husband and I have friends who own a second home on Big Stone Lake in Three Lakes, and for the last several summers, we've spent time with them at their place. We really fell in love with the town, the beauty of the Northwoods and the chain of lakes. If you want to experience true Wisconsin hospitality, this is the town to visit! Friendly people, […] quaint little shops, great restaurants, and outdoor activities galore for every season. Our reason for choosing The Northernaire was to get a "feel" for the property as we were very interested in purchasing a condo unit there for a second home. The rooms are gorgeous with top-of-the-line furnishings and appliances. Some of the amenities include indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, fitness room, and lounge.
