Grand Hyatt DFW Irving

Hotels.com told me I had 7 nights free parking, but the hotel said only one day parking per one night's stay. Also to get coffee, the attendant required a voucher for each person -- a little chintzy for a first class hotel. Otherwise, everything was good.

Love this hotel. That staff goes above and beyond. Surprisingly happening scene in the lounge in the evening.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located within the airport. The amenities are amazing beginning from the rooms, to the restaurant and the rooftop heated pool. The hotel is seconds away from concourse D security check-point and it's extremely easy to travel on an overnight stay while you're traveling. This hotel is to die for, it is very very nice. It is so relaxing, a must stay.

I knew that this would be a good fit for the type of trip I was taking -- a quick pop-in to DFW to meet up with some folks and then a quick flight back. Being on the Airport grounds makes for a very inviting stay, as you spend virtually no time between de-planing and relaxing at your hotel room. Add to the fact that the rental car shuttle is very […] close and it adds up to a good stay all around. Services include a full restaurant (did not use), M Lounge (full service bar and food available from restaurant in lounge area, and Moka bar (good for AM coffee). One thing to note is that you will need to drive someplace for entertainment/shopping. While DFW has a fair amount of shopping and things to do once behind security, it's pretty sparse on the non-secured portion of the airport which is where the hotel is (obviously). recently I had to overnight in Dallas. I had another reservation at another hotel. But when I realized how large the Dallas airport was and that the Grand Hyatt was directly connected to the airport, I changed the reservation. this is a very nice hotel, and highly sound proofed - I never heard any planes! Definitely worth it!

Luxurious and convenient. A little pricey, though!

Excellent stay. Khanf Ha (front office agent) was very professional and attentive with all of our special requests. Dining was superb albeit pricey...atleast we got what we paid for!

If you have an overnight stay in DFW, this is the place to stay. We had an overnight connection through DFW and so spent the extra to stay in the airport. What a good choice - the hotel is on the tram stop, and the rooms are spacious and well appointed, nicely decorated with smooth high quality bedding. If you like good coffee in the AM, call the night […] before for a coffee maker. They bring you one of those pressurized single serve coffee makers with several servings to choose from. It was awesome! They also have a separate tub from the shower, so if you like a good soak in a nice clean tub w/out having to deal with a dumb shower curtain, this one is great. The staff at the Grand Hyatt DFW are always accommodating and helpful. They make flying a much better experience by enabling us to relax, eat great food and have a wonderful night's sleep before an early morning flight.

This hotel is just perfect for transfers at DFW. It's located in Terminal D and I was joining a Qantas flight to Sydney. I was able to have an excellent rest at this hotel in between flights. The room was wonderful. The only thing which irked me was that you have to pay for the internet.

Excellent service and food via room service. Rooms quiet and nicely appointed. Easy access to gaits. A real bargain considering everything.

The room was spacious and clean. The coupon to get a free cup of coffee at the snack bar downstairs was a nice touch. The huge bathroom was very classy. If you have to fly out the next morning, this is much better than some of the "nearby" hotels where you have to deal with catching a shuttle and lugging your luggage long distances. Alwasy awesome to stay at Grand Hyatt for layover on route to Canada. The hotel is convenient and so handy for early flights. Front desk can help with your check-in to help speed up this process if you're running late.

My family spent the night in Dallas to connect to another flight the next day. We arrived in the "D" concourse and it could not of been easier to arrive at the hotel. I suggest this hotel to any family looking to make it easy on themselves. Using Hotels.com made it even easier. The front desk staff took wonderful care of us as did the bell men. Our flight home to Arizona required an overnight stay in Dallas due to the late hour. This hotel is in the airport. We never had to leave the airport property. Catching our morning flight only required a walk through security and a ride on the SkyTrain.

We has a very wonderful time - the view was lovely - we loved watching the takoffs and landings. We heard very little noise.

Very nice hotel with high access and convenience to DFW. Beward of air traffic noise.

One could not ask for a friendlier or more professional staff. The room was excellent. I was just surprised when we arrived that it was in the terminal, and when we wanted to go to a sports bar we were going to have to go through regular security as though we were flying out. Was quite pleased with our stay at the Grand Hyatt DFW. Less than 10 minutes from our departure gate. Treat yourself and stay in elegant comfort. Well worth the money !!

This is such a convenient place to stay at DFW. The shower stall is strange. You cannot avoid splashing the floor even when no one is in it and you just want to turn on the water. Poor design there. The dinner menu had loads and load of MEAT, which is fine if that is your thing. The shrimp tempura arrived without the typical delicious dipping sauce, […] and instead was covered in some weird squiggle of mayo-based something. Asked for a tempura dipping sauce and received a sauce of some type but not was should have gone with it. The only veggie option was butternut squash soup, which until my stay at the Grand Hyatt I had never thought could be ruined. It had some weird Middle Eastern spice thing going on. Truly AWFUL. Looked like clover leafs were randomly tossed in for what I do not know. Two people had it, each hated it. Both of us love all kinds of food. Change your soup recipe! This is an excellent hotel, and in the middle of the DFW Airport. For being in the middle, between 6 runways, there is virtually no noise whatsoever. The view of aircraft coming and going is an added bonus. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with large bathrooms, with separate bath and shower, in the same room, which is different. The bathroom […] is large enough for my wife to do her hair while I was shaving, and we were not cramped at all, or bumping into each other, another bonus. All-in-all, this is an excellent facility, and we will most certainly stay here again. The convenience of stepping out of your room and right into the airport, and not having to worry about traffic jams or parking issues, is a real plus. Location, location, location... Staff are very professional and helpful in assisting you to your correct terminal as DFW has 5 terminals/satellites depending on airline. Free shuttles or trams every 5 minutes take you from terminal to terminal. DFW airport has virtually no food locations until you pass through security checkpoints. Continua a leggere

Super convenient in the airport to catch an early morning flight. Great Fitness Room. Terrific restaurant Not a great bar.

Room was very comfortable. Very friendly staff and prompt attention to meet your needs. Definitely would stay there again.

Due to flight schedule had to layover in DFW. Very convenient access to the airport, both checking in and out. AA flight monitors in the lobby, great views of the airport area. Hotel staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Either DFW shut down for the night or the rooms were very reasonably soundproofed!

Here's what I hated about the hotel: why do better hotels charge for Internet service when motels offer it free? This bothers me and I don't understand it. Is their Internet better than the ones at the motel chains?

This was my first time to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Front desk was exceptionally friendly....best service EVER!!!! Mustafo at the check in outside was extremely friendly and helpful. Crystal in the bar was extremely friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel when flying out of DFW forever!!!!!!!! Paula Howard

Hotel was fantastic. However, the next morning for an early flight, my 10-mo old and I went down to the security line at the base of the hyatt and were unable to check in! Most other airlines you could enter the terminal there, but we had to catch a terminal bus and it took an extra 30 min to do all the run around--it was basically like staying off […] site. We got there in time for flight but i was aniticapating having an hour pre-flight to organize/play with baby and they were pretty much ready to preboard when we got to continental terminal. plan your AM flights carefully--it may not be as conveniently located as you would expect! We stayed one night to catch a flight the next day. The restaurant has excellant food. We even had time in the morning to workout and shower before our afternoon flight. Then we just took the elevator to the terminal level to check in. Very convenient.

We live three and a half hours from DFW Airport and have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 3 years. The rooms are fabulous for the price, and you do not hear the noise from the planes. The hotel is extremely convenient for a morning flight or an arrival into DFW late in the evening.Everyone is courteous and very helpful.

We have visited this hotel twice now, both times were wonderful Excellent, friendly service, and an awesome environment. My favorite place to stay in Dallas.

My daughter and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a couple of days. What I liked most about the hotel was the bathroom. It was very modern and sleek with a wonderful shower. The hotel service was awesome. The view of the airplanes taking off was also nice. You couldn't really hear the outside noise unless you listened really closely. So the noise factor […] was no problem. The only drawback was finding parking during the day. The hotel gave you passes so there was no fee to park and get in and out of the airport but circling around got old when seeking parking during the day. Overall great hotel! Continua a leggere
