Prendendo come riferimento la Place Bab Taghzou, e seguendo le indicazioni del riad a fianco, non avrete problemi a raggiungere questa sistemazione così tipica...la cosa migliore:la proprietaria, che con il suo francese perfetto e affascinante vi saprà dare ogni tipo di consigli e informazioni, nel nostro caso sempre ottimi. Fantastica colazione marocchina, ospitalità impeccabile. Unico neo: la nostra camera aveva una finestrella dietro la testiera del letto che dava su un vicolo parecchio movimentato (durante il giorno). Consiglio questo riad a chiunque ami una vacanza genuina e originale: siamo nel cuore della medina e qui si tocca con mano la vita di chi la abita. Per cogliere il vero spirito di questa cultura, è qui che bisogna venire. Da provare, assolutamente. Per non portare a casa ricordi scontati!

Abbiamo trovato un ambiente accogliente e sia il titolare che il personale sono persone molto ospitali e disponibili. La posizione è molto comoda e a un prezzo competitivo, purtroppo per come è fatta Marrakech tutta a vicoletti è arduo trovarlo senza qualcuno del posto, ma dato che nostri amici alloggiavano in un altra Riad ho avuto conferma che è un problema comune anzi...la nostra posizione dopo 2 o 3 volte era raggiungibile anche da soli!
Posizione
Questa struttura nei pressi dell'aeroporto sorge a Marrakesh (Hivernage). Meryem Hotel si trova nelle vicinanze dei seguenti luoghi di interesse: Teatro reale, Grand Poste Gueliz e Palais des Congres.
Caratteristiche dell'hotel

wifii non prende nelle camere
Hotel was clean and comfortable. The wifi is only available in reception which is inconvinient. The breakfast was not like the pictures on here there was not one piece of fruit it was mostly bread, jams and cereal. Its a 5minute walk to the new town main road and 10min taxi to main square. Very good location to train travellers, good quality hotel, corteous staff, nice pools, no noises from the street. I just didn't like, as a not early sleeper, of the breakfast's milk and coffee be cold in the end of scheduled time for that meal, the early noises of dragging bed along for cleaning in other rooms near, and the internet connection of the […] hotel computers falling every 10 or 15 minutes during the day. "Not worth the money."
Me and my husband spent 2 nights in 2 different rooms. The first room was ok, nothing great but we were only there for one night. The second night we got a room where the toilet was literally touching the toilet door so there was no room to even sit down! The room was dirty and the towels had black bits. We didn't get a room with doublebed as we ordered, but a room with twinbeds instead - Not so romantic!
"High class, cheap price"
We stayed here for four nights and it was perfect. Very clean and close to the New Town. the breakfast was sufficient and it was away from all the hustle and bustle. I would defaintely recommend it

The hotel offers far beyond the very modest price I paid for my double room. Friendly reception staff, a plush reception area, outdoor swimming pools, a very large room with AC and a great bathroom. It's very close to the train station so it's perfect for anyone travelling into or out of Marrakech by train (as we did, overnight from Tangier). It is […] a little distant from the main tourist (i.e. market) area, but we either walked to/from there in around 30 mins - useful after a heavy meal, or used taxis. "Someone's dirty pants??"
Not much more needed to be said other than the service was terrible and the bathroom smelt of urine. Also the pool only gets the sun for about 4 hours in the day and you will be luck to get into it due to everyone piled it this small are of light.

hotel staff was very helpfull. good hotel would recommend for budget travellers. Swimming pool was clean and a decent size, we went during a period when the hotel was not so busy therefore plenty of space to lounge around the pool area but could be different if you go go when busy. breakfast is boring and the same everyday but cant complain for the […] price of hotel. "Good for a Hotel"
The hotel was just that, but to really get the full Marrakesh experience I suggest a Riad in the old Medina.
Not the best room but great for the price and other hotel facilities.

The hotel was really cheap and well worth every penny. Situated in the new city It was a 20 minute walk from the Medina and the souks. The staff were really friendly and happy to help.

This hotel is ok if you are on a budget, it may have been 4 stars in its hay-day but is closer to a 3 star these days if compared to the equivalent in the UK. That said the room we had was well appointed and comfortable. The room was also cleaned every day. Table staff and room staff are very polite but do not communicate much (possibly because English […] is their third language with the main being Arabic closely followed by French). Front of House staff are far more obtuse. You get the information you desire but leave their company with a bitter taste in your mouth. The Hotel is situated in the new town, 3 miles from the old city square, if you are up for a walk then the distance is fine if your included to take taxi's be prepared to barter (they charge by the person) and prices very greatly. The pool of this hotel is small but adequate much like the rest of the hotel. It only gets 2 hours on sun a day as it is situated between two tall structures. There is a sun deck on floor 6 (which is not advertised so you'll need to investigate to find it) but on very hot days tripping between the pool and sun-deck would be a pain in the but. The sun-lounges near the pool share the same area as the Hotel's outside tables for the coffee-shop so if you get uncomfortable with others observing you in your swim trunks then this pool is not for you. We did not eat at the restaurant during the day, as we choose to explore the city, we did however eat breakfast, which consisted of croissants, coffee (american urn rubbish), jam, boiled eggs, hand made pancakes, and orange cordial. Not quite 4 star dinning by any means but certainly ok. The area surrounding the Hotel is well worth a look. There are plenty of restaurants to cater for you dinning needs and various budgets. If you are game enough within two blocks of the hotel are local Tajine houses, fish restaurants, bakeries and pizza places. all of which are cheap to eat at and we found the food to be excellent although a little bl Continua a leggere

Fine hotel close to railwaystation. Nice rooms and good cleaning. Pool area nice looking but as surrounded by buildings, no wind, so it gets oven-hot in there n´til shadow comes in afternoon. aprox 30 min walk or aprox 30dirham taxi to medina.

All in all reasonable hotel experience, felt more like a Travelodge in the UK than a 4 star hotel. reasonable neighbourhood surrounding, just miles from the old city - approx 20-25mins walk. althou was close to the new city (Gueliz) only about 10 mins from here. depends on what you want really, although its slightly misleading on the website when it […] says its 0.3 mi from the city centre - as the main attraction is the old city ( along walk) AC not as good as expected, i did complain after first night and seemed better after workman looked at it. Really clean for Morocco, short walking distance to city centre, markets, train station, bus station, nice and cold pool (an absolute necessity), breakfast was so-so.

Aankomst is prima verlopen, we kwamen vroeg aan maar konden na 10 min. de kamer al in. Ondertussen kregen we ons eerste traditionele kopje mint thee. Vanuit dit hotel kun je lopend alle kanten op. De kamer is eenvoudig maar ruim en netjes. Elke dag beddegoed en handdoeken verschoond. "Meryem Hotel, Marrakech"
Fint, ordemntligt, internationalt - med swimmingpools i stort smukt gårdområde. De er dog ikke opvarmede om vinteren. Hotellets computere er for langsomme og upraktisk opstillede i en gammel bar. Ellers fint
Hôtel calme, propre et bien situé. Il se trouve en plein centre ville, pas loin de la fameuse place ( 15mn à pied sinon 1euro50 en taxi ) et à 10mn de l’aéroport en voiture. Le personnel dans son ensemble est courtois, discret et très professionnel. Concernant la restauration, je n'ai pris que le petit déj. Il n'est pas Royal mais il est très correct […] (d'ailleurs vu le prix que 'j'ai payé, je n'ai pas le droit de me plaindre!). Les autres repas, je les ai pris ailleurs. Je trouve que les tarifs sont excessifs, surtout qu'on peut trouver de bons restos dans les alentours avec des prix abordables. Je recommande d'ailleurs au passage le resto Bagatelle se trouvant à 200m de l'hôtel, leur cuisine est bonne et les prix sont corrects. En gros, c'était une agréable surprise cet hôtel pour moi! Le pire hôtel que j'ai jamais fréquenté, aucunes propretés n'y hygiéne dans les chambres. L'eau qui coullait du robinet de la salle de bain était de temps à autres jaune et marron, des toilettes toutes petites ainsi que des chambres doubles ridicules et minuscules. Une qualité de service vraiment pitoyable, situé dans un quartier trés mal fréquenté […] et trés salle (avec odeurs et clochards au coin de la rue). Generelt godt, men hotellet har flere områder de let vil kunne udnytte og gøre oplevelsen ENDNU bedre og give dem en forøget indtjening. 1. Tager man elevatoren til 5 etage ved lobbyen og tager trappen den sidste etage op via trapperne kommer man op på taget, hvor der er en fantastisk udsigt (som man ikke har andre steder på hotellet) og hvor der er […] sol hele dagen (hvilket der ikke er andre steder (ved poolen kun fra 12-17). Hvis vi ikke havde læst om tag-terassen i andre anmeldelser ville vi aldrig have fundet den, terassen i sig selv er bare nogle borde og liggestole. Hvis de gjorde noget ud af denne terasse ville vi opholde os her meget mere, købe en masse snacks, sandwiches, øl og sodavand og nyde tagterassen til fulde. Råd: Brug lidt penge på at lave et fedt miljø på tagterassen og lav en bar/cafe deroppe (som mange af nabo-hotellerne allerede har gjort med succes). 2. De reklamerer med Hammam, men uden andre detaljer. Hvis de gjorde det lettere at melde sig til Hammam (som der er skilte ned til kæleren til - men vi fandt det aldrig) ville vi have brugt penge her også. 3. På værelset var der et tomt køleskab, så vi købte sodavand og vand til eget forbrug. Men jeg blev stoppet i receptionen med poserne og fik at vide at man ikke må tage egne drikkevarer eller madvarer med ind til hotellet og op på værelset. Jeg fik alligevel allernådigst lov, men undrede mig over hvorfor de så har et kølekab på værelset når det ikke må bruges. 4. Poolerne (og der er kun udendørs - ikke indendørs som vi mener at have læst på forhånd) var iskolde og kunne derfor slet ikke bruges. En opvarmet pool ville have været skøn. Continua a leggere
