Citadines Shanghai Jinqiao Sciangai

This is the second time we stayed in Citadines. We like the convenient location and the spacious apartment styled room. As we were traveling with our 5 months old son this time, it was very handy to have the kitchen and lounge. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Hotel is located in a superb location and has a good standard of cleanliness overall. Some improvements they could consider: 1) Breakfast voucher : Instead of issuing a voucher for only 1 person, perhaps they could consider eg. issuing 4 days of 3 vouchers per day for 3 guests with total stay of 12 days. 2) Twin beds instead of only queen sized bed. […] 3) Availability of wi-fi in rooms instead of only at hotel lobby. Citadines offers small apartments with kitchen for basic cooking. This includes oven, microwave, pots and pans etc. All excellent but we wanted to have a business meeting with invited guests and were told the meeting rooms were not open at the weekends. Excellent location close to Nanjing Road, down to the Bund, and close to the train station at People's Square (5 min stroll) which can be taken to the airport or Maglev. Quiet, quality and safe neighbourhood. Affordable prices, great service, great comfort. Will certainly go again.

I will not return

An average hotel experience; Up to satisfaction but a bit plain as there's not much travel info from the reception. Just so so.

I stayed one night and it was good. It was a little bit hard to find but was close to the metro station. People were nice and the room was very clean.

This was not a four star hotel. I would rate this 2.5 at best. Compared to other surrounding hotels this should not be considered a 4 star. The rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. The tile is a pink hue that makes it feel even more outdated. We had mold in our shower and a leaky shower. The location is great and that's what you're paying for. The […] bedding was really stiff and hard with only two pillows. If you wanted additional pillows or blankets, it was really cold in Shanghai, you had to pay an additional fee. Within walking distance to the main shopping street - nanjing dong lu - and ren min guang chang. Convenient to get around. Room is quite basic and good for families since it is a serviced apartment. However, the breakfast is not nice and not worth paying for, if you have to top up for additional pax.

Hotel is in a great and safe location. Included breakfast is a great plus. No workout room, but wifi access for free in lobby is good

I stayed at Citadines Shanghai Jinqiao and the best part without a doubt was the location. Could not have been better and about 5 mins walk from Peoples Park station. Also had a Starbucks and 7 elven handy. Also great was having access to a laundry. Cleaning staff very effiicient and friendly. Front office was good too. Yes furniture in room are a […] bit dated but for the location and price this was perfectly acceptable. This is more a business hotel hence you shouldn't expect too much help when you want to book tours etc.

The hotel is near to Shanghai Ren Ming Guang Chang MTR station, which makes traveling to anywhere else convenience. Pro: Near to Nanjing Pedestrian Walkway for shopping. Perfect location for those who are looking for proximity to Nanjing Rd. Nice and welcome change from hotel environment-we had a suite. After several days of hotel accomodation in China it was great to be in a place that was like a home away from home. Front desk staff fluent in English which made things much easier.

Great location, near to Metro station and to eating places. Nice, comfortable rooms.

Good value - great location and very large room. Would definitely recommend to others. Note - we booked for 2 nights but only got breakfast for 1 night (made up of 2 individual vouchers).

The kitchenette is a wonderful thing to have if you are planning on staying for a couple of days.

Generally a fairly nice hotel. The rate is priced accordingly. Staff are attentive and friendly. Rooms are spacy and clean but the bathroom can do with a little attention. Carpets along the corridore is a little dated. Inernet is free which is a good thing. Breakfast is pretty average, not much selection, no bake beans which is a little disappointing […] and the strange thing is one breakfast voucher per room. Citadines is more like a service apartment as the room we stayed in comes with a separate lounge room and fully equipped apartment styled kitchen. The lounge room itself was also fitted with a sofa-bed which was big and comfy, suitable for families or parties of 3+. For shanghai, this hotel offered rates during my stay which I consider to be quite a […] great value stay compared to other hotels which I have stayed at which were much smaller in terms of room size and with rates at least a few times more expensive. There is no sacrifice to location as it is located 5 mins walking distance to Peoples Square. It is nearby to New World, and other popular main streets such as Nanjing West Road, Huaihai Road etc. I would consider staying in this hotel again. Continua a leggere

My houst\band and I try to book a local trip thrught the staff. The trip suppose to be $160 RBM they ask for $200 RBM and no receipt was offered. The second day when we went to the gathering place there was no record to be found that we book the trip.

I am very satisfied with the service of the staff of Citadine Hotel. The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous anh helpful. The hotel is situated in a good location close to the city and shopping area. The breakfast was good and satisfying

The hotel name is long and difficult to read in Chinese and it is not well known by taxi drivers however taxi drivers know where the location is if you provide them the address Beijing Xi Lu corner Shi Chang Chung Lu. Only the heating system is turned on during winter so you will need a window for fresh air and cooling. We stayed at a 1-bedroom unit […] with 2 balconies (no windows). We moved to another 1-bedroom with window when we smelled a pungent stench (presumably from the toilet pipe located at the balcony) when we opened the balcony door. Flat iron, ironing board, hari dryer and vacuum cleaner were provided. However, there is no mirror in places where you can plug in the hair dryer. The managemetn should provide a mirror near the power point for the hair dryer. The bedroom and living room looks nice and clean but the toilet with bath seems a bit out of date and out of place with the room. Fantastic service from the hotel staff at the coffee shop. Apart from location, this hotel does not offer much. Staff could be qualified as indifferent at best. Moreover, their English is practically nonexistent. Breakfast was good.

We booked the hotel thinking we were going to arrive PVG at midday. However, that flight was overbooked, and we ended up travelling on the midnight flight which meant we arrive PVG at 6.59am. We arrived at the hotel at 8am hoping to at least put our bags at reception so we can walk around until 2pm to check in. To my surprise, they let us check in! We […] booked an apartment so it was spacious and we both loved the Kitchenette even though we did not use it much, but we did use the microwave occasionally to warm up our food. The best bit of all gotta be the free internet connection. We not only managed to use the internet to plan certain days of our last minute itinerary, we also used it for airport check-in. Certainly very handy. The only negative bit I have is that the bed is a tad too hard, and the pillow feels kinda non-existent (soft and flat) so I can't sleep on my side without feeling sore the next day. Location of the hotel can be a little quiet for a lone traveller late at night (11pm). It is not on the main shopping strip, but 2 streets up, so it loses all the buzz of the shopping area, but certainly no noise while sleeping. Overall it is a great hotel in a great location. The location and the size of the room we booked is great considering the price. My first expereince with a apart/hotel, experience was great and the stuff were helpfull. Like the location best.

After reading many reviews about Shanghai hotels, I was expecting only bad experiences, but the two I chose exceeded my expectations and satisfied all my requirements. Like all other Citadines where I've stayed, this one provides short and longer term studio, one and two bedroom apartment. My 1 BR apartment consisted of a separate full kitchen (not […] just a Pullman kitchen area off the living room) and separate bedroom and living room, and of course a full bath, with the basic toiletries (shampoo, soap, shower gel, toothbrushes and paste). The bedroom had a comfortable queen size bed and the living room also had a sleeper sofa, so this 1 BR could easily sleep four comfortably (sharing the beds of course). The property and furnishing all seemed new and were smartly furnished. My rear apartment (eleventh floor) overlooked a construction site and had an unobstructed view of the futuristic Raddisson New World and JW Marriott towers. The construction noise was nonstop 24 hours/day, but only seemed to bother me the last day. Currently, it would be difficult to find a hotel ANYWHERE in Shanghai where there is not construction nearby. It is possible that when this construction is complete, the view might be obstructed, but the apartments across the hall face Beijing Street and the small park across the street. My major criteria for selecting a hotel were convenient location, FREE Internet service, full included breakfast, English speaking staff, clean comfortable rooms and an affordable price. This Citadines scored a B+ pr better on all counts. The property is a five to ten minute walk to all of the following: the west end of the Nanjing pedestrian mall, several high end department stores and shopping malls with countless food courts with western menus, a near by street (to the west a few blocks) with many restaurants frequented by local Shanghaise, Peoples Square and Park and the metro center where the three major subway lies intersect (the 1, 2, and 8), the Shanghai Museum, Continua a leggere

我們抵達飯店時，剛好遇到飯店電梯停電，從其他住宿者得知，我們所遇到的停電是當天的第二次，我們在現場等了15分鐘後才回復正常，不過，之後就沒再遇到停電問題。我們選擇的房型是One bedroom deluxe，房間很大， 一房一廳一廚房一衛浴，房間整體感覺很好，廚房的設備很齊全，很適合自已下廚料理。每房早餐都只附一張餐卷，因為我們是住二晚，所以我們將二張餐卷使用在同一天是沒問題的。早餐內容簡單，樣式有15種左右，選擇不多但是該有的都有，有麵包、煎蛋、香腸，還有幾樣熱食、沙拉、殼片、咖啡、果汁、水果等。飯店地理位置很便利，從人民廣場地鐵站出來後走到飯店約3~5分鐘。因為飯店就在南京步行區附近，交通、飲食、逛街及購物都很方便。

Studioタイプに2泊。場所が非常に便利なところにあり、アクティブに行動できます。 また、近隣に庶民的なお店が多く普段生活する様に旅行したい人にはピッタリです。 一方で、防音が十分でない（宿泊したときに丁度、同じフロアが改装中）、トイレが少し臭う、従業員の教育が行き届いていないなど、細かい点では物足りなさを感じることも事実です。 しかし、宿泊料をかんがえると、それらの点を補って余りある価値があると思います。

호텔의 위치가 호텔즈 닷컴 사이트와 엄청나게 차이가 나는 곳입니다. 잘못된 위치정보로 고객에게 큰 피해를 줄 수 있을 것이니 고쳐 주세요. 실제로는 인민광장에서 단 3분 거리의 편리한 위치입니다. 신세계 백화점 뒤쪽으로 나오면 메리엇 호텔이 있고, 이 호텔앞의 조그만 이면도로 바로 앞이 시타딘입니다, 공식주소는 그 다음길인 베이징서로 55호이지만 인민광장에서 올 때는 이길이 훨씬 가깝고 편합니다. 아침식사를 한사람에게만 제공하는 것은 얍실한 장사수단으로 보입니다. 일행이 함께 조식을 사먹을 수도 있었지만 그러기에는 좀 부실해 보이더군요. 바로 옆 건물에 패밀리 마트나 스타벅스도 있어서 간단한 조식은 거기서도 가능하고, 신세계 […] 백화점 지하나 인민광장 역에도 유명 패스트푸드점이 많습니다. 온수는 처음에는 엄청나게 뜨겁게 나와 조절이 필요한데 조금 지나면 찬물만 나옵니다. 뜨거운 물 받아서 목욕하려고 하다 완전 낭패만 봤습니다. 그러나 콘도식으로 주방이 갖추어져 있어 좋았습니다. 굳이 식사를 해 먹지는 않았지만 사온 과일을 깎아먹거나 혹시 중국음식이 입맛에 맞지 않는 분들이라면 간단한 식사를 준비해 먹을 수 있을 것 같습니다. 직원들은 특별히 친절하지는 않았지만 의사소통이 가능할 정도로 영어가 되었습니다. 방바닥은 카펫이 아닌 나뭇바닥이라서 맘에 들었습니다. 무료 와이파이가 된다고 해서 건물 전체에서 되는 줄 알았는데 로그인을 하라고 합니다. 저는 공유기를 가져가서 유선을 와이파이로 쓸 수 있었지만 비밀번호는 직원에게 물어봐야 할 것 같습니다. 일단 유선이든, 무선이든 무료라는 점은 맘에 듭니다. 가격 대비 효용은 최적의 호텔인 것 같습니다. 인민광장 전철 역에서도 가깝지만 전철로 다닌 적이 없고, 내내 택시만 타고 다녔습니다만 기사들이 비교적 위치를 잘 파악할 정도로 교통이 편한 곳입니다. 시타딘이라고 영어로 써서 기사에게 보여줘 봤자 전혀 모릅니다. 간체로 된 중국이름과 주소를 보여줘야 헤매지 않습니다. 유스호스텔이나 저가형 숙소는 싫고, 호텔에서 휴양할 목적이 아니라면 가장 최적의 숙소라고 보입니다. 세계적 체인이라는 점도 믿을 만한 요인입니다. 場所も便利でホテルのお部屋もきれいで落ち着いていました。 ホテルの1階にはスターバックスコーヒーやコンビニもあり、5分前後歩けばデパートもあります。 地下鉄駅にも近いので交通の便はとても良いです。 ホテルの部屋は清潔ですが、シャワーのお湯の出が少し悪いのと、それから今回滞在中たまたまビル（ホテル）内の内装工事をやっていて、夜遅くまでかなりうるさかったのが、困りました。 これで静かだったらとっても良いですね。 キッチンつきなので、電子レンジを使ったり、果物を買ってきて切って食べたり、部屋の中で楽に過ごすことができました。

　タイトルにも書いたが、殆どの点で満足している。 今回は、アイロン、アイロン台も使ったが満足。厨房の設備も申し分なく、食器も清潔なモノが完備されていて感激した。更にＤＶＤ再生もできるので時間のあるときは重宝した。三回目の滞在だが評価は良い方に変わった。 　但し、二つだけ不満がある。 　①バスタオルが古いので、吸水性が良くない。そのた　　　　め、拭き心地が悪い。 　②枕が薄いその上、一つ（一人あたり）しかない。 この二つは、改善すべきと思う。 更に良くなるよう期待しています。

Cet appart hôtel est une très bonne surprise. Il est parfaitement situé dans Shanghai, non loin des lignes de métro principales. Les chambres (ou plutôt appartement) sont spacieuses et confortables et assez propres. Autres info : Internet est gratuit par câble, l’hôtel comporte une laverie (30yuan la machine à laver, 30yuan pour la sécheuse). El hotel estamuy bien ubicado, cerca de la estacion del metro people square y se puede llegar facilmente del aeropuerto en taxi. El desayuno es muy rico aunque no esta incluido en la tarifa de las noches, es economico. Excelente ubicacion. Tiene cocineta, lavadora de trastes, muy equipado

Tanto la ubicación como las comodidades de los apartamentos son muy buenas. El desayuno es muy malo y encima es un desayuno por apartamento, no por pasajero. Recomiendo desayunar en el apartamento, tiene muy buena vajilla.

Centrico, comodo (aunque necesita actualizacion) y amplio pero.... El dia del check in en recepcion bruscos y secos porque supongo que mi nivel de ingles no estab a la altura de sus espectativas. El dia que les pedi un mapa turistico me perdonaron la vida y el 7 dias que estuve no consegui que me contestaran ni una sola vez al saludo que hacia cada […] vez que entraba en el hotel (y lo hice tanto en ingles como en chino) Es un buen apartahotel pero si piensan que eso elimina la necesidad de la amabilidad en recepcion estan muy equivocados. We arrived very early and could check in almost right away - very good We had a nice 2 room apartment, good if you are travelling with chldren Avoid the breakfast though - not value for money, at least not if you like continental/english, maybe the chinese one was OK,can't comment on that one.
