Despite some of the bad reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay at hotel blue. Im glad we did. We had great service. Early check in. Rooms were clean. Good music by the pool. Swim up bar definately awesome. Cheap room rates in late april. Overall good experience.

"Horrible Experience"
Honestly I don't know where to start when it comes to this hotel. 20 of my family members stayed at this hotel this past weekend. Security threatened to arrest my husband because he was in another hotel room after 11pm. The fire alarm was pulled 5 times during our 2 day visit. The hotel is delipitated to put it nicely. I spoke with the so called manager […] and she stated that she would give us a discount due to all the problems her staff caused us. When I went to check out this morning of course no discount was given. This hotel is plain awful and to top it off I bought a water bug home from this filthy place. U have been warned. "It was OK"
It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't the worst. The room was really clean and the view from our balcony was nice. I personally wouldn't stay again.

Cooler/AC in main room leaked all over the floor during night and our things were wet and sticky, floors were sticky, shoes, had to use towels to stop it from spreading...Out of 2 closest elevators to our room on 15th floor 1 was not working mor 2 our of 3 days..everytime we had to go down we would stop on every other floor to pick up or drop off people...it […] would have been faster to take stairs..hallways are dirty. 4 pillows in closet had old pillow cases, 2 of them had black prints (make up) on the bed cover when i pulled it off there were dry booger smeared...sooooo gross....good thing i brought my own blanket and pillows...Ocean front view - which is what i booked- ended up being a room facing the hotel across and you can only see a sliver of the ocean between buildings...i had a rought last few months and did not go to complain, but why is it that everytime "ocean front" room is reserved you (me) have to go back and demand the actual ocean front room, why cant people just put you into a room that you reserved???? Too much noise. Children running up and down hallways, slamming doors, yelling out etc... until well past midnight. Front desk was notified on several occasions by my party and others on the floor, but to no avail..... Being that I was only staying there until 3am.....I was only able to sit in the room and wasnt able to sleep any at all..... "Don't waste your money on this place"
After reading countless reviews, I booked this hotel thinking I would be getting a great view and a comfortable bed. Wrong on both accounts. I have stayed in Super 8 Motels that were nicer and much more comfortable. The room was not clean (beer bottle cap on the floor) and it was VERY sparse. The mattresses were rock hard. The pillows were thin foam. […] VERY DATED. The reviews did not do this place justice. We paid for 2 nights and checked out after the first day. The concierge didn't even ask us why. "Convenient parking system"
Not only where the accomodations excellent but the convenience of a multi-level parking (where you can park on the same level that you are staying) was great. I regret we were only able to stay 1 day and I plan to stay very soon.

Stayed at hotel blue in the oceanfront studio apartment October 7-9 for boyfriends birthday. I was a little skeptical at first because the prices were so cheap. I was worried it would be dirty,etc. I'm so happy I went for it. I have high expectations, and hotel blue ended up delivering. We got there before check in time started, but they checked us […] in early. Our room was not ready yet, so they moved us up to another room right away.Staff was very friendly as well as other guests staying there.There were a lot of couples there, both young and older. Definatly a couples resort, but nice for families and kids to. They have a swim up bar in the pool, music, and live band. Our overall stay was very relaxing. Just what we needed. the bath tub knob fell off ,the shower head was broken from wall could not move it.water dripped all day and night.

The roorn the hotel placed us was too high (15th floor), ice machine not working, shower did not drain and hot water took to long to when taking a shower (longer then20min) The hotel needs an upgrade. The price was great, the pools were clean. Captian's - breakfast was too costly, liked the bowling ally.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Blue. Had a private balcony room on the 14th floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The swim up bar in the pool was also an added bonus. The lazy river was very enjoyable. We actually just enjoyed staying around the hotel and relaxing with their aminities and the beach. Any complaints that we would have […] would only be minor (slow elevators, and slow sink drain in the room, etc). Over all we were very pleased with our stay and would consider staying at Hotel Blue in the future. Plenty of pools,great view of ocean with oceanfront. Hotel staff were very friendly,didnt have any problems with the hotel or the staff. My only complaint was the swimming pool,I like access to a 8ft deep pool. The deepest pool on hotel blue grounds was 4ft,great for my 3yo but usually theres a pool that is 8ft deep for the grown ups. No not the case,even […] had access to the surrounding hotels pools which none went over 5ft. The big slide in the picture at captains cove was closed off,my daughter was bummed about that. We went during Labor Day weekend and the entire following week and 1/2. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was very nice and our room, which was oceanfront was just what we wanted. We were put on the third floor but it was too noisy with the pool right there and so we asked to be moved to a higher level and the hotel was very accomadating to put us […] up on the 8th floor with NO hassle at all. We don't have any small children and wanted some peace and quite along with privacy. We didn't use house cleaning everyday, but when we did, which was every other day, the maids were very efficient. All the staff was very nice and pleasant. They made us feel like we were actually on vacation. The only complaint we have is, the swim-up bar was closed for a couple of days after the Labor Day weekend. That was one of the draws for us and it was closed! It was about Wednesday, when a couple swam under the chains and sat at the bar waiting to get served and the bartender would not serve them until the manager came out and gave his ok. That really upset me, so I asked the manager why it wasn't open and he said because they didn't have a lifeguard available and it was a state law. Well the lifeguard was sitting right there and didn't bother opening the bar up. I had seen him sitting there the previous days when the bar remained closed. According to the manager, IT IS the lifeguards job to open the bar. Obviously, someone drop the ball! After I mentioned it to the manager, the bar was open for the rest of our vacation. Shame though, because they could have made allot of money during those few days it was closed. I guess it was because it was the end of the season. But at the same time, people were arriving as we left on September 13th. It was one of the busier hotels on the strip for that time of the year. Other then the problem with the swim up bar not being open, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The only thing about booking this hotel is read the fine print only one car per room so u are joining someone u have to park down the street ,My husband was already at the beach and was gonna join us for a vacation with the grand kids but when he was told he had to park down the street he went back home he had alot of expensive golf equipment with him […] and wasnt going to park his vehicle somewhere else . Also there was a issue when they cleaned our room we woke to no wash cloths with a baby and two adults thank goodness we had bath sponges other than those minor issues the location and everything else was great .I would recommend this hotel if u are the driving the only vehicle Continua a leggere
