It was realy good and nice the staff was realy good and help full only the internet was not free quiet expensive but over all best for the price you can get we stay there with my family and had realy good time recommened hotel will back agine

I was very happy with the set up of the apartment, the bedrooms were very nicely set up and the 3 bathrooms came in very handy for our family. The dining table and living room were adequate but we barely used the living room due to it's uncleanliness; the carpet was so filthy that you couldn't even tell what color it was supposed to be and we were afraid […] to sit on the furniture due to it uncleanliness. The air conditioner did not cool in the living or dining areas and due to the fact that the control (thermostat)was there it never shut down so the bedrooms were all very cold. The location was convenient, we walked to the mall and to the underground and there is a family market right across the street but I advise anyone staying there to make sure the taxi knows that it is the hotel apartments as the first taxi we took from the airport took us on a drive 10 minutes past our location because I guess there is another branch of the hotel there. On our last day at the hotel we asked the front desk to call us a taxi for 5 people at 4:30 in order to arrive at the airport, our request was made at 1:30 and we were assured that it would be ready but unfortunately we waited until 5:15 and finally had to go outside and flag down our own taxi, making us arrive at the airport much later than we should have. I would not stay there again unless I was sure that the level of cleanliness had improved dramatically. Continua a leggere

Apart from the conditions of the rooms (which is bearable), the location is fantastic. I would recommend anyone who spend most of the time out in the city, to stay in this hotel.

Out of service AC made the apartment quite warm but the most irritating issue was that they wanted extras for everything. But all in all - Okay

Enjoyed our stay in the Grand Midwest Appartment and Hotel. Really a good room. Didn´t think the breakfast was nice. So when we booked the Hotel again after being in Abu Dhabi, we booked with breakfast. I stayed two weeks here with my wife, on vacation in Dubai. This apt style hotel was spacious clean and well kept. The kitchen was satisfactory. Some pros are the great location, only 3 minutes walk from the metro station. Also, there is a small convenience store right across the street and the Burjuman mall 2 minutes away. Several decent restaurants […] near by. Some cons were 1) our neighbors door bell was so loud and close to our room that it would seem that someone was at our door when their door bell rang. 2) Staff need to be a bit more mindful of replacing towels and toiletries daily when they clean the room. Sometime I would have to call down after returing to our room late in the evening to get fresh towels brought up, etc. 3) Do-not-disturb signs would be great on the door handle of the main enterence to avoid being desturbed by housekeeping in the morning we wanted to sleep in after a late night out. 4) Definately did not appreciate extra charges for wifi internet service, but this seems to be the trend in Dubai. Overall, the location was good and the apartment was quite reasonable for the price. I would have appreciated wifi to be included in the price though. Continua a leggere

The best of this hotel is location, very close to the subway station where two subway lines cross, and the grocery store just in front of the hotel. If you decided to rent a car then there are best options.

This hotel was great especially for the price. It was located very close to the Burjurman mall and around the corner from khalid bin waleed metro station making anywhere easy to get to. Tariq at reception was always extremely helpful and approachable. He was always willing to offer advice of where to go see and eat ect. The door man was also very courteous. […] As well as the tour guide who could help book excursions his advice was very useful. If i were to go to Dubai again I would certainly stay here again. I expected more from the Hotel. There was no coffee making facilities in the room, which I would expect in any accommodation. The rooms are outdated, but OK. The curtains were closed, which I realise was due to another building looking straight into the rooms. It was difficult getting taxis from the Hotel. lat year I have spent over 130 nights in hotels but never seen such a dirty, smelly place with roaches all over the bathroom and bedroom, smelling bad of sweat and curry - do not stay!!

the Hotel Grand midwest is close to service road, therfore you could have noise and room is not that quality. othere services is paybale as internet and no breakfast facility.

when i enter the hotel room it looked okay to me,very well one y my housekeeper,as i was very tired coz I had a very long flight I went for a shower and there was all water in the bathroom. It was from the A/c unit on top of the bathroom very heavy leak sometimes.very dissapointed with this issue.Otherwise it was Ok.

I booked a 3 bedroom apartment, when we got to the hotel it was a 2 bedroom apartment with additional twins beds in the large sitting room. Bathroom was just standard, no replacement shampoo/conditioner or shower caps for days, had to keep asking for it. Hotel advertises that there is a jacuzzi, it is always switched off, when you ask to use it they […] make excuses like it takes ages to switch on so you have to tell them in advance, did that the next day, gave them enuff time to switch on but again when we went to the jacuzzi it was off, complained and was switched on within 2 minutes, so day before was a lie when they said it takes ages to turn on. when we got into the jacuzzi the water smelt and was dirty, there was no drain for the water to go, so the water was all over the floor. we stayed in jacuzzi literally only 5 mins. Swimming pool was nice, but shower area not very clean, also they have a big shade over the chairs in pool area but it is all ripped/torn, so you cant sit in the sun as it would just burn your skin. I ENJOYED STAY AT GRAND MIDWEST. QUIT SPACY ROOM & BIG CLEAN BATHROOM. GOOD ROOM SERVICE. ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE RESTAURENT, NOT MUCH CHOICE OF FOOD. LOCATION IS GOOD, MINA BAZAR IS ONLY 5TO10 MINUTES WALK.

It was so expensive for almost two star hotel, the nightmare was when I wanted a shower ( guess what?) the water was boiling all the time (morning and night) I did complain about it, three times and the answer was ( we will look at it) till my stay was over.

I stayed at Grand Midwest for a weekend. I have stayed here before and I like the location. It is in the heart of Dubai and very convenient to get around. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. The hotel is OLD. The rooms are really large. The bed was clean and comfortable. The rest of the furniture in the room was awful, really really […] awful. The electricals seem rather unsafe, they force a 220v round-pin appliance into a UK-240v socket without using a pin-type converter. They have 24 hour room service, I only ordered toast and tea. Bottom Line: Clean and Cheap "Bed" in the city center. I have stayed here about three times, and while the customer service has greatly improved, the rest of the hotel could do with being renovated. Arrival and check in was smooth until I got into the room, the bathroom is usually the first place I go to and it was disgusting, the tub was dirty and stained with soap scum, the room look shabby and the air was controlled in the room next to us, so the first night was HOT. The 2nd day we tried to change rooms and were told we had to wait till 1pm […] ish, which meant we should stay in the hotel rather than enjoy Dubai, so I asked if I could do it later, later when we got back, the rude receptionist said there was no room reserved for us, that was a freezing cold night as the room next door cranked up the air. day 3 i tried their internet which did not work for a minute and since i had logged in, which it let the, and could not log out, the receptionist/ IT/ Valet organizer suggested I had to pay for it as 30 mins had elapsed while she tried to rectify why I could not use the wireless in my room and offered I use the remaining 30mins at the lobby and pay for the hour! Nice facility. Long for longer term stays. Limited in room cooking facilities, cookware, flatware & cutlery provide in room. Room was clean without smoke smell (N/S Room). Be careful about extending stay... manager quoted me over triple the rate I reserved at for 1 more night. Our stay at this hotel was was a total mess as we had reserved 3 rooms. The smell of all hallways and lobby was Indian food. TV did not work properly. rooms were not clean enough. One bed had bugs in it. One room had the thermostat not working at all and they did not fix it. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. The only thing that was positive […] about the stay was the location of the hotel close to Burjuman mall. Everything else was terrible. The service is very Spartan if not dsimissive. The people at the frint are young and not attentive. TV did not work and Internet was unreliable. I asked for credit and was refused. The facilities are clean.

The bedrooms are large and the bedding very good. But it neats maintenance. Internet is expensive. But I would most likely stay there again. Good value for the money. And the staff are helpful.

Overall, the hotel met and exceeded all expectations. The room was large and clean with a spotless refrigerator and nice kitchenette. There was a small leak in the bathroom that was repaired immediately. The location was idea - walking distance to the Old Souk near the Dubai Creek and very close to the Metro to in order to go to the downtown business […] district. I would certainly stay at Grand Midwest again and would recommend it to friends. Additionally, I needed to stay an extra evening - and they gave me the room at the booking rate of Hotels.com, so this was really appreciated. The bed was extremely hard. If you are coming from home, you can bring a mattress pad or do like I did and ask for extra blankets and use them as a mattress pad. The hotel was very clean.We had a 2 bedroom suite. One bedroom had a king size bed, tv, and private bath, and the other had 2 twin beds and a nice balconey. There was a kitchen with refrigerator, […] stove with 2 electric burners (the oven and gas burners didn't work because they don't have gas), a small washer / dryer, a living room.and cookware and place settings for 4, a dining room, 2 full bathrooms, and a balcony in the small bedroom and a tv in the living room and the big bedroom. There was a full gym on the top floor, a sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi, which you have to get them to turn on the power to, and a great pool on the roof. It was very convenient, just a half block from the metro and close to plenty of restaurants, including one in lobby, plenty of shopping, night clubs, and a mall. We did the Dune Bashing, rode a camel, saw belly dancers, smoked skeesha(mint),had a feast, held a hawk, did a tour of the city, and Wild Wadi Water Park, which is more geared to small children than the other water parks. We arranged those through the hotel. Those were great. We went to Mall of Emirate, where ski Dubai is at, but it was real small and not worth the money. We went to Mall of Dubai so I could get a Harley shirt, ate, and watched the dancing fountains between it and the world's tallest building. It's a must see in Dubai.It was almost magical, it was so pretty. We went to Jumeriah Beach Park on the Arabian Gulf at the ocean. Beach loungers and umbrellas are available for hire or you can park with a towel under the shade of a palm tree. Lifeguards man the beach year round. Jumeirah Beach Park is open seven days a week between 7 am and 10:30 pm. It can get crowded on the weekend. Monday is Ladies Day, which means women and children only. Generelt var vi meget tilfredse med selve hotellet. Servicen fra medarbejderne i receptionen var dog meget svingende, og de havde generelt mere travlt med at sidde og spille spil, en at servicere gæsterne. Når det så er sagt, så havde vi ikke nogle alvorlige problemer der reelt krævede deres opmærksomhed. Hotellet ligger meget "centralt" lige hvor […] de 2 metrolinjer krydser hinanden. Отель нам очень понравился, отдыхали большой компанией и взяли апартаменты с 2 спальнями. Цена соответсвует качеству. Расположение удобное, близко от метро, от торговых центров. До моря добирались на такси, очень дешево.

Looks OK, and also actually OK, but when I opened refrigerator cockroach crawling about. Location is nice, bed sheet changed but not clean and dishes, knife, spoon not washed. I don't want recommend this hotel.

Hotelli, johon takseillakin vaikeus löytää. Joskin sijainti mukavan kävelymatkan päässä monista nähtävyyksistä ja metroasemasta. Ensivaikutelma hotellista jo eteisaulasta lähtien oli se, että kannattaisi päivittää nykyaikaan eli pieni pintaremontti- ja stailaus olisi paikallaan. Eteisaulan, ruokailutilan niin kuin huoneenkin kalustus jo parhaimmat päivät […] nähneet. Huoneemme oli iso Studio Room, mutta sijainti erittäin huono. Ensimmäinen kerros ja näkymä ikkunasta jotain, jota ei voi edes kuvata, peltikattoa ja betoniseinää. Ilmasta ei tietoa, jos et kurkottanut ikkunasta ulos. Siis verhot ikkunassa koko ajan. Jokainen hissin pimpotus grand floor:lle rekisteröitiin huoneessa. Myös ääneneristyksessä muutenkin olisi toivomisen varaa, koska ovien sulkeminen, suikun, vessan vedot sekä keskustelu huoneissa kuului liian selvästi läpi. Alimmassa kerroksessa vielä moskeija, niin... mitä aamulla klo 6, herätys vaikertelevaan valitukseen. Huoneessa kalustus kannattaisi tarkistaa, kun pöytälevy täysin irtonainen ja oli varottava, että ei putoa. Kaapin ovi roikkui yhden saranan varassa, muut saranat irti, mutta kenelläkään ei ole olut aikaa korjata. Aamiaistila ja -taso oli aivan muuta kuin kuvista antaa ymmärtää. Yleisvaikutelma aamiaistilasta oli likainen ja tunkkainen. Mielestäni ei täyttänyt esitteessä annettua kuvaa. Samoin toimintaprosessit henkilökunnan puolelta hakusessa, asiakkaana ei aina tietänyt, mitä minäkin aamuna vaaditaan. Maksullinen nettiyhteys oli, mutta kallis. Saunatilat olivat ok ja saimme nauttia suomalaisesta saunasta (FinnSauna), joskin suihkun paineet eivät riittäneet enää 7. kerrokseen kuin nimeksi. Hotellissa mukava rentoutumispiste (=hierontapalvelu) 7. kerroksessa. Mahdollisella seuraavalla Dubain käynnillä ei hotellivalintani ole Grand Midwest Hotel Apartments. Continua a leggere

IKKE book rom på dette hotellet. Badene er fulle av fukt og mugg. Selvfølgelig da med tilsvarende kakkerlakker. Når en klaget på lukt og mugg ble betjeningen sure og var lite villig til å gjøre noe med problemet. Etter en vannlekkasje fra taket på badet midt på natten, var løsningen deres å legg et håndkle på gulvet. Fikk ikke en gang tilbud om nytt […] rom. Vi sjekket ut av hotellet etter 1 natt!!! Très mauvais service, j'ai du faire intervenir mon agence pour avoir les prestations réservées. Propreté de la salle de bain désastreuse, petit déjeuner à oublier, heureusement il y a un bon petit restaurant avec terrasse à 2 min. Keittiössä liian vähän astioita (ei hellaa, vain ruosteinen keittolevy) Ei kahvinkeitintä Siivooja vei joka päivä pyyhkeet mutta ei tuonut uusia tilalle, joului kerjäämään Samoin vessa paperia ei tuotu lisää pyytämättä. Mainoksessa luvattiin pyykkikone ja kahvinkeitin mutta ei niitä ollut. Hotellin sijainti hyvä. Respassa oltiin kohteliaita Piccolo […] kohtelias, hänelle plussaa. l'hotel en lui meme est asez bien situe il est juste derriere le borj juman mol mais a l'interieur de l'hotel c'est autre chose .les chambres sont spacieuse mais le ménage set tres mal fait la nourriture est dégueulasse le service est nul .la piscine est en vérité une pataugeoire .voila quoi je ne le recommande a personne.

Hotellet har sikker været 4-stjernet på et tidligere tidspunkt. Især badeværelserne er meget slidte. Service er OK.

I stayed in the hotel early October 2011. I should have believed the comments previous guests had left on this site. The location was ok because the metro was near and it took us straight to the airport. The room was quite small and the furniture old. We found a dirty drinking class from our cupboard. They were still in the middle of making our room […] when we checked in and just as we had showered and getting dressed a guy from housekeeping walks in using his own key to bring a new light bulb to us. He only knocked on the door once and didn't bother to wait for a answer. The headboard of our bed had two disgusting stains on it and the curtains were dirty. The breakfast buffet didn't work well at all. The Scrambled eggs I ordered got given to someone else and by the time I would have been ready to have some fruit salad they had already put it away. There are other places to have breakfast nearby and I wouldn't recommend this one. Continua a leggere

Ok hotel, men lidt mangel på inventar. Der var pander i skabet, men ingen kogeplader. Der stod med balkon, den så vi heller ikke. Personalet var super søde, og hjalp hvor de kunne, og rengøringen var i top.
