"sufficient"
The good: Hotel was clean, personel very polite and welcoming. The not so good: walls are thin, so you hear everything going on outside and in the other rooms, bed was hard, shower wasn't impressive, and the TV was from the 90's. In the end would I stay there again for a night, yes, for a few days probably not.

Just a quick overnight stop-was as expected for rating and price. Only issue was lack of clear directions to restaurant locations.

"Good price for a decent place"
The hotel is pretty clean and in fairly good repair. Check in was quick and we had 2 rooms so they were able to put us on the same floor even though we arrived at 1;30am and they were nearly full. Good value. If you're driving from Florida to Canada then this is a pretty good place to stop for the night at around the 1400 km mark.

"Clean for a one-night stay"
Off the highway a bit if you're travelling up I-77, but very clean. A great place if all you need is a bed. Warning though, that there aren't any fast-food places nearby if you need a bite - eat before you get there.

Other than the room being small and listening to the fellow in the next rooms phone conversations, it was everything I expected in an overnight hotel. Clean, presentable and close to highway access but not close to the bulk of restaurants in the area. "close to West Virginia turnpike"
We spent the night at the Microtel on our way home from traveling. It was not to far off the main route.The room was clean,the staff friendly,and the continental breakfast was a plus. The only drawback was that there were no close restaraunts,besides a diner next door.Iwould stay here again , because of the price and location
"Ants in my hotel room."
What started off with ants on the coffee pot turned into ants in the bed. When I told the front desk they just shrugged it off and said "guess you can try another room".

"Great staff, great stay"
We chose this motel to celebrate Christmas with our family. The indoor pool was great for the children to burn off excitement. The staff accommodated our request quickly and politely. The room more than met our needs. Will definitely stay here again.
"You get what you pay for"
The price was lower than the other hotels in the area, but the location was not very desirable. The rooms only had flouresecent lighting, and the service was basic.

My wife and I stayed at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Beckley, WV and we were very pleased. It was our first time there and we would definitely go back again. The front desk person, Daisy, was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were pleased with the fitness facilities. "perfect for an overnight"
This Microtel, just as others we have stayed in are just fine for an overnight stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable but very basic. I wouldn't want to stay for multiple nights simply because the rooms are so small. Kudos to the architects for making every inch count and using techniques to give the illusion ofspace The elevator was out of order […] and the desk clerk offered to help us lug our luggage to the second floor...very kind! Good, clean and safe hotel for family travel. Spacious room. And heated pool!
"Will not go back"
This hotel need to be completely refurbished. Tile stains were present int he bathroom as well as the carpets. Why would you have a mirror across the entire wall at the head of the bed? Very noisy at night. Could hear kids running around all night.

"Microtel in Beckley, WVA, on Eisenhower Dr"
The room looked clean. However, the sheets on the mattress were obviously dirty, with yellowish stains that contained lots of short black hairs. I only discovered this as I was turning in and had to pack up, go to the desk, then show the manager on duty before I got another room. Very disappointed. I usually don't take the time to inspect the sheets […] before turning in but I've learned my lesson after this experience. No, I would not recommend this hotel. There are others in that same town. "Pleasantly Surprised"
This was a great find. The rooms were clean and modern looking. They were small, but we were only there for a night and didn't care. We still managed to put our 6-month old son's bed up and have room to move. Breakfast was okay. There is a breakfast house right next door.

"Pleasurable nights sleep"
We stay here when we come to Beckley. Everytime its clean and no one ever bothers us. Because of this Microtel i now go to others when theres a choice. Ususally very cheap and very clean and up to date. Very comfy place to sleep at and ive never even been to the pool. Im sure that just adds to it.

"Bed Bugs"
One of the indivdiuals that was there with me for the meeting had bed bugs in her room. The milk for breakfast tasted old and the individuals at the registration desk were NOT friendly.

We checked late at night and had no problems. The room was very clean, the only thing I noticed was a stain/burn on the little decorative cover at the foot of the bed. Very happy with the condition of the bathrooms. Air worked great. Hotel was very quiet. Oh, and my 8 year old says the best part was the restaurant (Huddle House), just steps away.

Motel appears new and attractive. Staff very friendly. Manager not on site and problems can not be addressed by front desk. Room housekeeping spotty. No fresh bathroom supplies, bed not made on multi-day stay. Room tiny. Breakfast foods very poor. Way too pricey for product provided. Would choose elsewhere.

It's an inexpensive hotel , with a friendly , helpful staff . I stayed there last summer and chose to stay this year also because of the location and the price. If I had to complain about anything it would be the cleanliness of the room , the sofa had stains on it and the coffee maker looked as if it hadn't been cleaned , do better guys !

"Quiet, safe & conveient to interstate hughways"
The good- Indoor pool, clean room, easy check in. The bad- Room toilet ran all night, mentioned to hotel staff and they said "yeah, we know, we're just waiting on maintenance staff to come in and fix it". great halfway stop for us. happy surprise that you have a pool-it does not mention it on website. we usually book at the other Beckley Microtel because of the pool. I will use this one from now on!

first of all i was discrimanated against with my pet.i was told no pets then turn around and they rent a room with 2 pets and when i said something they just said sorry.then while im talking to the man about that there is another man folding the laundry and drinking a beer behind the counter.then i go to the restaurant in the parking lot that the guy […] that owns the hotel owns the restaurant and we get bad service,our food was burnt,and didnt have condiments for the dinner and then we get there and the guy who folding laundry in the hotel was the cook and he was drinking there too.i have never had such bad service.i do not recommend this hotel to anyone.i have stayed here before and never had trouble.i am still trying to get a hold of the owner everytime i call they say he isnt taking calls.that is good management hahaha.i will get this resolved cause i think i should be entitled to an explanation.hotels.com was great but the motel sucked. "Surprised"
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Our only complaint is that the tub could have been cleaned better. Also, they were out of coffee during breakfast. Regardless, we would stay again.

The linens on the bed were stained and there appeared to be a dried snot on one of the pillow cases. I would have left but it was late and I was traveling with my children. As I walked in from the parking lot I saw a police officer come to the front desk. They had been called to report a "suspicious" vehicle in the lot.
