"Autumn Leaves 2011"
We loved this place. I was skeptical at first because we reserved a cabin room. It was very clean. This is off the beaten path but was perfect for us. The breakfast was the best I have ever eaten. The staff was very friendly. I cannot wait to go back next year.

Very nice inn. Grounds were beautiful. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant once (good, not great), and never got a chance to eat dinner as we were out enjoying the scenery. Room was smaller than we thought it would be, but nice. Though we were getting a cabin, we actually just had a room at one end of a cabin. Staff were very nice, no complaints […] at all. Room was "rustic" and charming, even though it was smaller than a traditional hotel room. Gas fire place was a nice bonus, especially on cool fall nights. Shower was smallish, bathroom was cramped. Hot water was tough to tame, as it seemed to have a mind of it's own...and it could get scalding hot! Continua a leggere

Beautiful little collection of cottages around a central inn. Romantic comfortable rooms. Great attentive service with bonuses like complimentary coffee and wine tastings. Lovely town, inn is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood with an easy walk to dining and a small movie theater. One hours' drive to waterfalls, Asheville and Hendersonville […] sights and dining, apple orchards, everything you want from Western NC. "The Pine Crest Inn - a charming place in Tryon, NC"
The Pine Crest Inn has old world charm in a peaceful setting in Tryon, NC. The Inn boasts of famous food (delicious!) and cottage style rooms (outstanding and very clean!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the people there are helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Pine Crest!
Stayed here a year ago...still ove the quaintness and southern hospitality. Breakfast not as "grand" as a year ago. Not sure if they have a new chef or if the rising costs changed the menu, but it didn't seem as generous in selections. I would have gladly paid more to get what I had the year before.
