La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

Hotel rinnovato e curato. Camera e armadio un pò piccoli ma c'era tutto il necessario. Connessione wifi gratuita e salotto con bibite calde 24 ore su 24. A meno di 5 min a piedi da Time Squere e dal metro.

"Above and beyond"
This is a GREAT hotel and their service was exceptional. I had a slight problem with the cleanliness of the room when I checked in and as soon as I told the staff they immediately moved me to a new room and apologized profusely. Mistakes happen sometimes, but how the staff reacts makes all the difference. They made it right and quickly. "Very noisy"
Could hardly sleep due to noise from the outside, and from the adjacent room (through the connecting door). Asked to be moved to a quieter room, but was refused as the hotel "was fully booked". "overnight stop over"
we were flying in late at night and didn't want to pay for a rental car until the next day so we wanted somewhere close to the airport rental car companies. The area around the hotel was a little worrisome as there was a lot of construction and it ended up being in the middle of china town, but the staff was very friendly, they bent over backwards to […] be helpful. "Better than expected"
Driving up to the hotel we were not thrilled. It is in the middle of what seems to be a run down asian neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The hotel is very clean, the staff friendly. Parking for our car in the garage around the corner was very seamless. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the hotel bar was […] already closed when we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm, even though it says it is open til midnight. Also, there did not seem to be much nightlife within walking distance. We also wanted to order food when we arrived back at the hotel and there were no restaurants open. "Never again."
Booked this room 3 months in advance as part of a Christmas present for my long time girlfriend. 1st the parking is public parking and the hotel does not have a lot of its own, OK no biggie. Then, when checking in the give us a room with two double beds, is this the sender 1940s? So when I go to address the issue the manger has the nerve to say that […] those rooms are more expensive and it is kind of an upgrade. We finally were moved to a king room but if this room is deluxe, I don't want to see what a regular room is. Its half the size of the previous room. Moving past that we attempted to eat at the restaurant but they had 90% booked for a party and the when we sat at the bar, we were ignored. Finally, the morning, I was told out breakfast was included and it wasn't but you get 10% off at the restaurant. No thank you. Worst experience ever and I will never stay at this hotel again. P.s. the free wi-fi didn't quite work out as I couldn't get connected due to "number of connections for this hotel have been met...please try again later" comments. "Marco Hotel"
Overall cleanliness and service was adequate. After reading previous reviews, I was really looking forward to dining in the Magna restaurant. The reviews were over rated. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional in my opinion. My biggest disappointment was the parking. When I booked my room, I specifically was told that a parking pad would be available. […] I took this to mean that a parking spot would be available for me as a guest. Bad assumption on my part. Parking was available in a garage at an additional $22/night. If that wasn't bad enough, they charged me extra if I left the garage and returned. What a rip off. The room size and location are very nice to us. However, the hotel is not a Non-Smoking hotel so when they over-booked, you will get a Smoking room that you really do not want. "Great hotel close to Laguardia airport"
I booked this hotel for a couple of nights on the way in/out of meetings in East Fishkill. The hotel is very convenient if you are travelling through Laguardia airport and they provide a free shuttle bus to/from the airport. In addition to being in a good location for travelling north then access to Manhatten is also really easy – the Queen’s underground […] station is only a few blocks away and a nice easy walk. $4.50 for a return ticket and you are arrive at Times Square in less than 30 mins. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and conformable and the price was very reasonable compared to many of the larger chain hotels. "Clean, clean, clean & very friendly"
From the moment we walked in the door after a mid-evening arrival at JFK the attention of the staff was superb. The next standout attribute was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was immaculate - not a hint of mould, dust, dirt or hair; absolutely spotless. The bed was very comfortable, nice pillows and fresh crisp white linen. The room, although […] not large, was comfortable with a recliner chair and a nice big flat screen TV. Eddie, the manager on duty upon our arrival, suggested we could get a late dinner in the hotel's Italian Restaurant. What a great suggestion. The food was lovely, homely Italian style, quickly prepared, very tasty and very well priced. Thank you Eddie for the suggestion. My daughter was booked to stay here again later the same week when passing back through NYC and Eddie provided his personal cell phone number and arranged to pick her up personally from the airport - now that is service! Hotel staff was very friendly!!! Very nice at check in and helped us find our way to where we needed to go at checkout. "Good for One Overnight Stay"
I booked this hotel simply because it was so close to LaGuardia Airport. After being stuck in New Jersey for three extra days following Hurricane Sandy, I wanted to make sure I got to the airport early so I wouldn't miss my flight. The Marco hotel was a 5-minute FREE shuttle ride away from the airport and it was clearly a better choice over the other […] available hotels in the area. I was a little uneasy when I was driving through the surrounding neighborhood but once I got to the hotel I felt much better - it is the hotel that many flight attendants and pilots stay at. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you plan in visiting New York City. Spend a few extra bucks and give yourself the true NY experience. It's just not the same. The service was good and the staff was friendly. If you book directly through the hotel, you receive a complimentary breakfast in the neighboring restaurant - Magna, which was quite good for dinner. The room was clean and, even though I could hear some noise from the street, it wasn't overbearing! You're in a big city and there's always traffic so I expected a little commotion.
