I would definately recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, good location - 10 minutes walk to Darling Harbour.

The hotel generally needs to be updated, both in the rooms and the communal areas. The aircon in my room was broken - stuck on freezing cold, no matter what temperature I requested.

Top spot for couples like us just passing through Sydney and wanting to sightsee. Very friendly staff and so helpful they were nice to chat to. Perhaps one or two were a bit ultra business like when hurried...Will definitely be back some day

Great location, but the rooms are very small even boxy - so consider this when comparing to other sites. There is a small bar fridge that isn't full of chocolate! The hotel was very good to get to everything,etc trains and buses.We booked it because we needed to get to the Harry Potter Ext. The hotel front desk stafff very helpful and also very willing to help.

Close to the Entertainment Centre, Chinatown, George St. Not in the World Square Building as it seemed to indicate. Small rooms.

We were checked to a room that was already occupied and all the occupants belongings were put at risk as we were given access not to mention the inconvenience to us however there was not a word of apology or complimentary gift to make up for this amateur bungle . Not good enough !

I suppose it should be expected to a degree for low-price hotels, but being a frequent (weekly) traveller to Sydney I stay in a lot of hotels in a similar price range, hence I have to say that this hotel stay was well below par. I must also preface this by saying that I did not complain to hotel management nor request a room change, so it is quite […] possible that I just lucked out and that the hotel would have corrected the issues if I had raised them. However, my view is that my room should not have been offered in the state that it was in in the first place. When I arrived at the room, the first thing that I noticed was the smell. It was as if someone had recently used the toilet to do number 2s. Just awful. I was too tired to do anything about it, so I just sprayed my deoderant around and put up with it. The next thing that I noticed was the bathroom had a worrying amount of mould spores on the walls and cieling. Again, my own fault for putting up with it... After having a shower, I noticed that the reason for the smell and the mould was that the exhaust vent was choked up with dust and hence was not working. I poked out some of the dust with a pen, and then all of a sudden the exhaust started sucking air like a dyson. After that, my 3 day stay was a lot better as it exhausted out the smells that had been sitting in the room for so long. Amazing that something so small as a blocked exhaust can have such an impact, but I do wonder how staff did not notice the smell, the mould, and the no-doubt build up of moisture resulting from a blocked exhaust. The funniest part was that I got a little warning card left in my room on the 2nd day reminding me that it is a non-smoking room - I don't even smoke! I realised then that some chunks of dust had fallen out of the exhaust vent in the bathroom, looking suspiciously like cigarette ashes. Even then, they didn't realise what was going on! Air con needs to be fixed, Room was small, Carpet was dull n dirty, Bathroom was ugly n small, Pillows wasn't comfy, Bed was so hard. My partner and I didn't even sleep properly.

This hotel was ideal for a quick stop over in the sydney, js on pitt street u can pretty much get anywhere u need to be in the city. I have clean towels and fresh bed linen every day! We went to Sydney for holidays and we spent one night in this hotel. It was a horrible experience, our room was very small and uncomfortable, the carpet had vomit under the bed, and the toilet had stains. I definitely DON'T recommend to go there, and I'm amazed that Accor has such a low level of service, compared with other choices like Novotel.

This Hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of all the great sights. However, the rooms were not vert clean. One evening we came in and one of the person in our group had called to complain that her room was not cleaned and the front desk told her housekeeping was closed!! Imagine that horror. My sink was visibly dirty every day I […] came in even though the beds were made. We only got two towels and 1 wash cloth...the lights in the bathroom were hanging and obviously a danger to me and my husband if it had fallen. I would not stay at this hotel again. Excellent location. Room was clean but slightly too small - could hardly move about. Certain staff at the front desk were not very friendly - will be better if they smile a little when serving customers.

The hotel is very well located, close to several stations (Central is five minutes' walk). Our room (a twin) was small, with tiny bathroom (shower only), but it was fine for what we needed - it was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, aircon worked well (it needed to, as it was hot outside). Breakfast was all-you-can-eat and we got a great deal by […] buying a voucher from reception - my daughter ate free, although of course they may not always have a deal like this (we were there midweek in school term-time). The hotel is centrally located with plenty of restaurants/hotels with in walking distance. I stayed four nights all the staff were very friendly ,helpful and always had a smile Public transport is also easy to access be it train or bus and the free shuttle bus service only a street away.

At first I was a little reluctant about staying at Ibis Sydney World Square given the bad reviews I read however I was pleasantly surprised. I only stayed one night and was upgraded from a Twin room with 2 single beds to a Deluxe room with 2 king beds (which was essentially 2 single beds pushed together). There was adequate room to move around and […] the bathroom was large however because there isn't a bath tub or shower stall, water goes all over the floor whenever you have a shower. The split system airconditioner was situated in the corner of the room so only the person who slept directly under it stayed cool. Ideal for a reasonably priced, standard hotel for seeing the sites of Sydney. Very conveniently located hotel with lots of eateries nearby and within walking distance of the main sites, or the transport links are very close by and regular too! For the price we found the Hotel was value for money and in a great location. The room was not large but comfortable & clean with only one exception and that was the shower floor requires a good scrub due to soap build up.

We only stayed 2 nights but found the staff to be very good, polite, and informative. Despite what others have said the room was quite big enough, anyone who thinks this room is small should try a nearby hotel to see what is really a small room. We found it quite quiet and had good nights sleep. The only problem we had was the exhaust fan didn't stop, […] we couldn't find a switch for it so it stayed on all night. It didn't bother us enough to keep us awake but if we were staying longer we would have asked the girl at the desk about it. We would without doubt stay here in the future and recommend it to others. I was given a smoking room in the smoking floor. It was bad, the air was not fresh and room bit untidy. Asked to change room but was not available on the day. 2nd day was much better. We moved to non smoking room, better room, clean and tidy

Basic but well located, clean and well run, convenient deal with the parking across the road. Great rates from Hotel.com. Will consider going back for budget night in the Sydney CBD.

Even though I ended up making the booking throughhotels.com Ibis in Pitt Street was recommended to me and I have to say it did not disappoint. The staff were all polite and friendly; the room was quiet and the bed was really comfortable and the location was ideal for my visit to Jersey Boys and walk around the CBD. The room was exceptionally small, with no room for more than one suitcase; no armchair or similar; shower was not cleaned properly when we arrived. Cleaning staff did not speak any English so communication between them, guests and management was effectively absent. Even the front entrance did not have the status of a hotel! I have a few points that needed to be attended: 1. Fix the air-con- there was non at all on a 40c Day 2. The hardness of the beds and pillows 3. The slow service when you check Inn 4. The taste of breakfast 5. Clean the shower floors more 6. Explain the parking more 7. Fridges in room where not cool at all

Perfect location, very friendly staff, I love things to be clean and this room was great. Breakfast was out of this world- I have stayed at alot of hotels in Sydney before & I'm now telling everyone to stay with Ibis because they care & it truly is the best value for your money. I will be back :)

The hotel itself is ok for local things to see. Unfortunately the rooms are so small, I felt I was being squeezed! MY end of my big trip would have been better to have gone some where like the Travelodge at Wynyard I stayed a month earlier. good location, just a clean very basic room

利便性と宿泊料の安さでこのホテルを選択しました。有名なミートパイのお店やチャイナタウンも子供と歩いて行ける距離です。ホテルの隣には韓国食堂がありました。多くのバスが通るメインストリートにも近いです。ただ、移動に無料シャトルバスを利用する予定だったのですが１５時半までしか運行しておらず、帰りは通常のバスを利用しました。リーズナブルな食べ物屋さんが近くにたくさんありますがオペラハウスやサーキュラキーまでは乗り物が必要なので、もう少しダウンタウンに近いホテルでも良かったかなと思います。ホテルの方の対応はとても丁寧です。空港から大型タクシーに６人乗って約５５ドルでしたが、帰りをホテルに手配してもらったら７５ドルでした。
