Il Shibuya Tobu Hotel si è rivelato OTTIMO, in una posizione eccezionale, relativamente economico ma di fascia medio/alta. Camera piccola ma funzionale (in una città come Tokyo la camera server per dormire e basta), bagno pulito e in stile giapponese. Molto tranquillo di notte, nonostante il luogo in cui si trova (a meno di 500 metri ci sono le discoteche più frequentate di Tokyo e uno degli incroci più trafficati del Mondo). E' assolutamente antisismico (testato sul campo visto che c'è stata una scossa di terremoto di 5.6 che quasi non si è sentita). Mi sento di raccomandarlo a chiunue voglia fare una vacanza unica, il quartiere di Shibuya è il cuore di Tokyo e si possono trovare centinaia di ristoranti, bar, locali, negozi e grandi magazzini per tutte le tasche. A+++++++

Nel complesso, tornassi a Tokyo credo che vi soggiornerei ancora. Molti ristoranti e family marker aperti 24h nelle immediate vicinanze. Unica pecca:telefonata alle 12 per sapere se pulire la stanza(e io magari dormivo) e niente wi-fi in camera, solo LAN ....

Tutto ottimo, grande cortesia ed aiuto nella "soluzione dei problemi" anche di carattere personale. Ottimo Inglese, ottima colazione a buffet. Unico "neo" :la camera singola, oltre ad essere poco spaziosa e priva di armadio odorava di fumo di sigaretta. Grande vantaggio:il bus navetta che dall'aeroporto di Narita porta direttamente davanti all'albergo e viceversa.Ottima la zona vicinissima al Forum internazionale e piena di shopping centers e ristoranti.

La posizione è estremamente comoda perchè a piedi si può arrivare nella via principale di Ginza, alla stazione del treno e alla metro (linea principale). il personale è estremamente disponibile. le camere sono un po' piccole ma hanno tutti i comfort. si sente un po' il treno che passa difronte ma lo stesso vale per il dai-ichi hotel. intorno all'albergo ci sono molti ristoranti.

Questo immenso centro commerciale e congressuale, ricco di intrattenimenti, non si ferma mai! Si tratta di un vero e proprio fenomeno giapponese pieno di negozi, insegne al neon lampeggianti, noodle bar e coloratissimi schermi che fiancheggiano le strade. Circa due milioni di persone attraversano soltanto la stazione ferroviaria. Il municipio dallo stile futuristico dispone di un punto di osservazione gratuito da cui è possibile godere di scorci spettacolari della città.

"Sunroute Shinjuku"
Sono stato a Tokyo 3 volte e ho sempre soggiornato al Sunriute. E' un hotel comodo, dignitoso, eccellente posizione, internet gratis in camera (no wifi). L'unica avvertenza riguarda il tipo di camera: è preferibile la standard con queen perchè l'altro tipo di doppia è davvero piccola e non è un tipo di camera ristrutturata di recente e risente degi […] suoi anni. "Ottimo hotel a tre passi dalla stazione"
Sono stato in questo hotel per una vacanza a Tokyo e dintorni, con durata di 9 notti. Sono rimasto decisamente soddifastto e consiglio a chiunque questo hotel: la pulizia è a dir poco maniacale e la vicinanza alla stazione di Shinjuku lo rende veramente una scelta ideale. Lo so dovrei fare una recensione sull'hotel, mi riesce un po' difficile, ma ci provo, ancora mi devo riprendere da questa meravigliosa esperienza a Tokyo. Comunque. Hotel situato in una posizione a dir poco favolosa, shinjuku infatti e' secondo me il vero centro di Tokyo, ammesso che ce ne sia uno come lo intendiamo noi. Locali, ristoranti, negozi, […] banche, money change,metro.....insomma tutto a portata di mano, poi la sera e' un quartiere sempre vivo e si trova sempre qualcosa da fare. Tornando all'hotel, si attesta su livelli medio-alti in rapporto a quello che si e' pagato per il soggiorno, personale sempre disponibile e cordiale, buona comunicazione in inglese. Ecco in sintesi si puo' dire questo: semplicita' e cortesia. La stanza forse un po' piccola e' in ogni caso molto confortevole, essenziale con una nota di merito per la qualita' dei letti...........mai dormito su un giaciglio simile. Situati al 14mo piano avevamo anche un bel panorama il che non guasta.............non so se si e' capito bene, ma io ci tornerei di corsa. "Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku di Tokyo"
Camera pulita, ordinata e piacevole. Se proprio si vuole trovare una pecca, il bagno era un pochetto piccolo. Vicinissimo alla mastodontica stazione di Shinjuku e quindi perfettamente collegato con TUTTI i mezzi di trasporto su rotaia. Veramente un buon hotel, consigliato!

"Ottimo hotel in una splendida zona"
L'hotel ha camere piccole (come quasi tutti gli alberghi in Giappone), ma molto confortevoli. Inoltre si trova a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Con una breve passeggiata si arriva comodamente alla zona di Shinjuku, davvero molto viva la sera.

Albergo molto bello e pulito e soprattutto in un'ottima posizione per visitare la stupenda Tokyo. Infatti è situato a due passi dalla stazione e in un quartiere tra i più vivi e affascinanti della metropoli.

le stanze erano molto pulite, problemi di comunicazione con lo staff alla reception, che come tutti giapponesi parlavano e capivano ben poco l'inglese. Il ristorante chiudeva troppo presto, il cibo era buono ma troppo caro se confrontato con la quantità delcibo offerto, lo staff veniva poco incontro alle esigenze degli occidentali, troppa fiscalità […] sull'ora di chiusura del ristorante. posizione perfetta, Shinjuku è la stazione metro' collegata con tutto... ed è un quartiere notturno molto divertente... l'hotel è impeccabile, le stanze sono un po' piccole come in tutto il giappone ma tutto il resto è veramente ottimo.

This hotel has a good location. Standard rooms are really tight. Everything seems crammed in. Cleanliness was average. Staff was friendly. I have stayed in better in this same proximity.

Close to Shinjuku, Like that the airport bus stops there, so no carrying luggage. Helpful staff, great housekeeping. Pillows could be softer.

Clean, nice and good location hotel in Shinjuku area (very near to JR Shinjuku Station). Would be nice if could stay in JR Tokyo Station but was too expensive, hence this would be the next best location as it's another interchange for most of the JR lines and Narita Express to the Airport.

We really enjoyed the Sunroute in Shinjuku - it's close to the station, bars and restaurants but is very quiet inside. The rooms are a bit cosy but have everything you need and a comfy bed. We have already recommended to friends.

The location of this hotel was great and very useful. We were only 5mins away from Shinjuku station, and walking distance from 7-Eleven (to withdraw money) and McDonalds. As the first stop in our trip, it was also great that the Narita Express from the airport, stopped at this station. One of the main reasons we visited Japan was to see the Cherry Blossom […] festival, and this hotel was only 10mins walking distance from Shinjuku Gyoen, a great place to view the cherry blossoms! There were heaps of eateries and other sights nearby too, including the Metropolitan Government Building, a great lookout over Shinjuku. Our only negative was that the room was very small, but this is something we got accustomed to in various hotels in Japan. We didn't have much interaction with the hotel staff, so there's not much to comment on regarding this apart from the fact that they did speak limited English so it was a little difficult communicating with them. "Convenience and Comfort"
Good location, clean and comfortable room. If you don't need a gym or a pool, this is probably one of the best places to stay for a business trip. Only challenge I faced was when I needed to use the hotel screen for my laptop but the input changing system was locked.

Next to shinjuki station, very clean and comfortable. Wifi. Good coffee. Pleasant stay. Helpful staff. Airport limo bus stop to and from Narita makes it very convenient.

shinjuku station was just 5 min walk away and so are the malls around shinjuku station. There are fast food outlets, cafes and family mart surrounding the hotel. There is also a macdonalds that is open 24 hours just 2 min walk away so you don't have to be afraid of being hungry at the unearthly hours. "Location is fantastic but room is small."
Booked 2 rooms but told no connecting rooms in hotel. But got 2 rooms on same floor few door away, Service is good, Hotel staff is helpful. Room is clean. Location is close to JR & subway. Room are small as in most places in Tokyo. There is also a self serve laundry on basement. Overall this hotel is worth the money in a good location.

I asked to change rooms because my bathtub moved everytime I shifted my weight while taking a shower. Upon closer observation, the tub moved about a half inch everytime I stepped. Room space is too small. We have 2 adults and 1 kid, therefore there is not enough space for us. The bed is small also.
"Maybe you can do better?"
OK location close to Shinjuku station, which is why we chose this hotel in the first place. However, we made much better deals elsewerhe in Tokyo later and would probably not return here. Wifi only in the lobby. April 2012.

"Pleasant stay"
Room is the typical Japanese size. I guess all the staff at the reception speaks English and they are in general quite helpful, except for a male staff who is pretty rude. There is a metro exit just right beside the hotel and a convenient store directly opposite. I just wish they have complimentary wifi in the hotel room and earlier check-in time.

"Excellent hotel"
The room was comfortable and had complete amenities. It's a 5-minute walk to Shinjuku Station. It was a little pricey for me because I had much simpler needs; but for business travellers, this would be an excellent place to stay. Families would feel very comfortable here, too.

Very international hotel for very nation...Sensible Price...good location on shinjuku..Whenever JR Shinjuku new south Exit is complete....this hotel is nearly platform no.5 of Narita Express Train to Narita Airport....Short walking and laggaging.....I will come back soon...Thank you very much.

The hotel is a budget hotel but has nice amenities. It is relatively new and is spotlessly clean. The front desk staff are very helpful and speak good English. The hotel is very close to the Shinjuku JR Station (Narita Express Train) and also the Tokyo Subway System. There is a Starbucks, Citibank, and several shopping malls close by. Everything you […] need is within a few feet of the hotel. The rooms are very small and but very nice. The internet is wired, but free. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is sparkling clean. There are vending machines on each floor that sell drinks including beer. There are washing machines in the basement for 300 yen in case you need to wash some clothes on your trip. "Clean but tiny"
Hotel was clean, service was good, but the rooms are extremely small. two people and luggage barely fit, and covered almost the entire floor space. close to Shinjuku train station and reasonably priced.

Very handy location, very close to various train lines. Super helpful staff, really improved our stay. We were expecting a little more comfort in the room for the price - bed and pillows were quite hard, only local TV was free, dirt marks on the carpet, but we didn't spend much time there so it didn't matter so much. Very close to plenty of restaurants, […] bars and cafes. Directions were a bit vague - yes it's only 3 mins from South exit JR station but head right and take the first left at the lights. This hotel has many good things going for it but there some trade offs. Pros: -Location is perfect as a home base. Walking distnce to Shinjuku Station. -It's very clean. -Offers a Western Style breakfast Buffet, bacon, eggs, toast, juice, coffee. Located at near the Southern Exit of the very busy Shinjuku JR station, this business hotel is minimal, but well kept and has excellent service. As with most places in Japan, it really helps to speak Japanese, but I had some foreign friends mention that they were able to get information from the front desk without a lot of fuss and muss. There is WiFi […] in the lobby, but you need to ask at the front desk for the password. In the rooms there is a LAN cable for laptops, but no open WiFi options, which would have been nicer. The room we stayed in was a economy double room and it was small with just enough room for our suitcases and us. It's perfect for just sleeping and getting a little work done, but not really for lounging around. This is a business hotel after all. Overall, it was a pleasant and convient stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone that would like to stay near the Tokyo hot spots. Continua a leggere
"Brilliant hotel, clean, good location"
Great hotel, location perfect, near shinjuku station, easy to get to from airport. The station has mainly link so easy to get around to sight see. The hotel is very clean, room are small but is ok, as you are there to sleep, hotel staff are very helpful, would not hesitate to stay here again when in japan.
"Tokyo Marathon"
Have been staying in this hotel for the past 2 years marathon. Wonderful location with subway station next to it. Starbucks, Family Mart and other restaurant are also within 3 mins walk. Hotel comes with nice business lounge for free internet assess and free printing. Choice with no regrets.
