1. 50% hotel staff does not know english. especially wifi admin does not know english 2. Wifi will be free of charge like other hotels. 3. other than above problem.hotel stay was good.

This has been my 8th visit to Bangkok & my 7th stay @ this hotel. The one time that I chose to stay @ another hotel just highlighted the fact the Indra Regent has so much to offer the busy shopper. The location is safe & central, even for a woman travelling on her own. It is near to all the big shopping markets in the Pratunam area incl Pratunam, Platinum, […] Big C, Central World, etc. the food court situated in the adjoining Indra Square is very convenient with KFC, McDonalds, Black Canyon & other eateries open till late. Staff are very helpful & friendly, without being intrusive. Bedding gets changed almost everyday, but they do not vacuum each day, which is a pity. Telephone calls from the room are massively expensive, so avoid this at all costs! Use the laundry opposite the hotel & don't use the hotel forex exchange! All in all though, this hotel has all that you need for a good shopping trip! Continua a leggere

The hotel is located in a very buzy street. Lots and lots of shopping aroung your hotel. We took a tuk tuk everywhere in the city. They should not charge you more than 60 baht, about $2.00. Most people in Bangkok are honest, but some will take you for a ride if you are not careful. Had a great time, great city.

We have stayed here several time and find it a good place to stay and it is in a very handy area Christne and John

OK hotel in Pratunam, Room price is ok this old hotel.

We had a good stay there- in general hotel is clean and staff is friendly, excellent location. Just walking distance from the Platinum mall and nearby markets. One can easily go back to the hotel to leave the shopping bags before going out again. Will definitely think of staying here again on my next trip to BKK.

The Indra has turned into a dump.The property is in a state of total disrepair.The rooms are dated.The bathroom towels are thread bare.The bathroom essentials in a 1 star hotel are better.Indra was a total disappointment.Overpriced in it's present condition.

Location is so close to excellent market and shopping malls. Eateries are near by. Hotel has lobby with seating facilities as well as light food and drinks. Pool area is well maintained and clean with free towels available. Desk staff most knowlegable and helpful. Tourist desk is located in foyer and detailed information is readily at hand. If u come to Bangkok to shop in pratunam area,this hotel maybe ur best choice. Location is super convenient. Hotel is old but well maintained,the room is also newly renovated so still look nice and clean. Pool is small but nice and never too crowded. F&B in this hotel is pricey,as 5stars hotel price. I had stayed for four nights at the hotel no dout that the location is good all shopping area is like walking distance. the worst was that the chef at the breakfast was not at all hospitable. plus while making omlets / scrambeld he was wasting eggs using too much of oil. even the spread is ok nothing great.

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay with friendly staff whom are always helpfull. This being our third stay at the Indra regent and we were happily surprised with the improvements made to enhance more comfort. The hotel is very conveniently situated near the sky train station which is a cost effective method of getting to the airport. Breakfast were […] once again laid out on the terrace with the eatables close by. In attendance were friendly staff to assist if required. Of more convenience is the fact that it is situated close to other shopping malls besides the market on it's door step. This was definitely a plus as well as the change of meal with Macdonalds for a quick bite close by. Transport elsewhere is no problem as there is an over abundance of taxis as well as tuk-tuks on the door step, with well meaning drivers who offer cheaper rates. Like anywhere else in the world, be wary of any unscrupelous offers. Just recently back iat home, we are planning our next stay at the Indra Regent very soon. Good facilities, central location, only 200 metres from railway station, good breakfast spread. Downside: mattress a little hard, main street one way traffic; (drivers take many back lanes, if coming from wrong direction). If I go back to Bangkok I will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel with good service. Close to Central World and walkable to MBK and the BTS as well. Surroundings is relatively safe of travellers. Just downstairs is Pratunam shopping and close to street stalls. Only thing I hate is the taxi service catered by the hotel, pure cut-throat.

The staff is helpful but the hotel services have deminished over the years. Beds and linen need to change.the little that is provided is over priced

This is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but it is clean, cheap and well located. The hotel is attached to a large multi-level shopping center complete with food court. The airport train is literally just down the street. The tallest building in Thailand, the Baiyoke Sky (part of which is also a hotel) is next door. Walking distance […] to the Peninsula Plaza, one of the more exclusive malls in the country. A very short taxi ride from MBK, one of the best and largest discount shopping malls in Bangkok. My only complaint is the nickle & diming of excess charges, but I suppose this is to be expected from a budget hotel. The minibar, for example, has drinks priced 16 times (!) the rate for the same thing in the 7-11 store across the street. Wi-fi internet access is only available in the lobby area and is also ridiculously expensive (600 baht for 24 hours, or about half for a one hour pass). Thankfully free wi-fi can be found at MBK and there are cheap stores everywhere to stock up on food and drinks, so guests aren't stuck paying a lot for these extras. Continua a leggere

We enjoyed the Indra because of its location and the very good breakfast included.. Shopping and clothes markets are in the same building and in the adjoining streets. There is a Food Court in the same building and another about a 10 minute walk to the next corner. We did have trouble because of the lack of hot water for a shower. The hotel was ideally situated for us. We were there for a quick shopping visit and it suited us perfectly

Really close to train station for taking you to the airport for your early flight. Walking distance from shopping areas. It is very close to Baiyoke hotel (highest building in Thailand) where you can see the city from atop.

Ett helt okej hotell om man bara ska stanna en natt för att sedan ta sig vidare. Väldigt enkelt att ta sig dit med hjälp av tåget direkt från flygplatsen. Ganska fint hotell, men något slitet. Rummen är fortfarande helt ok, även om det känns som att det behövs en renovering inom en relativt snar framtid.

Finns finare hotell än detta, men för dom här pengarna är hotellet väldigt bra tycker jag. bra standard och bra mat. Det bästa är egentligen läget du har marknader och köpcentrum nära :)

Vi trivdes utrolig godt, beliggenheten passet oss ypperlig...nært det meste. Gode shoppingmuligheter rett utenfor døren. God service og hyggelig personale. Ikke det mest moderne hotellet men helt greit. Pluss for connectingdoors og store rom. Frokosten vart litt kjedelig i lengden, vi bodde der en uke.

4th. time staying at the hotel. Location is good, with Prantunam market just outside the door and close to Siam square(20-30 min walk). Breakfast buffet exellent as usual. Outside swimmingpool on 4.th floor is great on hot days. Staff is friendly. Wi-FI internet is extremely expensive, 600 bath for one hour!! Огромный плюс этого отеля- это его местоположение.Удобно расположен в центре деловой и торговой жизни Бангкока, в шаговой доступности крупнейшие торговый центры, станции метро, очень удобно добираться из аэропорта на скоростном метро, быстро, без пробок, станция находится в 5-ти минутах ходьбы от отеля.Сам отель достаточно старый, с соответствующими […] запахами сырости. Мы бронировали номер Junior Suite, номер не плохой, достаточно большой с огромной удобной кроватью, но для Suite очень маленькая ванная комната. Как везде в отелях Бангкока в номерах грязные, пыльные окна, через которые ничего не видно.Завтрак в отеле поразил своей скудностью, кроме фруктов, яиц и соков из порошка кушать было нечего.При этом завтрак отель оценивает в 300 бат.Не рекомендую этот отель, т.к. по приблизительно равной цене в этом районе есть отели более высокого уровня.Бронировали через Hotels.com , очень качественная, четкая работа. Le lieu est animé et très cosmopolite, proche de tous les lieux connus de shopping (MBK Center, Pratunam, Baiyoke...) mais les rues autour de l'hôtel, bien que très sûres, ne sont pas du tout aussi classes que celui-ci! J'ai voulu faire plaisir à ma femme pour la dernière nuit de notre séjour et cet endroit est recommandable!

Hotellet ligger bra till med gångavstånd till stora köpcentran. Granne ligger Bangkoks just nu (dec 2010) högsta byggnad Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Dess roterande utsiktsplattform på 84:e våningen är väl värd ett besök. Standarden är inte den högsta och mest moderna, men rummen är rena och fräscha.
