great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

"Good Place to stay for a weekend getaway"
This was a nice place to stay for a reasonable price. The breakfast was good with a good selection of eggs, pigs in a blanket, waffles, fruit, coffee and cereal. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

This is an excellent place for the buck. The only problem was my room was too cold so when I switched to the heat part of the AC, the fan blew all kinds of black soot out into the room.

Overall it was fine....we went to Six Flags and Downtown Riverwalk....it was between both so it was convenient... and low priced. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Also...rooms were cleaned and our 3 boys enjoyed the pool in the courtyard.

We where there for a hospital stay so the close proximity to the medical center was convenient (less then 5min drive from hospital). hotel was very nice, well-kept, spacious room. The room had a new TV which hadn't been programmed. Hotel maintenance came right up and got someone on the phone who could help him program the TV. Breakfast was great.

"Not far from the River Walk."
Had a great stay. Would stay again!
The room was to small for 2 queen beds, and not had to tell the front desk to change room, due to the tub kept flooding ankle deep every time my family took a shower. I had to fix the problem myself, without any help from the hotel staff got tire of waiting and hering the same excuse after i was told there was no room available.

I usually always stay at a La Quinta when in need of a hotel. This La Quinta location was nice and clean. The breakfast was good with a lot of food variety. My only complaint is the ice maker was not working on the 3rd floor and the shower curtain did not stay closed which allowed water to run out onto the wall and floor. This was our first visit to San Antonio and we had a great time. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The only thing was the breakfast area too small to accomodate the large morning crowds; however the breakfast was good. Overall we had a great time.

Morning breakfast was excellent. Clean rooms. Minor issues - ice machine on 3rd floor would not dispense and wireless Internet was not working. Other than that, the room was clean, all plumbing worked, good sized safe, working refrigerator. Oh the AC unit was not cooling properly. "Nice place!"
This La Quinta was very nice: the decor, the pool, the rooms, etc. I would stay here again anytime!
"La Quinta at Medical Drive in San Antonio TX"
We loved the hotel and will use it again when we are in town. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast was wonderful and the beds were so comfortable. I would have liked a washer/dryer on our floor (we had to take everything up to the 8th floor), but other than that, no problems!

"Frendly Service, but not clean"
I thought the staff was very nice very accomidating. However I thought the over all cleanlyness of the room was not up to par. The bathroom had dirt and hair and almost every corner. The carpet was the same way. Dirt and hair in the corners and along the baseboard. Everything else in the room seemed to be clean. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Super clean, well decorated and maintained, as well as an outstanding hot breakfast i.e. two types of scrambled eggs, etc., including pigs in a blanket!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful and beds were extremely comfortable. For the reasonable price, this is a GEM!!!! Good selection of various priced […] eating establishments in close driving vicinity. Would highly recommend this to all. This was a perfect location for our visit to San Antonio. The room was very comfortable and the free breakfast was great.

I really enjoyed our visit. I always look for the hotels with a pool for my 3 yr. old son. Of course, the hot tub was an added bonus for mommy! My son loves the free breakfast in the morning, and I was really pleased with freshness and variety. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!
"Right For Me"
I have started doing business in San Antonio every two weeks, and this location is perfect for me. My clients are nearby and it's a straight shot into downtown, and really anywhere in town is accessible within twenty minutes. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about local places to eat, and the 12 O'Clock checkout time is perfect. […] Parking is easy, the highway is invisible from the hotel and no noise comes through. The continental breakfast is, as is everything in Texas, bigger. It really has a lot of choices and is more like a buffet with eggs and biscuits, hot and cold cereals, pastries...lots of stuff to choose from and the breakfast hours are decent. The front desk has a 24/7 snack bar for chips, sodas, and beer. The Wi-Fi works great and doesn't limit you to one connection - and is included in your hotel with no passkeys needed, and what little television I watched had a great selection AND a channel guide. My staff was good although the breakfast could have been a bit less sweet and more fruit offerings.

The hotel was very nice, room was big enough, clean (except the carpets), and hotel is in a good location. It was just a short drive to the Riverwalk, Alamo and Sea World. Breakfast was good and the 'main dish' changed daily....so the variety was good. The employees were all very polite and accomodating. The neighborhood was safe and security patrolled […] the parking lot at night, there were also several security cameras around the lot. There should be a map associated with this hotel since there are countless others in this respectively large and lively city. Spent an hour going to the exact same hotel in the wrong location, however, it is a very nice hotel. The sheets and floor were clean; the exemplary staffing made the stay there very pleasant since they assisted us in locating […] different attractions or attending to our needs. They even had printed directions to and from the river walk, which made it quite convenient. It's not just the amenities that people look for, but the customer service and the people hired there were very polite and helpful. I hope they continue to hire such accommodating staff. "No complaints."
Clean rooms, friendly service and decent breakfast. Bathroom just had a complimentary shampoo and soap but since we brought our own toiletries it was not an issue for us. Will definitely stay there again.

Hotel was excellent and check in and check out was simple and took no time at all. Location of the hotel was great, near downtown. Definitely recommended.

Attractive spread for breakfast, but impossible to get to anything as the breakfast area was PACKED with people, there were not enough tables/chairs, and not enough staff to control the leagues of people trying to get food.

A very budget-friendly hotel that is certainly better than the price. 4 groups got rooms here for a weekend and no one had complaints. The continental breakfast was good and convenient. Staff was always friendly.

"VERY NICE PEOPLE"
EVERYONE THERE WHERE SO FRIENDLY AND NICE... CHECK IN TIME WAS AT 3PM . BUT MANAGER AND HIS STAFF LET ME IN ROUND 10;30AM. I WILL GO BACK THERE AGAIN WHEN GOING TO SAN ANTONIO,I TRAVELED THERE FROM ABOUT 2 HOURS AWAY.. NICE PLACE LOOKED REAL CLEAN. THIS IS WHAT SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here at La Quinta. I normally stay at La Quintas and am usually satisfied, this stay was no exception, in fact it is the nicest LQ I have ever stayed at.

We're non smokers & I've stayed in alot of hotels that advertise non smoking, but still smells. The room was free of any smoke smell & we actually looked forward to going back each night. The breakfast's were wonderful & lots of variety. We will DEFINITLY stay here again!
