Camera davvero eccezionale, con tutti i comfort. Molto silenziosa, pulita, servizio impeccabile.Molto vicino al centro, si raggiunge tanquillamente con un pullman l'acquario.

"5 stelle ? max 4, e con servizio scadente."
Da un hotel classificato 5 stelle mi aspettavo ben altro: camere piccole, ma soprattutto servizio scadente: asciugamani sporchi, scarsa attenzione da parte del personale di piano (non verificano che la carta igienica si sta per finire, non verificano che ci siano gli asciugamani per tutti, lasciano un flacone di bagno schiuma mezzo usato da parte dell'occupante […] precedente e non puliscono bene per terra nel bagno). Inoltre la pubblicizzata pulizia delle scarpe durante la notte è solo virtuale: le scarpe com'erano le ritrovo (solo girate di 180 gradi). Ma il voto peggiore è per il ristorante: servizio lentissimo e scarsa attenzione al cliente, per non citare la qualità del cibo che non è per nulla all'altezza. "Ottimo hotel ,ottima posizione"
Abbiamo avuto possibilità di soggiornare in questo albergo . Abbiamo usufruito del centro benessere molto soddisfacente. Posizionato in una zona molto sicura un po difficoltosa da raggiungere ma ben collegata con il centro!il quale dista 15 minuti a piedi . Colazione ottimale. "L'uomo fa sempre la differenza!"
All'arrivo ci ha offerto la tessera che dava tra l'altro lo sconto del 50% per la colazione. Abbiamo deciso quindi di farla in camera, ma al momento di pagare ci e' stato detto che valeva solo al buffet perche' anche se era comunque una colazione veniva pero' considerato servizio in camera! Inoltre, anche se il prezzo dichiarato sul modulo di richiesta […] era di 10 €, ci e' stata applicata una sovrattassa del 50%. Altro che sconto! Per il servizio in camera... assurdo, come se la colazione in camera una potesse andarsela a prendere in cucina! Ottimo soggiorno, l'hotel é ubicato in una zona facile da raggiungere e le camere sono molto eleganti, curate. Alcune imperfezioni per un 5 stelle (la temperatura in camera era leggermente alta mentre nel bagno era leggermente bassa) ma valutando il rapporto qualità prezzo posso dire che é tra i migliori mai provati. "Just OK. Not a 5 star hotel"
The Melia Genova is a nice hotel. But definitely not a 5 star hotel as they claim. My wife and I stayed here for 6 days in May, 2013. Everything about this hotel is average. The rooms were clean and the service was OK. The air-conditioning in our room would stop working everyday and I would have to ask the front desk to have maintenance turn it back […] on. The tiles on the pool were falling off and i'm pretty sure there was something growing on the walls in the steam room. The fitness room equipment appeared to be brand new and it all worked. The food in the restaurant was average. If i had to stay in Genoa again i would stay here but now I know that I am staying at a nice 3 star hotel and wont be expecting a 5 star hotel. "Disappointing"
I spent 2 nights at this hotel in April/13 and it was quite disappointing. The level of service is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. They first refused to turn on the air conditioning because they said we could open the window. Only after complaining a lot they decided to turn on the AC in our room. "Excellent hotel if air conditioning is working"
Everything was so good until i realized it was so hot in the room and can not do anything about it. Air conditioning system seems not to react to whatever i press on its controler. "Great hotel - no negatives"
Comfortable room with good service and just fantastic breakfast. A 10 minute walk to the centre of town. We had a side facing room which was quiet and peaceful. The Spa was very relaxing with steam room and mist rooms. The only reason it didn't get full marks was beacause of only two very minor aspects- the PC keyboard didn't connect with the TV and […] there didn't appear to be slippers (though other guests did seem to have them - handy for the spa), apart from that great in every way and highly recommended. "Great luxury and comfort"
Really impressed with this hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, and was decorated in a modern contempory style. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great buffet breakfast. Spa was good too. Good value. Beautiful room. Convenient. Parking costs $35. Per night. Breakfast costs $30 but if you sign up for promotion it is half that. Find a McDonald where coffee, croissant and ok for. $4.00. Modern, smartly furnished hotel with good sized rooms about 15 minutes (hilly) walk from the old city. Reception is understaffed and whilst polite, not as helpful as might be expected. "Lovely hotel in a quiet location"
The hotel is in a leafy suburb of Genoa and is conveniently located near a bus stop. The hotel itself is stylish and modern and a lovely breakfast was included in our rate. A great value hotel overall. We paid a very reasonable price for a standard room and were very pleased. Hotels in Genoa aren't cheap in general and in fact this was cheaper than some of a much poorer standard, e.g. one of the marina hotels. The location isn't right in the middle of the action, but Genoa is such a small place its still walkable (15 mins […] tops) or there's a taxi rank right outside the hotel. Its location also stands in its favour as its quiet and safe, with a few bars across the road. Nice looking bar area, though we didn't use it. Lovely pool, though naturally small. All felt luxurious and yet relaxed at the same time. Our room was the most basic they do and, whilst not exactly huge, was perfectly fine and had a lovely parquet floor. Would highly recommend. "Wonderful"
We were SOOOO pleased with our stay at the Hotel Bentley. It is a beautiful hotel. We arrived there at the end of our 3 week trip, a little tired and a little frustrated. Hotel Bentley to the rescue. Sidmondie, Fabio and the bellmen were so helpful. They gave us such great service and took care of our requests. Our room was a sanctuary. "Excellent"

The hotel was very modern with a clean room. TV embeded into the mirror in the bathroom. There was no shampoo supplied. We called housekeeping to deliver shampoo, but it was not delivered. Even though the rate included "Free-Internet" there was a charge listed when I attempted to log-on. The front desk did not supply a complimentary internet code. There […] was a greak local restaurant within 5 minutes walk from the hotel - they did not speak any English but the experience was wonderfull. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, certainly not up to the standards of a 5 Star hotel. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were cold. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is a short and safe stroll into the 'center' of town in which you will also have to walk down a flight of stairs (but there is a lift as well). The rooms are well supplied, very clean and lovely decorated, the bathroom and the shower is wonderful. The room was set at a good temperature upon arrival. The front […] desk was able to give us good instructions and even a great restaurant to eat near the port which was a very good suggestion. The breakfast experience at the restaurant was really bad. All the waiters ignored us despite the fact we were there first and continued to service the Italians first. We ended up setting our own table after waiting about 15 minutes! In addition, the food was limited as they were always running out of food, though they tried to refill it (but not always very efficient at doing so).
