Buona la prima colazione. Almeno strano e con poco confort il bagno che ha un locale molto piccolo per il water mentre la doccia e il piano lavabo, grandi, sono a vista. L'Hotel Flemings è un buon albergo senza però poterlo valutare con le 4 stelle che gli sono state attribuite. La presenza della colazione, abbondante e di qualità, gli innalza il valore complessivo. Le stanze sono moderne e ben realizzate anche se la manutenzione potrebbe migliorare. La vicinanza alla Stazione Centrale lo rende assai comodo per gli […] spostamenti fuori città e per l'uso della metropolitana, è invece un pò scomodo per raggiungere a piedi il centro della città, inoltre il quartiere che lo circonda è leggermente degradato. Albergo accogliente e silenzioso, comodissimo da raggiungere, garage per l'automobile. "Good hotel close to Hauptbahnhof & Old Town"
This hotel is well located for anyone arriving in Munich at the main rail station which is also the main connection to the airport. It is also only a short walk to the Old Town and associated sights. Just across the street the Hauptbahnhof. Double room was on the smallish size, but I think typical for Europe and many places in the world. Some folks had issues with the glassed in shower, open to the room, but to me, no problem - sizeable and great showerhead! I didn't find the room on the street side noisy. "Don't get too excited - expensive without cause..."
The Hotel is ok. Don't get your laundry sent out here as it is very expensive - there is no laundry at the hotel - just wait for your next stop. The room is comfortable without being amazing. The beds are very low to the ground so if you have back, knee issues, this is not the place for you. Also the pillows that are initially provided are basically […] just a sack of air so you'll have to ring for new ones. No flat screen TV in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room - you have to ring down for room service and pay a fair bit for it. The room wasn't cleaned all that thoroughly during our stay - papers left and empty bottles not removed from the room. "Exceeded expectations"
I made this reservation after reading many reviews. I expected a great breakfast, convenient location and clean, well kept facility. I don't need lavish conditions. Exceptional value. After staying mainly in Holdiay Inns and the sort here in the States it was a refreshing change to stay at such an upscale hotel. It was walking distance (5 minutes) from the hustle and bustle of city center. Located directly across from the Main Train Station. So many good things to say about this hotel. The staff was complete, thorough and friendly. […] Loved the showers in the rooms. The glass look is something I would love to have in my own home. "Security Breach"
The most important factor of any hotel stay is the sense of security. While downstairs having a quick bite to eat, OUR ROOM WAS BROKEN INTO AND OUR ROOM SAFE EMPTIED including passport. credit cards, cash etc. Not only was the staff not accommodating, they were in complete disbelief. It took 3 demands for them to finally call the police because they […] thought we'd just misplaced our items. We had not been drinking and were only out of our room for 1 hour. At another time, we a found housekeeping servicing our room when we placed the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Plus there was no sign or indication they were inside at the time. Great location, only one block from train station. Breakfast included, WiFi free, quiet. Carpet on floor was not vacuumed everyday of the stay. Not satisfied. On check-in we were upgraded to a room with a sleeping loft, accessed by a slippery spiral staircase. Sleeping area in loft was very small and stuffy, and there was no privacy with the glassed-in shower. Asked to be changed to another room but were told no other rooms were available. This is a nice hotel but there is a major problem with their rooms. The shower is a huge and open glass box inside the room and directly next to the beds. This may be nice for a couple but if you have to stay there with a colleague it is not fun. The hotel should make this very clear before you book a room.
