La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"Access to rooms by stair"
I think the hotel needs to improve the acces to the second floor. It only has stairs and it is very unconfortable to go up to the second floor when you arrive with bags. Also, it is safer for the people if a little elevator is available.

The location was convenient, the price was decent for New York, the staff was competent...but it was winter, and the water never got warm enough for a comfortable shower. My room was on the second floor.
"HOJO Terrible Beds, Cramped Room"
The beds in this room were concaved to such an extent that two people couldn't sleep in the bed without rolling into each other. The rooms were terribly cramped, with about 6" between the beds and walls and 12" between the beds. There was no hot water for showers in the morning, with extremely low water pressure, just over a trickle. "Rather far from Yankee Stadium"
The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room was clean. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling, but other than that, the room was in good condition. This hotel, however, is a very healthy walk from Yankee Stadium and the nearest metro stop. We drove to the stadium and parked there to take the metro to Manhattan. "Shuttle Bus To & From Train Station"
On the whole, we had a nice time, pleasant stay. Only recommendation is that Hotel should have a small shuttle bus to and from the closest train station in this case 167 Grand Concourse East/West train stations. This could either be free or cost included in room charges. This should make Howard Johnson the hotel of perfect choice for all.

"Great stay"
We had a great stay!! Hotel was fine located right next to the police station. Was clean, comfortable, friendly, and was in a great location to Yankees stadium and bronx zoo! Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again for a trip to a game! Parking great too
"Sleep only"
I only stayed for one night. The front desk people are very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is pretty beat up. The hallways smell like a restroom. Luckily, the room didn't smell. "Disgusting"
The hotel room was so nasty that I would not take my socks off. There were stains and smashed bugs on the walls and floors. There were even boogers smeared on the wall. Is there a cleaning staff? Yeah, don't know but it doesn't look like it.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The first time was 4 years ago and I had a better experience. This time the hotel was so dirty, full of flies all though out our stay and the AC wasn't that efficient. I definelty DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. "Elevator absence"
Everything was fine but should say in list of ammenities that there was no elevator in hotel.
Hotel Manager was very friendly and very helpful...Nice place to stay for a quick trip...only issue was no elevator and stairs are very steep, other than that had a nice stay..
"Hotel in Bronx, NY"
Staff does not speak clear english and it was hard too communicate with them. Front desk representatives also was not good at speaking english which is not good at all!! Hotel was comfortable for 2 nights and the complimentary breakfast was a joke!

Its nt a bad hotel. Rooms are very small. Very Small hotel.. Its ok for a quick stay.. Easier to drive to Stadium then walk from the hotel.. one good thing is it is located right next to a police station..

This hotel was in the middle of the Bronx right next to a police station. If you are in NY for a tour of hte city, this is not the place to stay. It is a 20 minute walk to the subway. However, we were there for a Yankee game and if that is your goal, this hotel is the best for hte price in the area. The park is a mere 15 walk from the hotel. "Not a good situation"
The managers were not very helpful. They tried to blame us when water came pouring into the room because of the rain outside. I didnt think it was worth the money.

Havde på Google Maps set en nærliggende fodgængerbro over Harlem-floden, ad hvilken jeg havde tænkt mig at spadsere til Columbia Universitets Presbyterian Hospital campus. To betjente jeg talte med udenfor politistationen i naboejendommen fortalte, at broen kun af og til var åben, men at vejen derop gik forbi en kirke, som ikke længere er en kirke, […] men et "addict house".
