Le Cheminee Business Hotel Napoli

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

Chose the hotel because it was near the airport and had 3.9 rating. This hotel does not deserve this rating -- neighborhood is undesirable, the hotel's restaurant was closed on the day we stayed, the first room we occupied did not have a remote for the TV, moved to another room in which the bathroom lights did not work and had not been stocked with […] towels, moved to a third room which had one bed side lamp that did not work and finally there was no TV channel listing and hotel staff could not tell on which channel CNN or BBC could be seen. Rooms on the second floor could not be reached with a luggage cart as there were four stairs to be navigated to get to the hotel rooms. Continua a leggere

was given handicapped room that I didn't ask for. bathroom smelled. surrounding area poor. food was good value for what we received. transportation provided to airport a plus. very clean hotel friendly staff. rates were fair.

This is a fine hotel if you are catching a flight out of Napoli. It is located close to the airport and is handy. The rooms are larger than usual and the staff is very accommodating. When we arrived by car at 7:00 - after dark at the time of year - the area seemed very sketchy, but we were very surprised and impressed with the hotel itself. It is very nice. The free shuttle bus doesn't run until 9:00 am , so if you are catching an early flight you have to take a taxi which I was told was 16 euros, but was then charged 20 because […] it was 'off hours' (5:00 am). We chose this hotel for its convenience to Naples Airport. The hotel itself is great. It's clean, climate-controlled, and the service was fantastic. We dined in the restaurant and the food was also good, as well as reasonably priced. The only downside is that the hotel is nearby a run-down neighborhood, and not close to any train stops. It's not really […] within good walking distance of any Naples attraction. However, three buses do stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is not in the best of neighborhoods but it provides access to a secure parking lot, a key in Naples. The hotel has a restraunt which was very good. The staff is excellent. Close to the airport.

They aren't kidding when they tell you this hotel is in a sketchy part of town. They have to buzz you in from the front desk to keep out the riff-raff. We stayed in after we arrived, had a decent dinner there, and asked for a continental breakfast of some sort as we had to leave at 5:30AM by cab to the airport. We were given a tray with fruit, biscuits […] and jelly, and little cookies. Very nice. Cab driver tried to scam us saying 16 Euro fare doesn't apply at 5:30 AM. Since we didn't have change for a 20 Euro bill, we just gave it to him to shut him up. Otherwise, hotel was nice. Continua a leggere

This hotel was very clean and comfortable for our one night stay. We stayed in this hotel because we had a flight back to England early in the morning from Naples airport and it is located quite close. The surrounding neighbourhood is a little scary however and wouldn't feel safe out there at night. I also must add that we ate at the hotels restaurant […] and it was superb. The hotel itself was well maintained and the decor was of a high standard. However, the staff were not friendly and the breakfast was poor for a 4star. The only bread for breakfast was burnt rolls and when we asked for some other bread, we were told there wasn't any other. The bed was quite hard and not very comfortable and the bathroom constantly smelled […] of sewage. The shower door was so small that only a person size 10 or under could get in. The hotel is not suitable for tourists as it is miles out of the city and you need to get a very dirty, over crowed bus to get into town. The surrounding area is filthy and disgusting due to the ongoing rubbish collection strike. We booked the hotel as it said it was near the airport, which it certainly was not! We were also told there was a shuttle bus to the airport...there is...but if you leave the hotel before 9am you are told to get a taxi. Continua a leggere

Stayed at the hotel because it was near the airport for our early morning flight. Reception was pleasant. Room was average...bath modern but small shower. Balcony small overlooking busy street. Hotel center has a very nice patio sitting area. Restaurant basic but good. Biggest disappointment was that it was advertised as a business hotel but had NO […] WiFi!!!!!! Well, the hotel was nice. Clean, air conditioned. Had a beautiful court, large elevator (good for those like my mother who are claustrophobic), the people were nice. The one woman behind the desk spoke little English, but she spoke enough that we were able to communicate. The man behind the desk spoke near to perfect English and was very helpful telling […] us how to get to the town square and what buses to use. He even gave us a number for a taxi and told us to tell them that we're from the hotel that way we don't get scammed. However, although the hotel was nice, I did not like Naples at all. If I ever HAD to go back to Naples, which hopefully I won't, I would use this hotel again, but I doubt I would leave the property. We're on a family vacation traveling Italy, mostly Sicily, Naples was just a one-night stop after landing there. Continua a leggere

This was an excellent hotel located near the airport - much better than the hotel in the airport. It was clean, friendly, and exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is fantastic. All in all, a great 4-star. The neighbour hood is scary. It's just the garbage piles every 100 yards that is off-putting. It's like walking through a garbage dump. We heard about Naples and so did not spend any time in Naples. We needed one night there to catch our flight on the way out of town. I didn't even want to leave the […] hotel. No english channels on television. But there was a hardwire hook up for internet. That saved us since we spent the entire day at the hotel! Would highly recommend. Continua a leggere

Excellent hotel in a not so excellent neighborhood. Very nice dining room with reasonable prices. Large breakfast served although we were leaving too early to take advantage. Would recommend it highly for early morning flight out of Naples.

A great hotel for our quick overnight before heading down to Sorrento. The hostess spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful. They had bus tickets for us to buy and told us how to get to the train station, although they could have been more specific. Luckily a girl on the bus helped us and walked us to the station. They have a taxi agreement from the airport - they will call a taxi for you and it will be a fixed rate, rather than the 30 Euros we paid. Overall a nice stay in a very sketchy area. The only caution I would express is that if you are heading to the airport make absolutely sure you understand the directions. Supposedly it's only 5 mins awaybut we missed a turn in the dark and got VERY lost. Other than that, our stay was terrific.

The hotel itself is lovely with nice lobby/common areas and well-appointed rooms. The staff was very helpful. One problem with their listing on hotels.com: it indicates that breakfast is available but no other meals, which is not true. There was a nice-albeit limited-dinner menu available. Which is a good thing because the surrounding area seemed a […] bit dicey and we did not see many available dining options from our cab on the way there. We were there only overnight and chose this hotel at the last minute from the on-line listing because it was very close to the airport. The hotel is not in a great neighborhood, but is very near the airport. We had an early flight and it worked out very well. The staff were very helpful and nice. The restaurant was okay, the pasta was good, but the tomatoes were not ripe. All in all a good hotel.

This was a great find, very close to the airport, lovely courtyard, great restaurant and huge room for Europe. We loved it!

close to the airport, but not realy easy to find the direction there. The restaurant was closed (holiday) and the the receptionist could not help us find a place in the neighbourhood. the hotel as such is ok.

Beautifully appointed hotel built around a charming courtyard patio. Excellent restaurant. A short cab ride from airport and bus station.

Hotel was an excellent location good price and very clean room, I will definitely stay there again and use Hotels.com for booking it only drawback was shower way too small but everything else I give it a 10

We stayed at Le Cheminee Business Hotel the night before our early departure from the Naples Airport. Although in a completely mediocre neighborhood, the hotel and its staff were very professional and upscale. The restaurant is excellent, which is important because there is nothing else nearby. Ich musste um 06.00 Uhr das Hotel verlassen um meinen Flug rechtzeitig zu erreichen. Ich habe mich nach dem Frühstück erkundigt, welches ich bereits bezahlt hatte! Vor 07.00 nichts zu machen. Weder ein Glas Wasser noch einen Kaffee. Das fand ich enttäuschend.

We looked for an hotel close to the Naples Airport, and we found this one. Clean and nice rooms. But it is a business hotel, so services are quite limited after business hours.

Hotel zelf is prima : veel zakenmensen, goede service, heerlijk onbijtbuffet (incl) en avondeten (goed betaalbaar), mooie rustige kamer (perfect bed). Ligt 3,2 kilometer van de luchthaven (te ver om te lopen), maar wel in een slechte buurt en aan een drukke weg. Parkeren van de auto kan tegen 10 euro achter het hotel op een bewaakte parkeerplaats.

Hotellet er meget velegnet til overnatning, hvis man har en tidlig flyafgang, men er lidt afsides hvis man skal til centrum. Medarbejderne er meget venlige, restauranten er god og morgenmaden helt ok.

Schönes und angenehmes Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt unweit des Flughafens. Der Flughafen ist mit dem Taxi für 16 - 20 Euro in 15 min. zu erreichen. Für Stadtbesichtigungen von Neapel ist es nicht Ideal gelegen (eher unsichere Gegend).
