Molto carino,il personale di servizio e' molto cortese e sorridente, la piscina e' purtroppo piccola e quasi sempre sporca perché circondata da alberi. L'unica vera pecca e' la distanza dal centro che costringe a muoversi solo con il taxi e che comunque non permette di rientrare velocemente in hotel per rinfrescarsi prima di cena se non si ha più di un'ora a disposizione.

A lovely guesthouse with a wonderful view of the bay close to small shops and restaurants. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. The room was delightful. On the way to cape point and close to the penguin colony at boulders. We were lucky to see a few whales.

"Prote Fire & Ice Hotel in Cape Town"
The hotel staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms on the back have a great view of Table Mountain and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. My only complaint is the pillows on the king sized bed were stiff. I plan to stay there again the next time I'm on business w/o the family.

As the hotel name suggests, this hotel is hot and cool. Stayed here for 10 days in Oct 2010. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Located a few blocks from busy streets (restaurants, bars, etc.). A convenient safe in the room. Two things I did not like: the bathroom has no tub (shower only) and has a see-through window; the price of breakfast (excellent […] selection though)--very high! This hotel was fanatastic. The room was extremely attractive and always clean and quiet. Facilities such as gym, pool, restaurant and meeting areas were great.Some may find the fire and ice lighting theme too much in the corridors but I think it adds positively to the hotel. Themed lifts are also a talking point. Staff were also very helpful.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was quite funky (check out the loo's and smoking room). The hotel has large SA 3 pin plugs if you do not have an adapter ask reception. internet worked well.

rooms a bit small,staff very friendly,not far from table mountain access,but more than walking distance from the waterfront at night . Only complaint was as i did not have my booking paperwork to hand i was charged for breakfast meals i had already paid for when booking this hotel
"Cape Towns hidden gem!"
This has got to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is new so everything is to a ultra modern standard, very clean and comfortable. Its located only 5 minute drive from Table Mountain cable car and the waterfront. And as for the food, well it was simply brilliant. Best food I ever had! And […] they have free internet. Dette hotellet vil vi varmt anbefale. Fantastisk frokost, masse forskjellige gjester, hipt og kult, rent og pent og flott beliggenhet til Long Street, Company gardens, BoKaap og masse annet gøy OG og rett ved et serviceinstilt reisebyrå ! Dra dit !
"Stylisches Hotel"
Stylisches Hotel, mit schöner Einrichtung, witziger Smoking-Lounge und coolen WCs. Super Bar mit leckeren Drinks, Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer eher klein, Dusche war kaputt und hat das halbe Zimmer nassgespritzt. Zimmerservice sehr toll, kommt zu jeder Tageszeit.

O hotel é muito bom e bastante conveniente. Só temos que ter muita paciência com o serviço, porque é bastante demorado....

"außen hui, innen pfui"
Ich habe mich so auf dieses Hotel gefreut, da die Bilder im Internet toll aussehen. Dann kommt man rein und die Mitarbeiter dort haben schon nicht besonders viel Charme und Freundlichkeit an den Tag gelegt. Die Zimmer sind enttäuschend winzig und es ist keinerlei Komfort zu erwarten. Es gibt nicht mal eine Minibar. Ich habe auch kein Wasser oder sonstige […] Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Die Zimmermädchen sind sehr unterschiedlich - das merkt man daran, dass die eigenen Dinge immer anders stehen nachdem gereinigt wurde. Richtig sauber machen kann keine von ihnen. Leere Verpackungen werden nicht entsorgt und die Lacke Wein wird lieber eintrocknen gelassen als weggewischt. Gläser die man von der Bar mit rauf nimmt, werden auch nicht wieder weggeräumt... Sie haben ein paar ganz nette Designelemente die allerdings mit Fingertappern übersät sind und somit sehr schmuddelig wirken. Die Lage ist sehr o.k. finde ich. In 5 Min. Walking-Distanz gibt es schon nette Cafes und ein paar Meter weiter auch Lokale zum Abend essen. Longstreet und Kloofstreet. Zur Waterfront sind es mit dem Taxi etwa 5 Euro. Ich habe im Hotel nichts gegessen, somit weiß ich darüber nix zu berichten. Was man ihnen aber hoch anrechnen muss: Internet ist gratis und geht auch noch relativ schnell. ;) Continua a leggere

"nice rooms > for for the suites!"
this hotel is well located if you want to be in the center of town without the noise. nice little, heated pool on first floor. The hotel has all facilities a modern travel needs. FREE internet access, rich breakfast buffet and friendly staff.
"Protea Fire & Ice - mycket fräscht och trevligt"
Nybyggt och fräscht hotell i Kapstaden på bra läge. Vi hyrde bil och det var smidigt att komma in och ut ur stan, och det fanns ett parkeringsgarage under hotellet med direkthiss upp till rummen. Väldigt fina rum, fri internetuppkoppling, bra mat och bar. Rekommenderas verkligen. Är övertygad om att det fungerar utmärkt även för barnfamiljer.
