Rivergreen Resort Lincoln

Our room was not ready when we got there, then it was still dirty when we did get into it. The beds are horribly uncomfortable. The fee's they charge are silly for the lack of service there is. No house keeping, breakfast, or bar. The resort has a great location, probably the best in the area: it's off the highway, but close to everything. It's quiet. We had a hotel room -no complains about it, average room. The jacuzzi was way too noisy, could not use it. We did not see any "family barbeque area" advertized on their site. Comparing to the other hotels we recently stayed: Coffee […] in the hotel was available only in the morning, and there were only 2 packages in the room, no decaf, no tea. They don't do daily housekeeping, so I guess you'd have to ask for more if you stayed longer than 2 days. BE AWARE: they charge a resort fee of $20 which WAS NOT in the confirmation email from hotels.com. I had the email printed, but the clerk insisted that the email should have a fine print and for some reason showed me one from expedia saying that it is all the same. I still don't understand why I had to look at a sample email from a site where I had NOT booked instead of mine... Obviously because you don't have a choice at that moment. Continua a leggere

Great location for activites at Loon Mountain. Convenient to food and shopping, right off 93. Restful and relaxing.

Location is great and romms were very clean. The beds were very uncomfortable. Nice pool and great views.

Not paying for any hotel that expects me to house keep the room I'm paying for. The front desk staff are friendly but that doesn't make up for the various signs all over the facility. The first thing they tell you when they check in is to carry your trash to the garbage chute or they will charge you. When you get to the chute- there are multiple signs […] that say state "Please Place the Garbage in the Chute" as if your guests are children. If you stay multiple nights- they will not clean the room until you leave. Cost savings sure, normal hotel practice- not really. There are odd signs all over the hotel commanding you to do this or not do that- as if all the guests are children or uncivilized. I guess this is a mixed condo/rental property and the owners are upset w/ their condo fees- but this is pushed onto those paying for a night or two- and the over all feeling isn't particularly comfortable. It is clean but for the price you may as well save 1/2 the $s and stay at the Best Western or Econolodge where they will change your sheets, vacuum your room,take out your garbage and not treat you like a neanderthal. The quality of the beds and unit are the same. Stay only if there are no other properties available. Continua a leggere

when i took a shower after we checked in, the tub back filled with water up to my calves. called hotel desk it took over 3 1/2 hours for the women to come fix tub it was clogged with hair. my other half had to wait till the tub was fixed to take her shower. also we had a room for my mother in 414a she had the same problem when she took her shower. she […] did not call the desk, and told me about it the next day after we checked out Continua a leggere

The service was outstanding. Very caring and want to make their guests happy. Very small bedrooms can barely turn around in them.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff was friendly, it was in a great location, perfect for walking to and from bars and restaurants and the bedding was super soft. All well priced. I would recomend this hotel to anyone visiting the Lincoln, NH area.

We arrived at the resort and got our room,they gave us a non smoking room but we reserved a smoking room.They didnt have the room we reserved so they upgraded our room so that we could have a smoking room without any extra charge.They were very helpful and i would gladly stay again

I spent one night at the Rivergreen Resort during Memorial Day weekend. The service at the front desk and the views from the hotel were nice. I was dissatisfied with the room for a number of reasons, however. The worst part was the bed. The mattress was hard, like sleeping on a floor, and there were no sheets on the bed, just a comforter and a fitted […] sheet. The comforter was very slippery so it kept sliding off the bed during the night. The room also looked poorly maintained; there were two burnt-out light bulbs in the room, and underneath the bed it was dirty. There was also no light above the jacuzzi in the bathroom, making it very dark to use. The quality I got here was something I would have expected from a much cheaper motel. If you are going to spend the money to get a nice place, there are several better hotels located very close by. Continua a leggere
