hotel comodo per esplorare Valletta, e come tale lo consiglierei, ma per lo standard della pulizia in camera e per la terribile colazione lascia davvero a desiderare.

posizione strategica per chi vuole visitare La Valletta e Malta ad un passo dal centro storico , ad un passo dalla stazione autobus che collega tutti i villaggi alla capitale. Consiglio recatevi a Malta durante le celebrazione del salvataggio al naufragio di San Paolo di solito il 10 di febbraio . Ci siamo trovati bene, il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. La cena a buffet è molto valida. La posizione ottima per chi vuole visitare Valletta. Meno buona la viabilità della zona e per arrivare all'hotel autonomamente con l'auto è stato complicato....con i mezzi pubblici non ci sarebbero stati problemi, la fermata del bus è a 50 metri...

Un receptionist estremamente gentile, l'hotel è in una posizione centralissima e realmente molto comodo. Il quartiere è buono e nelle immediate vicinanze dell'hotel ci sono ristoranti, pub e caffè per tutte le tasche.

Questo hotel ha una posizione davvero strategica, centrale e con una vista mozzafiato. L'hotel è stato appena ristrutturato, le stanze sono ampie, la cucina è soddisfacente ed abbondante, il servizio delle camere e del ristorante potrebbe ulteriormente migliorare. La valutazione è da considerare nel livello degli Hotel di Malta (NON èconsigliabile scendere sotto le tre stelle). In Italia si trovano Hotel 3*** di qualità migliore, ma nel complesso l'Osborne è dignitoso. Sono però contenta di aver preso una camera excelsior ovvero con letto matrimoniale da sola (non so come sarebbe stata la singola!).

sono stata molto contenta dei viaggio fatto, non ho fatto in tempo a vedere la parte nord dell'isola di Malta, come ad esempio medna, che dicono molto interessante. sarà occasione di un altro viaggio.

l'hotel è molto bello e pulito, in stile tipico dell'isola. La reception e il piano terra sono i più belli, le camere sono completamente ristrutturate. Un po' piccolo e vecchio il bagno ma pulito. La posizione è centralissima,vicino alla fermata di tutti gli autobus che portano in ogni luogo dell'isola e a pochi minuti dal centro. Unica piccolissima […] pecca abbiamo chiesto un taxi per l'aereoporto e ci hanno invece prenotato un servizio di autista con un prezzo maggiore rispetto al taxi ,senza avvisare. Continua a leggere

On arrival a friendly and helpful welcome from Receptionist, who spoke at least 3 languages. Given advice on tours and local events. Given all information about the hotel in my room. Ensuite very clean and plenty hot water. Space for clothing adequate. Tea & coffee facilities and items replaced each day. On 1st floor so window did not provide a view, […] only other windows opposite. However, did not complain as everything else fine. Lift to all floors and safe baggage storage provided if required. Evening menu changed nightly. However, cooked breakfast (buffet-style) not a favourite of mine: bacon, sausages, baked beans and scrambled egg, which were not attractive due to length of time being kept warm. Cold meats, pastries, breads all as usual, yoghourt, fruits, jams all OK. A charming hotel, well situated at about 150 yards from Republic Street in Valletta. Hotel very good, in excellent position for access to main attractions. Breakfast only adequate and we ate dinner in the hotel only once - the food left a lot to be desired.

Very clean, staff a bit on the glum side. Comfortable enough rooms but mattress a little soft. Didn't eat or drink but menu didn't look great.

This is a superb location. It is a beautiful building, but the rooms seem to be variable. Ours was small, despite booking a superior room, and the bathroom was very small and only just adequate. Breakfast is a little disappointing as there is not much fresh fruit. The bar doesn't really welcome clients and closes very early. Most staff are welcoming […] and helpful, but one or two are not. It is probably the best hotel within the walls of Valletta, but we felt it could have been even better with a bit more effort and attention to detail. The Osborne is in an excellent location for walking to the ferry in one direction or to the main museums and central street in the other direction. The hotel's manager/owner is personable and helpful. The breakfast buffet is substantial, although not exactly delicious. Common areas are fairly small; charge for internet use. /Valletta is small enough that almost any hotel would have a good location, but the Osborne was close to restaurants, b ars, shopping, tour bus stops, city bus terminal, the ferry dock....The blemish is that WiFi would only work in the lobby rather than in our room. It was okay, not really a fantastic service. small room but clean. No electricity when we check-in and we have to wait for several hours to get a generator. Once the generator was up and running wi-fi internet still not running. Location is pretty good though.

My partner & I stayed here for 4 nights over the Queen's Jubilee weekend. We were happy with the hotel for our needs & found them very welcoming. The nice man behind the reception desk gave us a brief history lesson, maps & lots of practical information about things to see & do in Malta. Rooms were recently renovated & modern (IKEA feel) & very clean.The […] location was perfect for access to the bus station if you plan to explore the island as we did & there were great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was a hot & cold selection, enough to get you started for the day. The pool on the roof was a bonus. Great to be able to have a dip & sit in the sun reading & relaxing after a busy day. If you're the type to spend a lot of time in your hotel room enjoying it's luxuries then this is not the hotel for you but if you're more of a traveller than a tourist then this hotel is great. We stayed overnight on the way to the airport. Airport transfers and taxis are easily arranged via the hotel and reception is manned 24 hours a day. The hotel is in an Ideal location close to all main attractions in Valetta. There was a pleasant pool and seating area on the roof.

We chose the Osborne Hotel from its reviews and expected it to be a superb accomodation for a 4 night stay. Sadly, it was not what we expected.

Chosen from the internet the Osborne was a very pleasant surprise. Centrally located and pleasant and most obliging staff. Breakfast was adequate and the option to dine in was a bonus. The only negatives I found were the tiny size of the shower enclosure and the cost and availability of wifi.

The staff were friendly and helpful; the breakfast was excellent; the location great (next to the fine arts museum and a short, mostly flat walk from the islands main bus terminal - be warned though, buses stop at 11pm except on Friday and Saturday nights, and a taxi from the night-life (St Julian's) could be €20). If you want to see cultural sights, […] or like to be home by 11pm, it is a great base. For a summer booze-fest you might be better off in St Julian's where something is always open. I liked the art prints in the rooms and the hallways were spacious (unlike the staircase). However I have to agree with previous reviewers that some rooms have small showers. As in a one foot wide door opening, which is narrower than me, and small enough that I could not bend over to touch my toes. Fortunately after I explained my problem the manager generously put me into a room with a larger bathroom, which was very pleasant; but I can see that that might be not so straightforward in the busier summer months. That is the reason I have knocked a point off the comfort of my room, to reflect that although the room I stayed in was very comfortable (at least 4), the original room was not (in that one aspect). On the high floors, I did hear noise from machinery, and also from the adjoining room (who turned the TV down once asked, thankfully) so the sound insulation is not ideal. But this did not disturb me as much as in some other hotels. Continua a leggere

A basic hotel, but superbly located in a quiet part of Valletta. The room was small and functional, but adequate. The restaurant was excellent and very good value. The staff were attentive and helpful; one went to quite a bit of trouble to help me find a tour.

Great and helpful staff! They helped us a lot and were always available. The hotel was very clean and comfortable (and cute!). It was close to shopping, restaurants, and the bus station. We loved it!

The location, just a few minutes walk inside the City Gate, was why I chose it, and it was excellent (especially as the bus station is just outside the City Gate), and with several very pleasant local restaurants in the same street. Staff and service was fine, except for one morning when they were short-staffed and the breakfast buffet was somewhat […] slow in being replenished - they did apologize (unprompted). My only slight reservation was that the bathroom was very small - I've seen bigger on 30 foot yachts! But it was usable with care. I had a standard twin-bedded room; it might be worth giving them a ring and asking whether there are any rooms with bigger bathrooms, if this would be a problem to you. Also (I was warned about this!) don't even think of going there by car! It's on a narrow one-way street, and the taxis have to go all round everywhere to get in and out - you can't really park rental cars in the City anyway. If you have a car, ask about leaving it just outside the City Gate. There's a big car park, but the area around it is being re-developed at the moment so it would be a wise move to call the hotel (their English is pretty good), to check. You could pick up one of the little electric taxis (1 Euro) to get your bags to the hotel. Note that this applies to all the hotels inside the City walls. Continua a leggere

Photos from expedia is realistic, the hotel entrance and room are as shown in expedia. Clean enviornment, good location. There is 2 nice restaurants just opposite the hotel. Had a really good trip staying in this hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Room was really comfortable and we were lucky to get one at the back that looked out over the roof tops to the harbour. Breakfast was OK with cereal, fruit , yoghurt, fresh bread, juice and coffee plus a small hot buffet. Evening meal was served from the buffet and probably best if you were first in (!) […] but very good value (3 courses for £10). However there are lots of good restaurants in Valletta and everywhere is easy walking distance. Hotel location is very convenient and quiet and I would reccommend anyone going to Valletta to stay inside the old city walls. From the Osborne you can get to the bus station or the Sliema ferry in 10 minutes. All in all a nice hotel and we would certainly stay there again. Continua a leggere

I already knew that Valletta has some steep streets because I have a friend who lives across the street from the Osborne. I was gratefull to know the least tiring pedestrian routes tp Republic Street and the bus terminal. The Osborne seemed like home from day one.

There are not many hotels in Valetta proper. The Hotel Osborne is right in the city, just a few blocks from the sights and restaurants. We were generally happy with the hotel, particularly its location and price, except for the chaotic and lengthy check-in and the fact that neither the wi-fi nor the hair dryer worked.
