Our first destination in Italy was Venice. The hotel was very easy to find, right around the corner of St. Marco. Staff was very helpful, recommend us great restaurants. Breakfast was included, you have 2 options room service ( Free!) or across the street at the bar.. also at the same bar you can have free snack from 6:30 to 7: 30 PM. Thay also give […] you free trip and tour to Murano glass factory( taxi there and guided tour, way back you have to pay). Room is fine according Europe standards- small, clean, bathroom is ok,clean, bloww dryer is fine.The only downside was not comfortable beds( very hard nattresses). Overall great hote. This hotel has an amazing location, right off of San Marco square. This was our first trip to Venice and we really got lucky picking this hotel. The staff was very helpful in arranging tickets and water taxi transportation to the theater and Murano. The rooms were small, but nice and clean. The bathrooms were nice, although the shower was small. The […] bed was very hard and you could feel the springs, but I believe based on reviews of other hotels this may be very common in Venice. The complimentary breakfast was not wonderful, but not bad. We stayed two nights and we were very happy with our choice of hotels. We would recommend this hotel and go back again without hesitation. We were in Venice for a Romantic Vacation and were looking forward to staying at the hotel. On getting to Piazza san marco, we were not able to find the hotel as no one knew where Calle San Marco was ( could be due to our late arrival). We finally found the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by our Junior Suite room. We had beautiful Murano Glass […] chandeliers in both the bathroom and the bedroom. The room was very clean though you knew it was an old hotel. The Tv however was really small but since we weren't there to watch TV, we really didn't mind. The Breakfast at the sister hotel ( don't remember the name now) was ok but not great as the juice was definitely not fresh orange juice, it was a mix of something Overall it was a clean hotel with wonderful staff and was close to all the things we wanted to do. Breakfast-at a sister hotel was good with lovely service. Room was nice, very bad mattress. Very good location. On way back to airport- don't pay in advance even if told it'll be chipper - it won't!

This was a comfortable and welcoming hotel. It was very well located for sightseeing and restaurants. If we had a criticism, we found the decor and furnishing of our suite somewhat overbearing but, we guess, very typical of Venice.

Located near St. Mark's Square and reasonably close to Alilaguna (airport) and Vaporetti stops. Personnel pleasant and very helpful. Large clean room, beautifully appointed. Large clean bathroom with wonderful shower water pressure. Very adequately air conditioning. Hotel internally very quiet, but street noise really can't be helped. Only complaints […] for us involved the beds. Main bed was unbelievably hard. My thin wife actually had bruises on her hips after three nights. Making a "pillow top" by placing an extra blanket under the sheet helped slightly, but my back might never be the same. The extra bed (also harder than a brick) cannot be used for anyone over age 6 because it is unusually short. Our 13-year-old's feet extended nearly a foot off the end of her bed. They provided a discount coupon for nearby all' angelo Ristorante, which had excellent food and service. Continua a leggere

Hotel was very well located. Rooms weren't big but well maintained. Bathroom were nice however the shower was small.

My wife and I spent one night at this location that is very close to St. Mark's Square. Ton's of shopping and eating in the surrounding areas and this slightly off beaten hotel location is a great stopping place. The staff was friendly; not overly so, but understandable considering the amount of tourism in the area. One thing to remember, this is Europe […] and coming from the US we're use to large rooms, air conditioning, or screened windows. The suite was nice and roomy for my wife and I, the bathroom was also spacious. The downsides, if any were that the Air Con wasn't on in early May; and leaving the windows open only let in the evening mosquitoes. Venice doesn't shut down till late; but the hotel is built solid enough to muffle out the sounds from the surrounding streets. The bed was an European spring mattress (not the most comfortable), still I got a solid night sleep. I never trust bed linens, but everything looked clean, just old... in a charming way. We'd stay here again, but if I was staying longer than a couple of nights I may look for other accommodations for additional comforts. Hard to beat this location for 1 or 2 nights though. The Hotel was awesome, we loved the large room and it was in excellent condition. The hotel is in a great location right next to San Marco square, A 5 minute walk from either one of the San Marco water taxi stops, it is just one block over from the square. The complimentary breakfast was in a neighboring hotel, right next door, which was also great. […] The Turkish shower with Sauna was a nice touch. The Hotel was nice, smaller than we expected and the employees very helpful. The building was old as everything is in Venice so we didnt get dissapointed with that. The breakfast was average. The location was good and the only problem we faced was that we had to carry our luggage from the vaporetto to the hotel among the crowded streets.

The Hotel Al Ponte dei Sospiri is only a 2-3 minute walk from Saint Mark's Square and is where you want to be if you're in Venice for a short stay. Why spend extra time getting there from the train station area or other spots when the "action" is at the Piazza San Marco? I was only there for 1 night before joining a tour and the 50€ upgrade to a corner […] room overlooking the canal and the Bridge of Sighs (unfortunately shrouded in material during repairs) was worth it. Breakfast was typical Italian Continental but beautifully served. When we joined our tour group at another hotel (supposedly 4-5 star) near the train station we were shocked by the DROP in every aspect - dingy room being the most disappointing. If you're there only to be convenient to the train station and don't mind "dingy", the other hotel would have sufficed. I look forward to returning to the Hotel Al Ponte de Sospiri again sometime and have already recommended it to several people. Continua a leggere

Sauber, am Markusplatz, top Frühstück auks Zimmer serviert und sehr netter Service. Junior Suite mit Balkon bietet Top-Ambiente!

Vldig sentral beliggenhet. God nok frokostbuffe på hotellet over gaten. Sjarmerende, mer ennn flott. Vi fikk frokost på rommet også! Internett på rommet. Det første rommet hadde et slitt bad, men det neste var nyopppusset.

Pas facile à trouver et pourtant quand on sait c'est si simple. Personnel top niveau pour le sens du Service. Petits déjeuners possibles en chambre mais le buffet est servi dans un autre hôtel à 100 mètres : excellent mais devrait être précisé sur le site. Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel.

Very good hotel. Close to the St Marks plaza, with fantastic view over the canal especially room 352. A hotel we are going to visit again!

Put everything in context. This is not a resort hotel and the breakfast isn't great etc but for Venice this is an absolute top hotel with great rooms friendly staff and absolutely top location. This did exceed all our expectations as we were expeting (for all venice hotels) a relative old and used hotel. Value for money it is AAA.

Hotellet ligger centralt i Venedig og tæt på Markuspladsen Hottellet er nemt at komme til med vandbus og på gåben. Der er en venlig og imødekommende betjening i receptionen. Charmerende værelse med god plads.

Sentralt i Venezia, nær Markussplassen og Sukkenes bro. Store rom, 30 km, høyt under taket, innredet med italienske møbler, gedigen krystall lysekrone og mye draperinger med stoff på gardiner og over sengen. Store bad med boblebadekar. Intet manglet på rommet, vi fikk badekåpe og tøfler. Minibar, TV og klokkeradio, ja til og med badevekt! Frokosten […] ble trillet inn på rommet, på ønsket tidspunkt og med ønsket innhold. Servicen var bra, taxibåten legger til ved hotellet og vi fikk låne både paraply og enkle "vadestøvler" Rabatt på restaurant like ved. Ja hva mer kan en ønske seg? Continua a leggere

San Marco meydanına çok yakın (sadece 100 mt) temiz ve güzel bir otel odalar geniş ve bakımlı kahvaltı da son derece güzel aile için kesinlikle tavsiye edilecek bir otel

O Hotel é muito bem localizado, porém o atendimento deixa a desejar. Não tinha wi-fi, pedimos várias vezes um simples balde de gelo para tomarmos champagne, eles falavam que iam mandar e nunca mandaram, solicitei um adaptador para carregar meu celular e eles não tinham (foi o único hotel em toda a Europa que eu fui que não tinha um adaptador), o café […] da manhã não era bom, o expresso chegava gelado e só podia ser servido no quarto. Acho que eles ganham na localização, entretanto, a prestação de serviço deixa muito a desejar. Continua a leggere

Mottakelsen, førsteinntrykket, andreinntrykket og sluttinntrykket - perfekt! På en skala til 10, hvor det er det beste er vår karakter 10! Et vakkert innredet rom med god plass. Fremfor alt la vi straks merke til at renhold har høy prioritet. Rom og bad var skinnende rent og hver dag ble sengetøy skiftet og nye håndklær lagt frem. Det var klimaanlegg […] på rommet, men vi brukte det ikke da reisen var i en periode med behagelig "norsk" temperatur. Frokost på rommet - hvilken start på dagen! Bestill til passende tid, planlegg dagen og velg for all del gode sko før du går ut - for regn med å gå lange turer. Når så hotellet ligger et lite minutt fra Marcusplassen og ellers nært alt som er sentralt å få med seg av Venezia så kan det ikke være nødvendig å lete etter andre hoteller! Vi møtte en alltid vennlig og serviceminded betjening, med godt kunnskapsnivå. Noe av det beste med å bo sentralt i Venezia er at byen straks blir annerledes når alle dagturistene blir borte - en opplevelse i seg selv. Er det da ikke noe å sette fingeren på? Nei! Går reisen tl Venezia anbefaler vi at reiseoppholdet er hotellet ved Sukkendes Bro - Hotel Al ponte dei sospiri. God tur! Continua a leggere

Detta klassiska, vackert inredda hotel ligger perfekt till. Det ärnära till Venedigs hjärta, Markusplatsen, och gångavstånd till båtbussen som enkelt tar en runt Venedig och till och från buss/tåg stationen. Det ligger i hörnet av en mysig, restaurangtät gränd och servicen går inte att klaga på. Ett stort plus är frukosten som serveras på rummet vid […] önskad tidpunkt. Stort, rymligt badrum med bubbelbadkar. Sängarna är sköna och AC:n gör vistelsen ännu trevligare under den varma tiden på året. Jag ger detta hotel toppbetyg. Continua a leggere
