Quality Inn & Suites Florence Florence

This "Quality Inn" definitely lacked quality. There was mold in the bathroom (a ton on the shower curtain), the ceiling was falling off, there was leftover used soap and washcloth in the bath tub from the person that stayed before us. We felt gross and not safe the entire time. We couldn't wait to check out in the morning.

Hotel was great, but the website said the hotel was 13 miles from our destination and when we got there and checked in, it ended up being much farther. The drive time was 45 minutes from where we wanted to go. Very disappointed in this aspect of our stay.

Old, dreary hotel that needs a face lift. prices correct for whta you get. Not much. Breakfast was OK, not great.

Our room was dirty, I doubt that it was even sweap. I check the carpet on the first night. On the second night the dirt was in the same spot as the first night. The matteress. It was so broken down is the middle my wife and I were constantly rolling toward the center of the matteress and on top of eachother. My wide slept on an angle, I spent the night […] sleeping at the foot of the bed in the corner of the matteress. I had to hold my arm onto the side of the bed to keep from rolling down to the middle of the matteress. When I complained to the front desk,it just fell onto deft ears. This is your average motel. Don't expect much. There is a free continental breakfast. The free WIFI did not work from my room. Bathrooms could use a makeover.

Got there at 2:35 PM told room would not be ready for another hour was not offered another room that was clean. The room key would not work on the outside door closest to room had to walk aroun to get in.

The hotel was terrible. Musty smells everywhere. One set of lights in the room did not work. The pull for drapes was broken. Although we paid through Hotels.com, we were charged again by the hotel and had to call to get this fixed. We will never stay in this dump again! The staff however were friendly and helpful.

While I felt the hotel could use some updating and the room was not exactly as nice as I thought it would be in the photo, our room had a comfortable bed and was smoke free. The continental breakfast was also better than expected, offering make-your-own waffles and biscuits and gravy rather than just the bagels and juice I was expecting.

It was very convenient to other places I needed to go. I could access the internet to get directions and check my bank account. It was perfect for what I needed it for.

The room was clean but did have a wet/musty smell. Areas of the carpet seemed wet. The heating/ari unit seemed to need cleaned because a musty smell came out when the fan was on.

None of the appliences were plugged in when I got there. There was a toe nail on the floor next to the bed, and chewed sunflower seeds behind the nightstand. There was mold on the curtains, and I had to kick in the bathroom door because it was stuck.

Reserved smoking, king, 2 adults. Room was not cleaned after prior guests, and we checked in around 7pm. House keeping gone so we had to take Queen instead. Not comfortable sleeping at all for 2 large adults. Hotel apparently doing rehab, sinks from all other rooms laying in hallway! Not recommended until rehab completed and housekeeping trained!

The QUI in Florence was an overall terrible experience. It began when I first walked in the door and the lobby was at 90 degrees. It was so hot in there that it smelled. The 2nd room was very hotter than the first one and lobby combined and above all had a stench of some sort. Almost as if something had rotted in the room. when we went to our "non-smoking" room it reeked of smoke. The not too nice desk clerk said he migh have aniother. We asked for a refund and left. The Ramada name should have have not been on this hotel. It looked quite sleezy.

we arrived at the hotel @ 3:50 in the afternoon. We were greeted by a rude person @ the front desk.(Heather) We were told that the room was not ready but that she would call us within 1/2 hour. After we waited for an hour and 30 minutes we decided to start home and not stay in this hotel. heather finally called us about 95 minutes after we tried to […] check in (5:20)p.m. to tell us our room was ready. The hotel was clean and proved a reasonable value for the money and a convenient location. The facility is showing its age and could stand updating. Staff was in short supply, most likely due to the economy.

Breakfast was a good value and there was a good variety including waffles, yogurt, etc. Everything was clean and well maintained. Two sinks made it easier for 3 of us to get ready.

To give the hotel the benefit of the doubt, they supposedly under new management. Hot water faucet in one sink had mold growing on it. Mold in shower. One light not working. Beds uncomfortable. Coffee pot not clean. Holes in sheets and towels. Microwave knob not working and tray was missing from inside turntable. Heat lamp knob not working for bathroom. Front […] desk attendants not responsive. Toner low for days at guest computer in lobby. Hotel did not replace during my stay. Personally observed 3 other complaints that the front desk attendant did not have an answer for and did not do anything to fix the problem. This was 3 separate guests and 3 separate attendants. The breakfast was adequate and seemed to be the only thing that this hotel put any effort toward. Hotel location was convenient for everything that I needed to do while in the area. We were looking for a cheaper hotel that was still comfortable. The location was good...accessible to main highways. The lobby and hallways were extrmeley hot with no air conditioning. The room took very long to get cool and was uncomfortable for the first few hours. The manager did offer to put us in a new room, but after running that air we didnt […] feel a difference. That night when we were sleeping was when it got cool. They do not change out towels or make beds, i guess unless you ask them to. Our phone did not work. On first impression of the front it wasn't that bad. We drove around to the side and back and were beginning to regret our decision. It looked a little run down. We went inside and the lobby was fairly neat and clean -old but clean. The air was apparently broken and it was like an oven in the entire building. Mind you this was in the middle of the summer. […] We checked in, paid our pet fee - which the clerk would not put on our card - had to pay cash. We got to our room and I did my usual inspection - pulled back the sheets and found crumbs and hair. There were bits of trash on the floor where it had not been vacuumed well. My husband looked around the bathroom and there was hair and urine on the toilet and it smelled like mildew. Wallpaper was peeling and was actually stapled in some spots. The air conditioner barely put out cool air. The room didn't have a fridge/microwave which we asked for. We called and complained and were moved to the neighboring room. The night guy complained b/c he couldn't book the previous room since we had actually placed our things in there and pulled back the sheets. IMO the room was not bookable to begin with. The clerk told us that they could not control how the maids cleaned the rooms! The next room was a little cleaner. The air worked a little better although the room never cooled down. The next day we were questioned about not paying our pet fee and was asked to see the receipt. When we brought it to the lady she said that the night guy had basically pocketed our cash and had actually printed out a bill rather than a receipt. It was clean, great for the money.

We got a good deal with hotels.com and for the price we paid for our room, we couldn't ask for more. The hotel was accomodating by giving us adjoining rooms and they were very nice, plus... the bed was very comfortable! and we got free internet service. Thanks hotels.com!

Only in town for a Reds game. Convenient access to I 75 and 10 minutes to the ballpark. Not the plushest motel but clean, convenient, helpful, at a modest rate.

Considering this is a two Star property it really was decent. Room was clean and everything worked. The breakfast was good.Did not like the 11:00 am check out time. Cleaning crew was waiting by the door for us to leave.
