"Eagle Crest Resort"
The hotel was nice but nothing extraordinary. There was no continental breakfast and only 1 item on the menu which was pricier than it should have been because it was not very good. The television/satellite TV was a pain to deal with. Hampton Inns or Comfort Suites are just as nice, better prices and nice breakfast. Next time I'll stay elsewhere unless […] I need to stay specifically at Eagle Crest when visiting a relative who lives nearby. Continua a leggere

"Not as Advertised"
The sign at the front desk upon arrival sums up the care and concern for customer service quite succinctly: "Wireless Internet not available until further notice." No alternative was offered, and it didn't appear there was any motivation to correct this problem sooner than later – implicit in this sign is: “Not our problem”. Check-in was a curiously […] long process that required 3 staff members -- none of whom exhibited the slightest urgency. The room we were assigned did not have the views or a balcony as clearly stated on our confirmation. We went back to the front desk to correct the problem and showed them the list of amenities we were promised. The staff reaction stunned me: "You need to call [the online booking agency] -- this listing is all wrong..." Luckily my husband took point on this matter and I didn’t launch into my feeling about this matter, to wit: In what universe is it the guest’s responsibility to monitor and police a hotel’s online listing? Clearly from other reviews here, we are not the only guests who did not get what they signed up for, so Eagle Crest Resort management, a note to you specifically: FIX IT – or, pull your property from these sites. We did get another a room with a balcony (by a begrudging and unapologetic staff) and a lovely view of the golf course. This was enough to make our one night stay tolerable; forget that the shower is not handheld as advertised, no HBO as stated, there wasn't a way to access the internet... Next morning I went to the front desk to inquire about a hair dryer (not supplied in our room). I was told: "We don't just assume..." meaning: it is up to the guest to make the effort to acquire this basic amenity. Bathroom products were surprisingly low-end and didn't offer body wash or conditioner at all. This "resort" needs a crash course in guest relations and needs to take the time to look at their service and services from a guest perspective. Meanwhile: buyer beware when booking this property! "Sorry Eagle Crest"
WE were sorry we stayed at Eagle Crest. We were put in a basement room looking up at the parking lot. Our room lacked basic amenities such as an iron and a hair dryer. Much of the hotel was being redone. The restaurant was awful- both the food and the service. The next night we stayed at another Wyndham resort and the room was the same floorplan, furnishings, […] etc. and was beautiful so I have to blame the management at Eaglecrest. Continua a leggere
"Eaglecrest in Redmond, OR"
Hotels.com represented the room as having a microwave and fireplace but neither of them were present. Also some electrical updating of bedside lighting was done during my absence without notification that workers would be present. Instructions on DVD player not correct. Spartqn room and lounge but bed very comfortable.
"No fireplace"
Hotels.com shows that all rooms have fireplaces, microwaves and utensils. This is not true, only suites have those features.
"EAGLE CREST RESORT"
The location is nice and onsite restaurants are good. The room reminds me of a Motel six and not set up for business travelers. The hotel advertized balconies in evry room and that turned out to be only true for the 3rd floor which belongs to adifferent hotel. If their prices were lower it would be a good deeal. The price is too $$$ much for the room […] you get at a resort. Continua a leggere
"our stay"
our stay was just for 1 night but i have been here quite a few times. they are doing construction right now so the lobby is closed. no restaraunt in the main hotel which was fine. but, the rooms are being renovated. the new rooms had no iron, no hairdryer or fan in the bathroom. it would be really nice to have those things. also, the check in process […] could be smoother. the ladies didnt know what was going on. :( but the resort is fun and i would stay again for sure. "Great Hotels .com stay"
This place was wonderful. Not only the room but the tennis courts, pools, and restaurants were all terrific.
"Eagle Crest hope for remodel!"
This hotel needs a serious update. The rooms are tired. The staff was wonderful. I used all of the fitness facilities and did some hiking. Central Oregon is gorgeous. Not much nearby but Bend has tons to offer.
"Probably nicer in summer than winter."
Although a Trendwest owner here, we opted to purchase a one room suite so we could bring our dogs. The room was located on the ground floor with a slider which was perfect for pets. We knew there was only one bedroom with a King (my elderly parents used) and we would sleep on the pull out sofa. OK, so we were prepared for a not so perfect arrangement […] but the sofa was absolutely the worst! Do not plan on sleeping on it - you can't. Old, flat and you can feel every spring and support bar. We ended up pulling cushions off the comfy Morris chair for me to sleep on the floor and my husband slept on the couch not pulled out. Not the best, but it worked. The free breakfast is very average. Costco pastries, apples, oranges, bananas, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, unedible oatmeal (yup, it was library paste consistency) coffee and tea. It think that was it. You get two breakfasts per room so if there are 4 of you - too bad. Room had a microwave and fridge in it though. The grounds are very nice and the Christmas light show was excellent all over the resort. There is a nice restaurant (we did take out from there one night and it was very good), with a bar and a small store is on-site. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Expect minimal room cleaning during holiday stays however. Usually fine except when 4 people and 2 dogs are sharing a one bedroom unit. We found a really good Chinese restaurant in Redmond about 10 minutes away - Cindy's. Highly recommended - really nice people and some of the best chinese outside of San Francisco! Continua a leggere
"Not what I expected"
I would like to compliment the friendlness of the staff, but unfortunately that was the only possitive part of this stay. I was traveling on business and when I found that Eagle Crest had hotel rooms, being an owner in Worldmark/Wyndham I felt that this would be a nice place to stay. The resort is beautiful and I am sure where the "owners" stay is better […] but for a hotel to be rated as over 3 stars it didn't live up to the rating. This would be comparable to an older Best Western...clean but not over the top. Breakfast was a whole other topic...It was included in our stay and we were told it was a buffet. This consisted of grey scrambled eggs, frozen hashbrowns that had been mushed together and slightly burned, Costco muffins sliced in half and oatmeal...To say the least we went elsewhere and spent money for a breakfast that was edible. Not impressed at all if this was part of the price we paid for our room! Continua a leggere
Eagle Crest hotel was very nice especially with all the amenities available throughout the whole resort. The pools were nice, and the bike trails were great to take the kids on. (some steep hills though) We will definitely be back.
We stayed two nights (one full day). So could not use all facililties. Seemed like a very good place for a family vacation. Rigde golf course was in very good codition I enjoyed the round I played.
"Eagle Crest in Redmond OR"
This place was fairly nice. Our room was easy to get to, and since we had a little dog with us, we were glad they were a pet-friendly hotel! The rooms seems a liitle tired, and even though it was a smoke-free room, it had a slight smell to it. I accidently left my pillow there, and I never heard from the hotel about that...never got it back =(
"Eagle crest, lots to do"
They provided a major list of activities and things to do. Swimming, tennis racketball, weight room table tennis, game room and tanning beds. A selection of golf coures. Something fo everyone. Highy recommend
"Great Vacation..."
Aside from the breakfast food, this is a great family get away. There are a lot of family oriented activities on site. Both Bend and Sisters, OR are a quick drive away. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious...nothing fancy but it served it's purpose. There is so much to do on the grounds there is no need to be inside anyway.
"Eagle Crest Resort Hotel"
PROS: Very nice, relaxed resort. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice bed & bedding & towels. Reasonably priced services, food & amenities. Gorgeous area, resort maintains natural surroundings & wildlife. All 3 golf courses are fabulous. Massage was awesome. Good running/walking trails, especially along the Deschutes River. CONS: Included breakfast is […] very limited: oatmeal, bland scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, watery OJ - not my thing...Quality of fixtures, drawers & cabinets on the low end. Visible mismatched patchwork on fixes, common in both suites that we stayed in. (ie, pink patch on green carpet; white laminate patch on brown cupboard.) Continua a leggere
