Il Shibuya Tobu Hotel si è rivelato OTTIMO, in una posizione eccezionale, relativamente economico ma di fascia medio/alta. Camera piccola ma funzionale (in una città come Tokyo la camera server per dormire e basta), bagno pulito e in stile giapponese. Molto tranquillo di notte, nonostante il luogo in cui si trova (a meno di 500 metri ci sono le discoteche più frequentate di Tokyo e uno degli incroci più trafficati del Mondo). E' assolutamente antisismico (testato sul campo visto che c'è stata una scossa di terremoto di 5.6 che quasi non si è sentita). Mi sento di raccomandarlo a chiunue voglia fare una vacanza unica, il quartiere di Shibuya è il cuore di Tokyo e si possono trovare centinaia di ristoranti, bar, locali, negozi e grandi magazzini per tutte le tasche. A+++++++

Nel complesso, tornassi a Tokyo credo che vi soggiornerei ancora. Molti ristoranti e family marker aperti 24h nelle immediate vicinanze. Unica pecca:telefonata alle 12 per sapere se pulire la stanza(e io magari dormivo) e niente wi-fi in camera, solo LAN ....

Tutto ottimo, grande cortesia ed aiuto nella "soluzione dei problemi" anche di carattere personale. Ottimo Inglese, ottima colazione a buffet. Unico "neo" :la camera singola, oltre ad essere poco spaziosa e priva di armadio odorava di fumo di sigaretta. Grande vantaggio:il bus navetta che dall'aeroporto di Narita porta direttamente davanti all'albergo e viceversa.Ottima la zona vicinissima al Forum internazionale e piena di shopping centers e ristoranti.

La posizione è estremamente comoda perchè a piedi si può arrivare nella via principale di Ginza, alla stazione del treno e alla metro (linea principale). il personale è estremamente disponibile. le camere sono un po' piccole ma hanno tutti i comfort. si sente un po' il treno che passa difronte ma lo stesso vale per il dai-ichi hotel. intorno all'albergo ci sono molti ristoranti.

"Sunroute Plaza -good ground for exploring the city"
Me and my oartner attempted taking the local keisei train from Narita airport to Shinjuku, and it was not much of a hassle as we imagined. From Shinjuku stn, to get to Sunroute hotel you need to find the South exit (there are many many exits!) and walk towards First Kitchen at the road junction, cross road on left side. The hotel is not very noticeable […] but once you see Macdonalds its a short walk further down! Loved the hotel for its convenience and easy walking distance to many eateries and shopping! Also the hotel staff were friendly and polite, and we could always borrow umbrella from them. Housekeeping was efficient too. Generally nothing to complain about other than the very soft pillows. "Perfect!"
Fantastic location for accessing Shinjuku and the train station. Friendly staff. Having the airport bus pick up right at the hotel is a real bonus. Only downside was no wi-fi in the room. It was available in the lobby.

The Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku has always been one of my favorite places to stay when I need a hotel in Tokyo. Everything is perfect there; location, staff, cleanliness, rooms, services,etc. It leaves absolutely nothing to be desired (unless you expect something unrealistic of Tokyo hotel room sizes). I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I have stayed […] there several times and I'm sure I'll stay there again soon. Don't pass it up...I actually think they're finally starting to realize how awesome it is because the prices are finally starting to creep up ^_^ Anyway, its still a great price and a great place to stay. Very reasonable rate for such a convenient location. Walk to JR line in less than 5mins. Big departmental mall with walking distance eg OIOI, illume, takashimaya, isetan, mitsukoshi etc Convenient stall just within 1 min walk from hotel to get your necessities. Think the best part is the airport limo bus stop right at the hotel door step! "Excellection location"
Sunroute Plaza located in the heart of Shinjuku. It has been always my first choice when visit Takyo. It is not a five star hotel, but you get more then what you pay for.

Very handy to Shinjuku Station, and thus to public transportation anywhere, and an Airport Limousine bus makes a stop right at the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shopping places nearby. The "economy double" is really meant as a single room (the hotel's website indicates that the standard doubles are much larger in area), but we found it adequate basic […] accommodation, if somewhat cramped for a week's stay. Our room was very quiet--no outside noise. Internet is by cable, and a bit slow; there is tea provided, but no coffee. "superb location in Shinjuku"
Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku has a superb location in Shinjuku. It is near the Shinjuku JR station, linkbridge to Takashimaya which could be a pitstop (especially in the cold winter) to the other side of shopping areas in Shinjuku i.e. Topshop, Forever 21, Isetan, Lumine etc... We are also a stone throw away from the dining & pachinko cluster where we spend […] 3 dinners there! Variety of food is good! Room is clean and tidy as expected of a Japanese hotel but the size is a surprise! We actually do not feel cramp or stuff up in the room, not bad considering the usual mindset of a small compact room in a typical Tokyo hotel. Good choice if you intend to stay in Shinjuku. It is very closed to Shinjuku JR station, takes not more than 3 minutes walk. The room is very small and no enough space for your luggage to be fully opened. For the price and location its my favorite in Shinjuku. Others I've stayed in Shinjuku include Keio Plaza, Washington Hotel, Prince Hotel, and Sunroute Plaza is the best location and each individual room has its own climate controll which is not available in a lot of hotels in Japan. Its 1 minute from the Toei Oedo line; 5 minutes from rest of Shinjuku […] station South entrance; next door to a 24 hour ATM that accepts foreign debits; and just acros the street from the Souther Terrace (get the melon soft cream at the Hokkaido specialty store). Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is located in the most convenient and safe position in this busy area of Tokyo. Convenience stores, restaurants and transport are all very close and the surrounds are very safe and relaxing. We have stayed here many times and will stay here again.

I've been to Tokyo for many times and it's my very first time staying in a hotel that is so close to the JR Shinjuku station. I got a great rate from Hotels.com and the stay is enjoyable.

Make sure you take the SOUTH exit at Shinjuku station to get to this hotel easiest. Very nice hotel, good sized room. Free internet room - very comfortable. Great location.

Perfect location for travelling around Tokyo - both JR and subway are very easy to access from the hotel. Small rooms as to be expected in Tokyo but great value and comfortable. We will stay here again on our next trip.

"Small but great price"
The room fits the two of us perfectly OK although the space was really tight. It had all the amenities we like--fridge, water boiler, slippers, ropes. Also a fine location and is a standard stop for the airport shuttle. Would stay again.

It's a convenient business hotel adjacent to the Shinjuku train/subway stations. Highly recommended just for location alone. It's not overly luxurious/spacious given the price you pay, but it's clean and decent. Did the job for me.

2 minute walk from Shinjuku station and from there a short train trip to most places in the city, this hotel is in a great location for seeing everything. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and made every effort to suggest sightseeing spots, give directions and help out with any queries fast and efficient!
