"GREAT HOTEL"
The price is great and so is the room. The staff were warm and friendly and the design is great. We didnt hear a peep from anyone and it was a full house. I would deffinatley recommend this hotel.

"Harbour lights...good customer service."
The hotel was great- great amenities. My only complaint was through the booking company. I reserved a 2 double bed room for 2 adults. When I got there, I was given a room with one bed. I called the front desk and was given a 2 bed room on the spot. Customer service was great.

If I had known that this was a Time Sharing location I would not have made my reservation. The check out time is 10:00 AM and Check In is at 4:00 PM (if you are lucky and I mean lucky.) That gives their staff 6 hours ro get to and clean the rooms but evidently this is not enough time. I had an appointment at 5:00 PM and they waited until 4:45 PM to […] offer me a different room and they charged me. I feel like it was a bait and switch. The pools were not very clean. "During our recent stay @ harbour lights"
On our arrival @ harbour lights we were checking in @ the hotel had us wait because they had our arrival time wrong even thou we had confirmation for the right date, on our 1st day we went to our rooms @ unpacked. we called the front desk to tell them we didn't have an iron or a remote for dvd player in our room @ they said they would have house keeping […] bring us one, but they never came, we called again @ we still didn't get the iron or dvd remote, ok on the 2nd day again we called front desk @ they asked us this question ( did housekeeping bring you those things ? ) @ again we said no. they said they would send housekeeping again with an iron, but they didn't have any more remotes for the dvd player. but we still didn't recieve an iron so finally i called front desk @ told them to forget the iron we'll just go @ buy one, all we got from harbour lights were appoligies. their housekeeping sucks, but other than that we had a pretty good stay. would i recommend harbour lights to friends @ family i probably would. i can't really blame this one insident on our whole stay. i enjoyed our stay @ harbour lights. other than not being able to iron our clothes or watch dvds. our stay was pretty good. i give them a B+ rating. i reccomend anyone checking into harbour lights or any hotel to make sure you check twice that your arrival date is correct @ you have confirmation for the right date that way there will not be a waiting period for them to correct there mistakes. i would visit harbour lights again @ by then maybe they will have gotten there housekeeping together. thanks NB Continua a leggere
"Gone down hill!"
Don't let the word RESORT fool you...My first stay at Harbor Lights in Myrtle Beach was around 5-6 years ago. I must say it has really changed since then; unfortunately not for the good. Upon check in, the front desk greeted me without ever even looking at me. For almost the first minute, he was so busy finishing up something else to even bother to […] look up and acknowledge that I was a human being. After check in, we located our room and when we entered it was 85 degrees. The thermostat was not allowing the air to come on. We called the front desk and they said maintanance would be right there to take a look. 10 minutes later I called back and requested a room change. The front desk reception said they would have to check to make sure they had one and they would call right back. Right back to me means 5-10 mins tops in a hot room. After calling back a third time, front desk said they had a room but had to verify it was ready...mind you this is 10:30pm. Maintance then finally shows up to tell us that it will only take 15 minutes for him to fix the A/C but first he had to get with the tenents in room A because he had to work on it from their end. Hot and annoyed, we got in the car and drove back to the check in building. My husband too furious to discuss the situation told them we needed a new room. They were able to give us a room with working A/C but it still gets worse. When we got to our room to get settled in, I found there were only two super skinny pillows on the queen bed. I didn't expect top notch bedding but these pillows were so skinny and cheap, I can't even begin to express...There was a black hair on one of the wash cloths. I don't know how cleaning service couldn't have noticed it since they folded it in such a fantastic fan shape to hand it on a bath towel? This place is not a place I would consider staying the next time I visit Myrtle Beach. Continua a leggere
The hotel area was very quiet and peaceful. It is a little isolated for activities that are in the surrounding area. You can not walk but have to drive everywhere that you would like to go to have entertainment. It is not located near the beach or a golf course.
"Great mini-vacation"
Our family met at Harbour Lights in July 2011. We stayed in the 2 Bd Condo. We were very pleased with the accommodations. At one point we were hestiant because of reviews related to the closure of a nearby amusement park and mall; however, the Resort property is still located in a highly populated area. There is so much to do. We drove to the nearby […] State Beach Park and mall. We enjoyed the amenities on site also. Our kids used the lazy river, indoor pool, played pool, barbequed....etc. We are happy that we will be able to tell family and friends that Blue Green provided a very comfortable vacation spot for us. Hotel and one Bed Rm Condo---required stair climbing. Not a problem for us, but may be a problem for some. Be sure to get a ground level room. 2 Bd, Condos--elevator is available for 2nd and 3rd floor guest. Continua a leggere

"Harbour Lights - STAY AWAY"
Be careful. This location made us wait 4 hours for our room after the promised time. Our room number got switched around 3 times and we ended up with a smaller room.

This place was great!!! Harbor lights rates 5/5. The entire family loved the view, the ambience, cleanness, service and most of all the space in the villa. I was scared at first not knowing this place. Because we know how pictures can be disceiving. Well I was wrong... The kids loved the activities available, esp. Swimming... Thanks again HL

really there is not much of a need to leave the facility, you will have a wonderful time staying at the hotel itself.
"Expected more - even for the price"
This property was located in a deserted town which I guess would have been okay but the upkeep and housekeeping was less than average. It just felt run down for the price and the location was lacking. I just stayed at a magnificent property in Charleston that I paid less for than this property and it was 100% better.

I only wish I was able to stay longer what a great place to stay. It was only a quick stay next time longer and with my hubby!

If you want a location that is convient to just about everything, this is the area. We absolutely loved our unit, 1 bed condo on the intercoastal. The hotel offers many things that we didn't partake of, but we will be going there again. place was beautiful, I was even allowed to catch fish in their many ponds. However they do charge for wireless internet.

Surrounding neighborhood was a bit skeptical but the hotel premisis was very nice. Very close to broadway at the beach, ball diamond, and beach. Pools were really nice!! "Easy to get to, but not impressed"
Booked through hotels.com., but this is more a time share resort property than a hotel. It has nice ammenities, club house, indoor/outdoor pool etc... Room was a bit too small for my taste and it had one of the smallest tv's (19") that I've seen in a long time. Oh and if you are booked on the top floor, be aware, there is no elevator.

I enjoyed my stay over-all... the only upgrade that i would suggest is the tv's ned to be a little bigger ... very comfortable place to stay

However it is not a standard hotel, it's a time share, so you will be confronted with someone who wants to know who you are, where you live, how much money you make, how old you are, and wouldn't you like to take a tour of the facility. The pictures on the web did not reflect the room that we were presented. The room as small and the amenities, such as the 17" TV, left a lot to be desired.

"Convenient"
The hotel was pleasant. The staff for the most part was friendly and compensatable.
"VERY SATISFIED"
The hotel and staff were very helpful. Hotel was very clean and confortable. There were numerous activities for everyone to do or just sit and relax on the balcony and look at the ICW. We had a roon facing the ICW so it was nice to see boats and jet skis going by. We would difinately do this again.
"HARBOR LIGHTS"
This was our honeymoon and the hotel made it very enjoyable. The room was very nice, the overlook to the ICW was very nice, indoor and outdoor pools were great. Awesome Stay. Thank you Harbor Lights.
