We booked through hotels.com and were not aware that there were no king beds left, b ut the staff actually gave me a three bedroom at the same price so we could have a large bed for our anniversary. ♥♥♥♥♥

"Very convenient location"
Overall we were happy with our stay. The facilities were nice, the pool area was good, the outside was well kept. We were a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the room. There is not any housekeeping services during your stay. Also, the king bed in the master bedroom was really two twin beds put together. However, we did feel very safe there. Dont believe the negative reviews!!! I did and was petrified that my room would not be up to par, boy was i wrong. Beautiful , Clean, exactly what the pictures show online. I will most definitely be staying there in the future
"Cleanlness of room"
The room was very nice and the odor of bleach met me at the door but the room was not clean. The couch and chair was worn out and pull out bed was not clean and very uncomfortable. The room was suppose to have a king bed but it was a full or queen instead.

I stayed her April 8-14 2012 in a 3 bedroom unit. After reading some of the negative reviews I was nervous about checking into this place, but my condo was beautiful. It was well worth the money. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and I liked the idea of saving money by being able to cook at the condo. It was very clean and the decor is up to […] date and very nice. The beach is a mile away and there is a shopping center right around the corner with everything you could need. There s a washer and dryer in the unit so they do not refresh your linen nor do they clean your room daily unless you pay extra which was fine with me. The only issue I had was that my son and I were on the balcony at 9:00 pm on a Friday night and security came to my door to complain about the noise, which in my opinion was a bit ridiculous since we were just talking about the next days plans and not shouting or being loud at all. Condo was beautiful. The main downfall is the beds. They felt like we were sleeping on cots at camp. Very uncomfortable. we did have problems with our booking accomodations but they worked to resolve those isssues.

We stayed for a few nights over spring break. This property was selected because it offered space and had a nice indoor pool, given the early season visit. Myrtlewood Villas was very nice and met our needs! The unit (2BR) was mostly clean and was comfortable. (Mostly means insignificant items like spots on the rug, holes in the wall - no impact to function) […] The property was well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful - maintenance even helped to fix my daughter's bike! The indoor pool was as described - awesome facility with relaxing lazy river, activities pool, and hot tub. The location was ideal, too - short drive to anything in Myrtle while having lots of space on the property for us to enjoy. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back! Continua a leggere
"Myrtlewood Villas Stay"
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Myrtlewood Villas. The room had all of the agreed upon amenities. Staff was accommodating to our needs and it was located close enough to the attractions. While I do realize the space is rather large, I would have liked to see things cleaned a little better and more organized.

Very pleased, would stay again, can't beat the price, our only concern was the bedframe was not very sturdy, and we needed to call before we even slept in it because it seemed like it was going to fall apart just by laying on the bed. We stopped by the main desk on our way out, and maintenance came and tightened it right away. They really need a new […] bed. "FAMILY"
Condo itself was dirty, the beds look like someone slept in them, and bathroom were dirty . The building we stay in did not have a elevator. The Customer service or help desk was unfriendly...We had to go ask about how you get clean towels. The Myrtlewood Villas management advertise wireless internet and the availability of internet was not operational […] in our condo. Overall the rating is unsatisfactory and will not recommend or stay in Myrtlewood Villas again. Continua a leggere

"Could have been the best, but failed"
My family and I stayed in the villas for their three night special. Apparently noone takes time to clean those rooms. The carpet was completely filthy and linens didn't feel all that fresh. The kitchen and space of the room was wonderful- completely stocked. We all wore socks or flip flops the entire time. It almost ruined my kids vacation because they […] kept complaining about how dirty the carpets were. And the bathrooms smelled of fresh urine as if someone just checked out moments before. And to top it off there were no other rooms to swap with. The place could of been the best villa we've ever had if it was just cleaned properly. Just clean the darn rooms! That's all. Keep in moind that each of the units are individually owned- so units may be furnished differently. we rented a 2 bedroom condo- we requested the newer section, however the desk said we were assigned the older units. the rugs were filthy- the kitchen essentials were sparse and of very poor quality. there was a terrace overlooking the golf course but […] the rug and plastic furniture were so dirty that we dare not step out there. "Weekend in Myrtle Beach"
A double plus for the pool facilities as it was great fun for the kids. You have to drive though from the room to the clubhouse where the pool is. A minus for lack of WiFi in the rooms. Another minus was the early check out time (10am) making it difficult to enjoy activities on the departure day.

"The bed was awesome, but....."
The 1st room we went into the bed looked as if someone was laying on it with the tv on. The 2nd room which was called the safety room wasn't that great either. The tv didn't work neither did the phones, but the bed was awesome I slept like a baby. We left first thing the following morning, so we only stayed one night. Never going back.
This is a nice family friendly place to stay. Everytime we visit the beach we stay here I just wish I could have stayed in one of the newer villas that they have and this time the elevator did not work so we had to walk up and down the stairs with our luggage but overall we it was enjoyable and will be back to visit.

My family and I really like Myrtlewood. The Villas are neat and clean. The grounds are kept up nice. I really love the full kitchen in the room. The price was good. You dont always have to have oceanfront to enjoy the beach.The indoor pool was great with the lazy river. This was the first time we spent Christmas at the beach but our second time at Myrtlewood. "Good location for couples"
My husband and I stayed here on New Years weekend. It was a convenient location for couples that wanna go out, as it is close to Broadway on the Beach. The price was cheap and it was a fairly decent condo. The decorations and everything in the place needed to be upgraded, but other than that i have no disappointments.

Lovely surroundings. The area was very peaceful, yet so close to the biggest and best attractions! Though the interior decor was a bit dated, and the tattered lamp shades were an eyesore; it was very clean, and comfy for our stay. "Very Nice, but..."
The accommodations provided were very nice, however, I was very disturbed and surpised to see roaches in the unit in the kitchen area. NOT GOOD AT ALL! I did not see the nasty bugs until the morning of the 3rd day, but I am sure they were there all along. As we killed it thinking it was an isolated incident. NOT! saw another the next day. Because the […] units are occupied by many people and they are condos, staff should routinely spray. Our unit was tastefully decorated and a pleasure to stay in other than the bug problem. "Ok place"
You'll need to ask them for extra towels, toiletries, etc. The kitchen was very sparsely furnished. Coffee maker didn't work. Staff was very accomodating and furnished us with the things we needed. Still, a very good deal for the money (during the Christmas break). Kids loved the pool and lots of room to spread out in the condo.

My wife and I stayed here for Christmas weekend. My stay was so terrible I do not want to comment. I advice you to not stay here. There were no clerks available, There were holes in ceilinng with spiders in them, bugs everywhere, indoor pool and fitness center was locked for the holidays and that was the only reason I went. Condo was nice and location was good but the .condo itself was dirty . Also the hotel staff didnot tell you anything about the condo .We had to go ask about how you get clean towels and we were told that we had to bring them to the desk inoder to get clean ones . "A Great Place To Stay!"
We stayed in a one bedroom unit it was really nice. Clean and very spacious. I will be back in the summer time. This is the place to stay.

This is my second stay at this location, the staff is very friendly and they responded immediately when I had a concern. "Very clean and comfortable accomodations"
Very nice and clean. I would reccomend highly. The only minor complaint I can think of is the office does not open until 9:00 AM for checkout.
