The Heater/Air conditioner was very noisy.

Denny's restaurant not the best eatery , but it is not too far to drive to find a good one

Had to stay here for 12 days due to a flood in my condo. Staff were very helpful, and I felt safe. I had my cat with me and dreaded being away from home that long, but I had absolutely no complaits.

Hotel was in a good location for this trip to Calgary. It was close to the shopping and the west end soccer center. Room trim needs some care but the room and bed were comfortable enough and the staff were friendly and courteous.

The front desk staff were very freindly... nice to see a super clear front lobby area with general seating area for morning coffee... The BEST part was the most comfy bed to sleep in!!!! Not too hard, not too soft..... I could have stayed in there all day If I had the chance.... Thank you for a wonderful rest.

The hotel was fantastic! We had the executive jacuzzi suite and everything was amazing. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and in great condition. We felt like royalty in such a beautiful room. The only complaint I had were the pillows. When entering the hotel there was a sewage smell. The room had not been cleaned properly - there was 1/2 of a pill on the floor of the bathroom, the floors, and glasses were not clean. The awful job of wallpapering and furniture was a turnoff. The old TV hmmm. The positive was that the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the colors soothing,

We were very pleased with our stay at your hotel. It was over Christmas and the Hotel Staff were very friendly and courteous. We stayed 2 nights and although we thought we would get our beds made and towels changed we learned that the staff got time off to spend with their own families. Good for them and we were OK . We stayed at the Sandman on our way to Vancouver, and were not impressed. We reserved a King sized bed, and received two double beds. When we called to switch rooms, we were told there were no rooms with king sized beds left (although on their website it said there were still some available) and not offered an apology. The rooms did not look like the […] pictures, or the pictures were old, as the bathroom was kind of grungy, there were some dirty glasses on the desk, and the room was fairly cramped. As well, the location was good for getting out of town in the morning, but we had to drive quite a way to find a decent restaurant that evening as there is only a bar attached to the hotel. Not only does it have a Dennys and a nice Bar, it has a Mc Donalds, Wendys, Opa, Subway, two liquor stores, a rental equipment and the COP very close by. If you are visiting family, the Stoney Trail is right next to the Hotel. The Manager Chris, is like almost all the Canadians I met, a good person willing to help and very well mannered. The bed was great. Room was quiet. The only drawback was LACK the water presure in the shower.

I enjoyed staying at the Sandman Inn because it was 5 minutes away from my daughter and grandson. The front dest staff were friendly and helpful.

Just because we had a little dog, I do not feel that we should be put in a dog house. The room was not clean the carpet wa filthy and we hardly had room for our suitcases. I definitely would not stay here again. Sorry. You knew there was 3 of us and we only hade 2 towels and hardly any shampoo or soap.

Nice clean hotel, good service, but very tiny hotel room with only double beds. I didn't even know hotels still put double beds in rooms and not queens. Clean and pleasant though

We stayed here for one night on our way through town. Everything was exactly what we needed for a great night's sleep. The Denny's Restaurant was excellent. Although on the west side of Calgary....if you have a vehicle ....it isn't far from anywhere you need to go.

Very nice, clean, friendly staff, and easy access to anywhere we wanted to go.

A wonderful surprise. I was looking for a low-cost, but decent hotel. What I got was a low-cost, excellent hotel. We arrived very late and tired and had to get up early the next morning to continue our road trip, so our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the very comfortable and pleasant room!

My room was really nice but some of my family in other rooms were not so impressed (there rooms were smaller and not as nice) for the money I would probably go to a holiday inn or a best western next time and get a free breakfast.

Could have new TV in our room as lines running thru it..Obviously was old and needed up dating..

Great view of park, accomodating, here for ringette tournament at cop so perfect location. Would reccomend.

The hotel was close to where family lives. It was easily-accessible and represented good value.

The room is very clean and comfortable. There is complimentary wireless and wired internet access in the room. The bed and bedding are comfortable. There is also a TV and telephone in the room, as well as a large enough closet with ironing table. I didn't find a fridge however. The bathroom is nice and equipped with a fairly big tub. The hotel doesn't […] offer breakfast. Meals are available at a Denny's Restaurant in the the vicinity. The accommodations and the staff were great. This is a newer building, and unfortunately wasn't constructed in a way that contains noise between rooms and floors. Every time someone walks in the rooms above you, you hear it echo through your room. Noise from neighbouring rooms carries into your room. If you're a sound sleeper, this shouldn't be a problem. I meant to stay in the city of Calgary for business, but I didn't notice my booking mistake until the day I was arriving. There was zero availability in the city when I arrived and Slavka, the young lady working the front desk printed a bus schedule and spent a significant amount of time explaining the public transportation. I ended up staying the full […] week at Sandman because it was beautiful and only took me 45 minutes to get into the city and the bus was 100% ontime, which is unheard of in Boston. Except for the front desk Manager, the hotel was just OK. Nothing good, nothing bad.

although its far from downtown, it was a great hotel to stay for the night. i love the cleanliness of the hotel and the modern interior design, very elegant! the bedroom was nice too you can see the Canada Olympic Park through your window.

I had to change rooms because everything in the washroom malfunctioned. The shower sprayed water in all directions, soaking the floor, the toilet handle kept breaking, and the sink started running continuously in the middle of the night. The hotel staff were friendly enough but unresponsive.

Great service, nice people running the place, really comfortable beds.

Although we didn't go for the skiing,this would be an excellent hotel for wintersports as it is directly across from the olympic ski area in Calgary. We were upgraded to a 2 story suite upon arrival. We spent 4 days in this hotel with our kids and would recommend the hotel. The staff was responsive and polite. The room was comfortable, and it was convienent for our purposes. On the downside the walls are litte thin so you can hear kids running up and down the halls and in the rooms above you. However when we mentioned the kids running up and down […] the hall to the front desk they took care of the it right away. Also, we had a suite with a living room, so it had two TVs. One of them didn't work. We asked 3 times to have it fixed and it never really got fixed. However after mentioning it the 3rd time the hotel got a free breakfast at Denny's. Convenient location for the traveller who wants to ride highway 1. Comfy but smells funny..... Denny's is next door. Right in front of Calgary olympic park.
