The holet was nice could use a little maintenance but over all it was nice. The only dissappointment was the pool it was dirty n not maintained at all.

The hotel was awful. First of all, on the web site they show a pool which is no longer in service. This is the reason I choose this hotel over another one. Then, our mattress had to be changed cause it was totally soak of pee. And of course my husband and brother had to changed it cause they didn't had more personnel to help. "not tooo bad"
It is an old building, with the things that come with being old. It's right by the water, so its humid. I froze in order to keep from sweating, and there was an old, musty smell. There were spider webs in one corner of the room. It was very quit, I didn't hear anything but the air conditioner, and the location was close to where I had to be that morning. […] I was uncomfortable being by myself, so I would recommend pairing up. I loved the deep bath tub, and the water stayed very hot until the tub was all the way full- that was a big A+ for me. This hotel is a little older and the room wasn't the as clean as I would have prefered but the bed was super comfortable and clean. The front desk associate was very nice and helpful. Although you are right across from the shoreline, you need to drive to get to any beach area.

This place is pretty nasty. Giant cockroaches dead in the middle of the hallways for our entire stay, moldy shower curtain, roach powder in all corners of the building, broken furniture in the hallways. broken ice machine etc. This place needs some work. "Close to water, not really an Ocean View!"
This hotel is adequate as far as room size, had decent bed, tv, fridge and microwave, but was truly outdated. The hallways were a bit dark and the fire escapes were not locked, providing access to anyone from outside. We paid for an ocean view, yet there was a very large building directly across the street blocking the water. The location is good, close […] to Lexington, marina, good if u don't plan to spend large amounts of time in the room. This place was OK! Was probably fabulous when built! "i would never recommend this place to stay"
had 6 kids ages 2-13 and was badly treated by those people.managenet even using four letter words which my grandchildren could hearif i could have gotten my money back that day i would not have stayed there.
There was no iron or board. I went down to the front desk, waited 15 minutes and then they told me that someone would bring me one. They did provide one. I plugged it in, let it get warm, and thankfully I passed it on a wet rag before ironing my shirt, because black stuff stained the rag. I brought both down to the front desk, showed them what had happened, […] and they offered another one, I did not have time to wait, so I chose to go un-ironed. "Clean Room and bathroom"
Hotel and room were dated, but room had clean sheets and bathroom. Ok if you are traveling on a budget or just using the room to sleep.

First they gave us a room that was still occupied. The outside trashbins were overflowing with trash, the lobby bathroom did not have paper towels, they gave another customer a plunger and told them to fix their toilet and the hotel would pick it up the next morning, our shower had not been cleaned(hair in shower), the carpet had a slimy feel, and the […] continental brkft was first come/first serve. Once the food and drinks were gone...you were out of luck. Plus, it wasn't much of brkft. And all in all the room just felt dirty. And it took about 12 hrs for our room to cool down. "Dirty but ..."
I wasn't expecting the Ritz out of this place and was hoping that it wasn't a dump either. Upon checking-in, the front desk clerk was helpful and speedy. The room left something to be desired though: the trash wasn't emptied, the bathroom was missing some ceiling tiles, and I was hoping the sheets were clean (which I think they were from the smell of […] them). There weren't any of the typical Corpus cockroaches so that's a big plus. The parking lot was well lit and after 9pm, one cannot enter the building without a door code. Overall, if you need a place to bunk down for the night, this is a decent option. If you expect the place to be stellar, this is not the place for you. Continua a leggere
"Would recommend but . . ."
This hotel is located in a great area with good access to major roads and just a stone's throw from the bay. The service staff was friendly but rather incompetent. A booked room includes a rather poor breakfast that is rarely restocked and the staff seem to disappear in the mornings so as to not have to attend to the needs of guests. Our room was large, […] comfortable and clean when we checked in, but don't expect too much. The hotel is old, run down and the workmanship is shoddy at best. The maids apparently just vacuum through the rooms quickly and make the beds if the guests are staying for more than one night. On the first day they didn't even empty our garbage can. The bottom line: this is a fine hotel for budget-minded travelers who care primarily about location and a comfortable, quiet bed. "Needs Improvement"
This is a locally owned motel, but does not meet expectations. I was the only person in the hotel. I never even seen a cleaning lady and the the sheets were dirty. I woould not recommend this to anyone. However, the staff and owners were wonderful.
"Knights Inn- A blessing in disguise"
To be honest, the motel was not what I was hoping for - :-) But it was REALLY CLEAN and that is the most important thing to me...so I decided to remember that it was OK for the price! As we progressed through the weekend we got to know some of the staff better and they were really nice people. We enjoyed our stay very much and yes, I would recommend […] it! Hotel was not well kept . The rooms were not very clean. and they were not very friendly.
"Roach motel"
I was a little hesitant to make this reservation, but because we had a group going and this was the hotel suggested, I went ahead and made reservations. We arrived at 11:20pm after being on the road for 5 hours. On the door to the hotel was a sign (basically a card board box) that said "office closed". On a smaller piece of paper taped to the door was […] a phone number to call. We called that number for 20 minutes and it continued to be busy. Luckily I remember that there were two Knight's Inns in Corpus. I called the other one. She said hold on and I will try to call. Then all of a sudden a man came out of nowhere and said that he would check us in. The only reason we followed him was because he knew the security code to get in the door. He checked us in, we unpacked the car and went to our room. By this time it is about 12:15am. We just wanted to go to sleep, we had to be at the ballpark at 7am. The beds were not confortable. And I don't know what they consider an oceanview, but this was not it. The room smelt as if it had mildew. In the morning, we got up and took showers. The shower curtains were disgusting and torn. We got out as fast as we could and headed to the ballpark. I called hotels.com and asked to move. They advised me that it would be up to the hotel to make sure we got our refund. I went to the hotel and asked to be able to check out and get a refund. He agreed and we got out as fast as we could. Continua a leggere
"Needs major improvement"
Very muggy and humid. Was clean but had a musky odor. Had bad experience when someone turned on the alarm system and we had to leave our room in the middle of night only to find out it was a false alarm.

upon check in we knew it did not meet the reviews on line. 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth was in bathroom. we had small roaches on wall during our 3 day stay. we were the only guest first night and felt unsafe parking in lot. breakfast consisted of cereal and coffee with toast. room was cleaned after we requested on 2nd day. we only had a partial roll […] of toielet paper and had to find manager to get more. the hotel could be better if improvements were put in place. "Great room for those on the go! Some essentials were missing, but a phone call away."
PROS: Beds were very comfortable. A/C and Refrigerator were very cold. Room was very clean. CONS: 3 lights worked out of 8. One required unplugging the microwave to plug in the light, the rest needed to be replaced. Their daily cleaning service didn't clean much of anything and didn't leave us with any towels (had to call the front desk to get some). "Great Room for the Money"
This was a clean hotel and our rooms were large. The service was great. We have been to other hotels in the are but felt safe here and it didn't smell moldy.

its been a long time since i have stayed in a hotel like this. im from a small town and this hotel had a small town feel to it. the train theme was great too. the only problems were that the elevator wasnt working and our rooms were on the 3rd floor. my grandma was with us and couldnt walk up the steps. the guy at the desk was cool about it. he gave […] us a room on the first floor that i think should have been more expensive but he didnt charge us. and the "ocean" veiw was more like a "hotel across the street" veiw. it was ok though because we spent most of the time in the back in the pool. the guy also let us use a BBQ pit in the back to cook. most of the hotels i have used in the past wouldnt let you cook there unless in was in the microwave. but all in all it was a great hotel. "Good Deal"
The hotel itself was nice, needs some cosmetic work and looks like some things may be in process. Overall it was clean and the staff was nice. No complaints for the money. A great deal conpared to the other hotels across the street and further up.

Location is great, but was disappointed with the breakfast. The only food items were 3 kinds of cereal and white bread.
