Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 14 feb 2013Ci siamo stati alla fine di gennaio, eravamo un po' in ansia perchè prenotato all'ultimo minuto e con un buonissimo rapporto di prezzo. L'hotel è molto carino, vicinissimo all'Universal studio (per il quale forniscono un pullman molto comodo). Pulito, camere molto spaziose, caffè e tè 24 su 24. La colazione è insuperabile (caffè,the,latte,succhi,hamburger, uova, bacon, pane e dolci,waffles,e frutta a volontà).Personale disponibile. Palestra piccola ma attrezzata. Wi-fi in tutte le camere e spazi comuni, lavanderia e un ampio parcheggio. Spero di tornarci presto!!! Paola e Andrea Roma

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 7 gen 2013Un bel resort a prezzi abbordabili all'interno del Walt Disney World. Servizio di navetta con partenza ogni 30 minuti per tuttii parchi disney anche se in realtà ce ne sono di più. Sarebbe bene indicare gli orari di partenza esatti in quanto sono abb approssimativi. Le stanze sono belle e pulite. Belle piscine, sul lago spiaggia con amache e sdraie. Abbiamo avuto problemi con la consegna dei bagagli arrivati con oltre un'ora di ritardo in camera dopo ripetuti solleciti.

The only bad thing was that Hotels .com does not accurate info on Edgewater Hotel. 1st It is a bed and breakfast. 2nd. The first floor rooms you said we would get are on the second floor. .But we did enjoy our stay very much. The food was great as well as everythig else. Charming bed and breakfast, beautiful location, great food, very attentive service. For those that complained - yes the furniture is antique. It is not a holiday inn, it is a bed and breakfast, so I find the complaint confusing. It was beautiful, and followed the theme of an Inn that was built in the '20's, which is what it actually is. No, there were […] no LCD flat screen tv's, but hopefully you are not not going there to watch tv. Not without modern conveniences though. WiFi throughout, AC, and very clean. "Perfect for the West Orange Trail. Well run!"
Well run and spotlessly clean. Originally built almost 100 years ago and refurbished lately so not modern, yet exceptionally well run. I'm going back soon. This is a perfect restored 1920's hotel, with great made to order breakfast and wonderful resturants literally attached in the same building. The hotel is charming and the staff is great. This is not a hotel, rather a B&B. If you're on business looking for a comfortable in room work area, this may not be the place. "A Breath of Fresh Air"
The difficulty for any hotel such as the Edgewater is deciding how you can be a boutique hotel without spending an absolute fortune doing it. Rooms are clean and stylish with furniture which you would have found in your grandmothers house and are, overall, comfortable. The only criticism is that a bed type which would have maybe been acceptable fifty […] years ago is, nowadays, a little too small and just a bit creaky. Having said that, they're ok but the overall ambience of the hotel wouldn't be ruined by putting in some modern beds. Breakfast is a communal affair around a large table and is, quite frankly, excellent. We weren't too sure if we were going to like sharing breakfast with total strangers but it was altogether great and is very much part of the Edgewater experience. It's also great to be able to walk out of the hotel and have small town America right on your doorstep with cafes, ice cream parlours and bars right next door. However, there's little noise and the town has been really well laid out with good and safe pedestrian access. The owners of the hotel Also couldn't try harder to make your stay excellent and the Edgewater really is like a giant B&B. If you are fed up with the standardised and souless chains then the Edgewater is trully a breath of fresh air - well worthwhile considering!
