"Clarion Curacao"
The hotel was pretty much a standard 2/3 star place and for the price, I have no complaints; however future guests should know the free shuttle to downtown is one way only and only runs twice a day at 9am and 4pm and the beach across the street is extremely small. It does have picnic tables, but very little actual beach.

If you're on business in Curacao, then maybe you could tolerate the Clarion. If you're going for a vacation, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I was trying to save a few bucks, I'll admit. But, the Clarion is near a beach and I've stayed in Clarions around the world and they've been alright. This was the worst I ever encountered. The hotel is freezing. There's no […] hot water. No down duvet, No sofa/seperate living room/kitchenette/espresso maker/internet access/stovetop/dishwasher/slippers/bathrobe/handheld showerhead/free movie channels. It took 3 hours for them to solve the problem of my phone not working - "maintenance will be right up - 5 minutes" and 45 minutes I have to go down again. And AGAIN 45 minutes after! They finally moved me to another room. When I checked in - more then 2 hours after check-in time, my room wasn't ready - so I waited 30 min in the lobby. They knew I was coming - they had my itenerary at the front desk. When I was 20 minutes late checking out - the day after checking in - they told me I was going to be charged 57$ US. I suggested that the lady telling me this from the front desk was nuts. I'd been waiting for hot water to kick in for a shower, but that never happened. I had booked the Clarion for 7 days, but moved to Breezes the day after checking in. Clarion would have charged me for the night as a cancellation punishment. Otherwise, I would have checked out before my room had been cleaned. Actually - since I wrote this, I've changed my mind -- don't even bother staying here even if you're only on business. And vacationers go far, far away. I felt like I was vacationing in a parking lot inititially, and with the room change (to a partial ocean view) I had a glorious view of the water desalination plant. "Clarion Hotel Suites - great & best value Curacao"
The exterior of the hotel is fairly new (built about 3-4 years ago) and in good condition compared to the Mariott & Hilton nearby which we much older (from 60s & 70s) and looked dated. My room was spacious & fairly comfortable. I got a great deal with breakfast included so over all it was great. I went on business so did not get time to use the facilites […] much. Only issues was with slight mold & mildew in the Air-conditioning system which I felt in the Lobby & my room. Cleaner did not do a very good job as there was some dust on some surfaces and a piece of tissue in the corner was never picked up for for all the 6 days I was there. Front Desk attendants not friendly and not helpful Waitress' of Breakfast room need training and appearance(uniform) to be upgraded Room is clean and service is good I'll recommend the Hotel to others but will warm them of very un-proffessional service for breakfast

"Could be better"
Good location. Hotel not being old at all needs maintenance. Probably cheap material or building techniques were used. Everything is broken (However still usable :)) like leaking water fountain, closet doors etc. On the other hand room is very clean. Breakfast is complete but quality is so so. Still good value foor the money
"Clarion - Piscadera"
Found Clarion to be far superior to the Hilton down the street. It was in better condition and the staff was friendlier and the rooms nicer. The Hilton has a beach on the property while you have to go across the road to get to the somewhat rocky public beach near the Clarion. It's a chance to meet some nice locals. "Clarion hotel was OK"
The hotel was OK, but smelled musty inside: the AC does not remove moisture in the air, only cool it. Otherwise the hotel was OK. I had to repair the TV electric cord as the previous person broke it. Taxi prices were outrageous- 10 minute rides costing $25 : meals were less expensive.

Het goedkoopste hotel wat ik kon vinden en een prima service voor die prijs. Alles zag er goed en netjes uit, kamer was zeker naar wens. In de buurt is echter niet veel te doen. Verwacht ook niet te veel van het restaurant!

"Het Clarion hotel in Willemstad, Curacau, ligt op"
Het Clarion heeft een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. De ligging, tegenover een strandje, is prima en downtown Willemstad is zeker met een auto, maar ook met een bus goed te bereiken. We vonden dat de airco een wat muffe geur gaf, en dat deze buitensporig laag stond. Dit staat wat in contrast met de milieu bewuste uitstraling die het hotel wil hebben.
