L'hotel e' confinante con la zona congressi (CCIB) e altri servizi comodi (centro commerciale, parchi). Inoltre e' vicino alla fermata della metro. La camera aveva alcuni difetti e piccoli danni (fermporta rotto, doccia mal progettata, telefono e luci molto distanti dal letto, ecc.), pero' era molto spaziosa e accettabile per un soggiorno di lavoro. L'hotel ha un aspetto migliore della camera e per questo sospetto che me ne abbiamo assegnata una di qualita' inferiore per via dell'ottimo prezzo avuto tramite hotels.com.

A due passi dal centro (raggiungibile con la linea di metro L3) e dalla stazione di Sants, l'hotel è molto accogliente e pulito (fortunatamente non c'è la moquette!).Il personale è cordiale e le strutture di recente costruzione. Decisamente consigliato

ottimo, comodo per visitare Barcellona, vicini - parc Guel - Sagrada familia - casa Milla - casa Batllò e quasi tutti gli altri edifici di Gaudi. Molti negozi, ristoranti e bar. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati molto bene, l'appartamento con due stanze bagno, cucina e soggiorno è praticamente nuovo arredato moderno e funzionale, ottima dotazione (frigo freezer lavastoviglie lavatrice due televisori). Qualità/prezzo ottimo.
Posizione.
A Barcellona, in zona Sants-Montjuic, Miramar si trova a breve distanza dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Montjuic, Castell de Montjuic e Gran Teatre del Liceu. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Las Ramblas e Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
Caratteristiche dell'hotel

La verdeggiante collina di Montjuic è stata per lungo tempo luogo di svago e ha raggiunto una fama mondiale durante i Giochi olimpici del 1992. Ammira la vista mozzafiato prendendo la funivia dal porto e poi una seconda funivia, più piccola, che arriva al castello sulla sommità della collina. La zona è ricca di tesori storici e culturali: da non perdere il Museu National de Arte de Catalunya (MNAC) e la Fundació Miró.

"The staff are brilliant except the supervisor"
All the staff are brilliant with much courtesy except the supervisor who tries to pick on her staff and leaves a bad impression to me. The hotel is great, with the tour bus just stops next to it, excellent view from the mountain peak and we enjoy much!!

Nice location thinking about view to city, close to olympic stadium. Bus 50 transports to central city, in about 30min. Closest shop quite far away. Sauna department is nice, exept turkish sauna on mens side was out of order also bubble bath was ot working on 1 day. "Hotel Miramar luxurious and friendly"
We could not praise the Miramar highly enough.It is not quite in the city centre but the location is wonderful overlooking the city.It is a nice walk downhill, to the sights in the morning - coming back it is pleasanter to take the furnicular which connects to the metro.The inside pool is great.Why ,however are the steam room and jacuzi unisex. The hotel is scupulously clean, and the bedrooms spacious modern and unusual in design.The hotel restraunt food was excellent and good value-at least at dinner.We dint take breakfast ,it seemed pricey and its nice to have a croisant in the market. "Fantastic place to stay"
Fantastic boutique hotel. Luxurious, but not over the top, amazing location. Very good staff.
Excellent place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms were very spacious.15-20 minutes walk to Ramblas (city centre) and the metro station is 5minute walk. Would love to stay there again!!
"bang bang bang"
The hotel is next to a shooting range, if you have plans to stay in the hotel between 9:30am and 7pm you should bring earplugs – yes, even on weekends! Some of the rooms are quieter, others are a total disaster. We change rooms 3 times during a 4 night stay and trust me it was not because we had a desire to see more of the hotel. "Fortuitous choice"
The location, in Montjuic, is not for everyone, but it was perfect for my visit, which included a visit to the Fundacio Joan Miro. It was just a coincidence, but the Fundacio was opening its new exhibition the evening on my stay and the hotel and Fundacio are ten minutes apart by foot. "Amazing stay"
We stayed at Hotel Miramar for 2 nights in August 2011. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from a standard room to a suite with sea view. The room was spacious, very clean and stylish. The indoor and outdoor pools are a real plus in summer.The staff is really helpful and friendly. We had an amazing time. We spent three wonderfull days at the Miramar after a cruise . Hotel was beautiful with outstanding views of the city and harbor. Very nice fitness facility. We had the Suite which had a very large balcony, including two lounge chairs, two chairs and table and a jacuzzi, however the jacuzzi wasn't working. It had a very large bathroom and the room overlooked the park. Only issue was the distance from the Rambla, […] however this was only a 15 - 20 minute hilly walk and was quite enjoyable. "The Hotel Miramar Barcelona"
Sea views from the rooms are the docks, though pleasant and interesting , The ceilings leaked in various places during rain and many towels are placed to prevent large puddles. Breakfast was not at all 5 star but 5 star prices charged and cleaning and resetting of tables close by was not pleasant. The evening meal was fantastic. The indoor pool is not […] heated and quite small and shallow, the loungers had used towels in situ so something not quite right there. The fire escape door was not mai ntained with a broken latch, this door was a nuissance and created noise all night . The room was lovely, comfortable and clean, though rainwater did seep in the patio frame. A long walk or taxi if you want to sight see and if walking not for the weak or immobile. This hotel was very nice and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff always ready to help us. The location was a little far away from all the action but it was worth the cab ride up the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. The views are spectacular, the surrounding neighbourhood quiet and beautiful. Bus transport available just outside the hotel and therefore Barcelona could be explored without hassle. We enjoyed walks in the garden and surrounding neighbourhood. A world class hotel!

The hotel is outside the center of the city next to the Olympic Village and other interesting attractions. If you like to walk to can walk from the Columbus monument to the hotel, otherwise, there is the #50 bus line that stops in front of the hotel. "Inconvenient Location and Poor Service, but Beautiful Hotel"
The hotel itself is gorgeous. The pool is very nice, the spa and fitness areas were great. The room was extremely comfortable, had a great bathroom and a patio. Overlooking the city. Location: I was expecting it to be on the top of the hill, as I had read this in other reviews. And it's true that the hotel is a 15 min walk from La Rambla, which is […] the most famous area. However, La Rambla is far from the best area to hang out in. The downtown area is much nicer and has much better pricing than La Rambla. And the nightlife is all right on the beach (Port Olympic), which is near the downtown area. There is a lift that goes from the hotel to the beach, which is great for during the day (12.50 Euros round trip), however doesnt work well for dinners and nightlife. Cabs werent too much going back and forth, but I'd rather - esp. for a vacation - be at least within walking distance from the activity. The service: Awful. Granted we dont speak the language, but the staff spoke just fine. And I know enough Spanish to be able to order food. Yet they still continued to mess up our orders constantly (we found ourselves eating at the hotel quite a bit, since going to get food was so inconvenient and would require a very long walk or a cab ride). When we received something that wasnt ordered, I asked it to be taken off the bill, and not only did the woman at the front desk roll her eyes at me, but then she didnt take it off even though she said she had. I asked again the next day when we checked out and it was still on our bill, and although the guy at the desk made it clear that the question annoyed him, he took it off anyways. There was also a huge mishap with the restaurant itself. There's a restaurant behind the hotel called Miramar, and is overlooking the city. We thought that was the hotel restaurant and asked for what time it was open. They told us the time, and we went over there shortly after the time they told us. It was closed for the night though. "Herlig utsikt over hele Barcelona"
Virkelig et herlig hotell i passe avstand fra bråkete sentrum. Veldig deilig å ikke bo midt i byen, men nyte en 15 minutters hyggelig spasertur ned til sentrum på morgenen, og en €5 taxi-tur hjem på kvelden. Fantastisk hotell med deilig mat, hyggelig service, herlig utendørs svømmebasseng og veldig bra rom!! Vi skal tilbake til Miramar!!!

Insgesamt sehr schön und gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Instandhaltung: Lampen, Spiegel, Fensterscheibe im Zimmer defekt. Hat sich auch nach Hinweis niemand drum gekümmert. Wellnessbereich entspricht nicht unserem Standard, Dampfbad wohl schon seit längerem außer Betrieb. Das Wasser im Hallenbad trüb! Frühstück erst ab 7:30, es ist schwierig vorher […] einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Insgesamt aber gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ein angenehmes Ambiente mit einem tollen Blick auf Stadt und Hafen an einem historischen Ort. Hotell Mirarmar ligger bra, är fantastiskt och trevligt med bra service! Men tyvärr saknas det där sista lilla för en femma. Vattentemperaturen i den fantastiska duschen gick upp och ner som en jojo, dörrlåset fick man "meka till" varje gång man skulle gå ut för att dörren ens skulle låsas, vi hade bokat två enkelsängar men fick en dubbelsäng... Personalen […] hanterade feedbacken sådär när vi påpekade detta. Trots detta skulle jag absolut rekommendera hotellet, och när jag åker tillbaka till Barcelona så ligger det definitivt med på listan för tänkbara boenden. Continua a leggere

"Utmärkt läge men något slitet"
Läget är definitivt femstjärnigt med utsikt över hela Barcelona och omgivet av fantastiska parker etc. Utmärkt middagsrestaurang också. Bra spa. Själva hotellet är dock i visst renoveringsbehov och är enligt min åsikt snarare fyrstjärnigt än femstjärnigt i nvuarande skick.

"Et bra kjøp"
Jeg var på kurs i barcelona i noen dager i januar, prisen var lav for deluxe-rom og rommet var utrolig fint. Servicen på hotellet var utmerket, ringte man ned til resepsjonen kunne de hjelpe deg med alt du spurte om, de snakket bra engelsk også. "Underbart 5 stjärnigt hotell"
Vi fick en positiv överraskning då det visade sig att vi hade deluxrum, hade ingen aning om detta då hotellet var så billigt. så vi hade en balkong på ca 40kvadrat mysigt rum o stort badkar. Även en högtalare som passar till iphone var super. Läget är en bit ifrån stan men vi tyckte inte det gjorde någonting då det tar ca 10min att gå till metron. o […] metro är superbilligt i barcelona. Utsikten är underbar då det ligger på kända berget Mont Juic. Personalen var underbara. bra på engelska o hjälpte till med bra tips på restauranger och uteställen. De förstod att vi inte var vanliga "lyxresenärer" så restaurangerna passade oss perfekt. Spaet var jättefint. härligt tempererad pool. dock ett minus att jacuzzin var uppdelad tjejer o killar. men det var så lite folk när vi var där så vi hoppade in i gemensam jacuzzi iaf. Très bel hotel de standing. La salle de bains est inutilement grande pour rien, la baignoire fait plutôt décoration que coté pratique.L'hotel est situé un peu loin à pied du centre si on veut visiter à pieds. Il y avait des remontées d'odeurs désagréables depuis la salle de bains, provenant du système de douche moderne mis en place.Il n'y a rien pour […] poser les éléments de toilettes, pas de tablette quand on est dans la douche.Il n'y avait qu'1 peignoire pour une chambre douche de prestige, et en plus de petite taille.Lavabo en verre ébréché et non fixé car pivotant , cela fait bizzarre.Très bel et grand hotel, mais cela fait presque froid et triste, et on se sent seuls...sinon c'est bien! "Staff en sous effectif !!!"
Y avons passé 4 nuits, très bel hôtel , mais quel manque de personnel !!!! Notamment au Spa pas d accueil lorsque le personnel fait les massages !!! Et puis bug du logiciel de gestion des chambres le 01/01/2012!!! aucune chambre ne pouvait être ouverte .... Deux heures d attente pour pouvoir accéder à le chambre .......

Var her på forretningsreise, og hotellet var utmerket. Litt langt å gå fra sentrum, men ettersom vi uansett måtte ta drosje, så var ikke det noe problem. Meget bra utsikt utenfor. Hadde passet perfekt for en "kjærlighetsferie".

"Supert hotel, med super utsikt"
Et kjempe flott hotel med super utsikt og nærhet til sentrum. Hotelet er en perle
Nydeleg hotell med fantastisk utsikt over Barcelona. Flott balkng, stort og elegant bad. Deilig , men dyr frokost. SPA avdelinga var likevel ein skuffelse. Hyggjeleg og hjelpsomt personale. Lenger å gå til sentrum enn forventa, det blei mykje drosje.

"Hotel Miramar - Barcelona"
Det er et super lækkert hotel med utrolig god service. Det eneste jeg vil give en anmærkning er deres hjemmeside, hvor premium værelset præenteres med balkon, hvilket ikke er alle af den type, der har og det fremgår ikke af tekst eller billeder ej heller på hotel.com hjemmeside. Det er lidt skuffende, hvis man har set frem til det.

Wir waren äusserst zufrieden dort, denn das Hotel hat eine einzigartige Lage auf dem Montjuic Hügel über der Stadt, grandioser Ausblick über die Stadt und abseits vom Lärm. Trotzdem gute Verkehrsanbindung. Äusserst freundlicher Service, sowohl am Empfang, wie auch im Restaurant und der Bar. Geschmackvolle, zurückhaltende und hochwertige Zimmerausstattung. Das […] Restaurant war zwar nicht Spitzenklasse, aber gute Qualität, das Frühstück (nicht im Preis inbegriffen) äusserst grosszügig, vielseitig und liebevoll präsentiert. zeer mooi designhotel met vriendelijk personeel en goede keuken. Kamers zeer stijlvol ingericht. Mooie lobby en bar met designmeubels. Een aanrader voor iedereen. Goed bereikbaar met funicular (soort metrolift) en prachtig uitzicht over de stad.

Miramar oli todella hieno, laadukas ja rauhallinen hotelli. Allasalue oli upea, huone tilava ja ravintola hyvä. Palvelu oli miellyttävää. Parasta hotellissa oli sen sijainti. Hotelli on puistossa kukkulan rinteellä josta on upeat näköalat kaupunkiin. Rinnettä alas n. 10 min. kävelymatka metroasemalle. Carrer de Blai-kadulla Poble Sec metroasemalta hotellille […] päin oli mukavia paikallisten suosimia ravintoloita. Jos haluaa rauhallisen hotellin ja jaksaa kävellä rinnettä niin suosittelen. Très bon hôtel perché sur le Montjuïc, il vaut les 5 étoiles si l'on ferme les yeux sur les finitions dans les chambres: papier peint qui se décolle, tâche sur le sol, etc. L'accueil est de haut niveau et le personnel est au petits soins pour vous.
