All of the staff was extremely helpful. The food was wonderful. It is close to the city and the property is lovely. They did renovate last year and it looks great. The do charge to have a fridge in the room but it is minimal. All in all a lovely time and we will return.

Guests banging on doors late at night inconsiderate. Making noise to 3am. Not just one. Other guest incountered seemed to be rude New Yorkers or from North Jersey. Facilities need updating. Besutiful old buildings and wood work but needs updating. Great views of the mountains.

Check out too early.

So much better than we ever expected. They have several things to do and they don't try to nickel and dime you... Several are free! The kids chose movies to watch in their theatre. We swam in the indoor pool, ate a great meal overlooking the mountains and relaxed by one of their several fireplaces. Snow tubing at camelback mountain was close by. 4 adults […] and 5 kids all had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. We will definately go back! Continua a leggere

I think that the Hotel was under staff specially in the cleaning area. There were certain areas that werent clean like the gym, pool area and steps. The room was ok but it wasnt 100% clean. The service was ok but nothing special.

Has the hint of "the Shining." We stayed on the noisy kids floor. It was waaaaaay loud until 10 pm. It was great though. Nice atmosphere 3 restaurants to choose from. Pool. Food sucked in the bar area and had to wait an hour for it. Other than that, the place is great.

Room and hotel are very nice. Refrigerator is extra cost if you want. No microwave. Took a long time for hot water in sink. Shower temperature fluctuates too much. Limited parking.

Went here after day of skiing. Wish had more time to explore the activities on premise, including the indoor pool. Very quiet. Can be romantic.

Charming hotel - historic and very large. The room was well-appointed and seemed to be recently redecorated, though the heat was off when we checked in and it took awhile for it to warm up once we turned the heat on. The water in the bathroom was took awhile to get hot as well. There are a lot of kids at the hotel, so be prepared for a lot of running […] around in the hallways and early morning noise. Other than these minor issues, we had a very comfortable stay. The Inn is in a quiet, relaxing area and about 15 minutes away from Camelback, so it's a good place to stay if you're visiting for a ski weekend. Continua a leggere

We had a wonderful time at the Inn at Pocono Manor! Found the hotel on hotels.com and booked at the last minute at a very reasonable price. Hotel has lots of character, friendly service and lots to do. Will definitely be going back again!

The web and ad were so nice, many activities, good looking resort. But it was extremely different; many activities are not open. One person take care many quests, you have to wait long line. i.e. Archery. They just gave you the equipment, showed you where is the target & do it everything yourself. The arrow? Find yourself in the ground around the target. […] Many visitors said similar. The swimming pool towel is unacceptable, it is my floor mats at home. The gymn has no key, you have to get it from the long-line receptionist. No coffee machine, refrigerator or safety box. Just plain room with freezing bathroom. They don't refill the shampoo, so we have to ask again and again. We stayed in second floor, we had to complain many times every single night because noise from above us and they don't care. One old elevators for all customers, so you have to wait long time. Finally we used smelly back stairs to go up and down. Glad Pocono activity not that bad, we spend more time outside and enjoying Mt. Airy Casino activities - the closest. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Stay somewhere else, it just a waste. Parking was not optimal but overall a nice hotel experience. Size of building great for kids who like to run down seemingly endless halls.

This place is OLD and needs renovation badly. At least it is clean. The internet access is a joke, my dial-up connection from 1985 was faster. Breakfast only until 9:30, please . . . we are on vacations !

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean. The hotel is family oriented, there were lots of kids and dogs - so if you're looking for that it's a good place, but if you're looking for a quiet romantic place to take your sweet heart, you might look elsewhere. The local state parks are closed because it's hunting season - so no hiking. I was worried about the hotel based on some negative online reviews but much to our suprise the Inn was beautiful, clean. The rooms were renovated and comfy.The dinning area was beautiful and breakfast was delicious and worth every penny! The only issue was the service we rec. and the Lighthouse bar &grill. The staff was rude and uncaring. but when […] our concerns were bought to the front desk, management assured they would address it . Had a little problem with getting hot water

surprising nice....the lobby was wonderfully wonder and welcoming. Check in quick and easy. I was a bit hesitate booking due to sooo many pocono manors listed on line...but the Inn at Pocono Manor...was a wonderful New Years Eve Weekend. The staff was friendly and accomodating to every request. We stayed in the Laurel Lodge - clean and nice...bed was […] comfortable with down pillows. Next time I would like to stay in the main lodge since the upgrade are newer. The spa was "amazing" the signature massage was just yummy... I appreciated the tips were included in the prices. When we got to our room it felt like a sauna. It was 85 degrees in the room. We tried to lower the thermostat. Would not work so we shut it off. Probably would not stay there again.

Walls are so thin and all doors slam shut. People in hall sound like they are in your room. Seems ok for families, but very noisy for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Fairly clean but found hair clippings in cup in bathroom.

We had first floor room. It was extremely noisy at night. We called three times the front desk to report the noise. We had sleepless night. The Bathroom smell like skunk pass by. Reported to the front desk. The cleaning service gave us air fresher to spray and had to return after spray as they only had one in the whole facility. We stayed for the fireside holiday and had a great time, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was cozy and comfy, our down-side was the pool, it was cloudy and a bit cold, the kids developed a rash after swimming in it, (waiting to hear back from management on this), but our over all stay was super. we would definitly come again. Now for […] a few reccomendations to the hotel management...you should offer at least coffee and tea throughout the day, danish with the coffee in the morning would be a nice touch, for families with small children, a fridge and microwave are a must and you should not have to pay extra for them, the room cost enough....and lastly, a small table and chairs in the room would make all the differance....... We stayed in the Spruce Lodge which was for the purpose of having your dog with you. We stayed on the lower level and heard every board in the floor creak and every footstep of the family above us. Trash was piled up at the entrance of the Spruce Lodge when we arrived and it was still there 3 days later when we left. The building needed refurbished […] and the hallways and our room carpets were stained, worn and needed vacuuming. We did change rooms to the upstairs where it was much quieter but the standard for a clean room was not met. LOTS of dog hair on bathroom floor, scum around top of bathtub, shower curtain needed to be replaced, windows that didn't lock, main doors to building didn't lock. The location and time of year we went (October) was perfect. Not located off a major highway where you hear traffic and such. Nothing but trees and mountains and a beautiful site as the fall colors were in full effect. Unfortunately the Inn was in renovation and the dinning room was in half a disarray which was fine as they were renovating. Outside […] of that, the Inn inside was wonderful. The food from dinner and breakfast was questionable. The seafood didn't sit well with us and the breakfast was not hot or tasty. The next day we went out for breakfast and dinner. I had asked for Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and even confirmed it was ordered at check in. It was suppose to be a surprise except it never arrived. I visited the front desk twice and twice was told they were on their way and I must have missed him, it should be upstairs. I waited 2 hours before finally breaking the surprise to my girlfriend and calling downstairs to cancel it and asking not to be charged. We went out and upon returning to the room an hour later, we saw the strawberries and champagne waiting for us but it was already late so we couldn't enjoy it as if we had 3 hours prior. We were not charged though as I spoke to the front desk about it. Spa package was nice with a excellent massage session. Recommend that for those who enjoy a massage. The staff was friendly as well. Took a horse back ride through the woods and even that was an enjoyable experience. Again friendly staff at the stables. In the end, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay and are interested in staying again, except we may question about staying for dinner and breakfast. Continua a leggere

Found used needle in our bed. It was a diab needle but still says a lot of how well they clean the rooms. They were nice enough to give us free breakfast though.

The hotel was under renovation and it needed it. It had an odd oder kind of like it used to allow smoking in the lobby. The carpet in the lobby had wrinkles and needed to be stretched badly! The room was nice considering the age of the hotel but there was not enough light to read by. Glad we only stayed one night.

Perfect place to sleep, party and reunite for class reunion...You don't have to drive! Beautiful, peaceful, and great staff.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there for three night midweek. We really enjoyed ourselves. The room was newly renovated, hotel staff was great, excellent breakfast buffet for $10. we spent our 30th wedding anniversary at the Inn at Pocono Manor..It was a perfect weekend..Beautiful place..wonderful staff..great food..We would change nothing about our weekend..We will definitely return there in the future.

Renovation personnel in house or outside contracter is not very professional & very poor work ethics. I saw a lot of corners cut or personnel that just don`t know the right way of doings or don`t really care, which ever the case it shows. Nice place otherwise. semi satisfied guest

The room was a nice size and the pillows were unbelievable. The grounds need attention, the staff was pleasant. We were just staying overnight and visiting elsewhere so our stay was fine.

Overall hotel is okay. The room was big, clean and comfortable. But I did not like the service. The check in is at 4:PM and not a minute earlier, even if the hotel was only 50% occupied. There are no coffeemaker in the room, no refrigerator and the breakfast is $12 per person because they have a buffet. This is our second stay at The Inn. Our room was recently renovated, and it was great! Very comfortable bed and bedding, bathroom spotless, a/c worked great. Their buffet breakfast is great, and they have two options for dinner on-site. We ate at the tavern one night and it was very good. I thought the rooms were wonderful. The hotel was clean. The mountains were great. The staff was very friendly. I thought the activities need to be communicated better on site what is there to do. If you want a break from NYC pace this where you should go. I will be back.

The Inn has a very beautiful and quiet location. I enjoyed hiking trails around it. Enjoyed the views while eating in the restaurants. Overall the stay was peaceful and enjoyable.

I understood that this faciltiy was in the middle of a renovation, so I called beforehand to ensure that the pools were ready. I was assured by the front desk that the pools were open and ready to go. This was important to me because I had planned to spend a day there with my 5 year old son while the other half of my family went golfing. It was filled with bugs and seemed as if it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I would never have put my child into such a dirty pool. Even the indoor pool water was very cloudy and should have been cleaner. I voiced my complaint to the front desk and they told me that they would forward my complaints to management. Other than that, our room was very nice, (because it was newly renovated), however the airconditioning is very loud when it turns on and off and kept waking me up in the middle of the night. It is a very nice facility and I am sure when the renovations are completed it will be lovely, however, I should not have been told that the pools were ready when they were not. very friendly hotel staff outdoor pool was nice but no hot tub on grounds they should make the kiddie pool a hot tub,alot of activities on grounds including 2 golf courses that the staff was very nice .
