Affacciato direttamente sul golfo, l'hotel gode di una vista meravigliosa ed è vicinissimo alle principali attrazioni: spiaggia, negozi e vari intrattenimenti per bambini (giardini, giostrine, scivolo, etc). La camera con vista mare era sufficientemente ampia per ospitare due adulti e due bambini di 9 e 2 anni. La pulizia è senza dubbio eccellente così come la cortesia del personale, soprattutto della reception. La colazione è abbondante, non continentale, e forse un po' troppo ricca di prodotti confezionati.

Hotel in buona posizione rispetto alle principali attrazioni della città, con parecchi ristorantini, trattorie, bar per colazioni nelle vicinanze. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza confortevoli, tenedo conto che ci si rimane solo per fare la doccia e dormire. La moquette avrebbe urgente bisogno di essere sostituita, è proprio usurata dal tempo. Di notte si riposa tranquillamente, i rumori del traffico non arrivano. Il bagno ha spazi decisamente ristretti, una persona sovrappeso potrebbe avere serie difficoltà ad incastrarsi tra water e doccia per usare il bidet. Il personale è cortese e disponibile. Tutto sommato è stato un gradevole soggiorno.

gentilezza e cortesia, pulizia camere e zone in comune ottime, secondo me la pecca dell'hotel e' la zona colazione, scarsa e non troppo ben curata. nel complesso non ne posso parlar male, ci tornerei nuovamente alla prossima occasione

The Standard Hotel is the same as Soglia Hotel. The best thing is that it is very close to everything-cental ttrain station, bus stop, restaurants, etc.The decor was ok although the dark furnishings might be off putting for some. La chambre était magnifique, propre, bien agencée et design impeccable. Bonne nuit et petit déjeuner royal (buffet bien fourni). Bon séjour (à refaire sans hésitation)

Das Hotel war nicht 4 Sterne. Höchstens 2 Sterne Hotel. Bezahlt habe ich für zwei Erwachsene und ein Baby. Das Baby bett war nicht vorhanden. Reception verlange zusätlich gebühren für Baby bett. Parkplatz nicht vorhanden. 20 euro am Tag ist einbischen zuviel verlangt von dem Hotel. Für den Preis gibt es bessere Hotels in der Umgebung. Aprés une bonne nuit (parents + un enfant) et un petit dejeune TRES copieux ,promenade a 200 km alentour + plage (prevoir des sandales pas de sable) balades du soir assez depaysante . gps (navigatore la bas) indispensable , presque tout se regle en liquide ,surtout le stationnement pour la nuit et les restos , nous avons aimés .

Die Wahl des Hotels haben wir wegen der Nähe zum Bahnhof sowie zum Hafen vorgenommen. Die Lage ist denn auch, was uns an diesem Hotel überzeugt hat. Ansonsten haben wir zwar ein geräumiges Zimmer direkt neben dem lauten Lift angetroffen, jedoch eine nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage. Das Frühstücksbuffet war arm.

Hotell seemed nice and the standard and comfort was good concidering the low cost for a double room. Location also perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Also the location right next to the trainstation is great if you're travelling by train and plan to interrail etc. But - and this is one big but - in the evening we uncovered plenty of bloodsucking […] lice/ticks inbetween our bedsheats. On confronting the receptionist with this, we were immediatelly offered a new room, although smaller than the original room. When asking for some sort of compensation for this the night before we left, the only thing we were offered were discount on future stay at the same hotell. Mediocre hotel with an ideal location for InterRailers (situated just around the corner from the central station). When we arrived we realized that the AC was broken which of course made our nights sweaty. This was a great minus but I assume that this is not the way it usually is. The staff spoke English well but they didnt have an iron for my shirt […] which was a disappointment for an hotel with a 4 star rating. We were assigned to a 4 bed apartment with a loft and it was the most spacious room I ever got for 30 EUR per person. Internet was not included and Wi-Fi access was 9 EUR (!) for 24h. Expensive and kind of a cheapskate move. Overall a decent hotel but it sure had it's downs. Continua a leggere

Ubicación muy cercano a la estación de tren Puerta Principe.Se encuentra a unos 20 minutos, 1/2 hora paseando tranquilamente del centro. Edificio antiguo,el ascensor iba por libre funcionaba un poco de aquella manera,aire acondicionado estropeado por tanto la ventana abierta cuando estabamos en la habitación y mucho ruido de la calle a pesar de que […] estabamos en un callejón (recomiendo tapones para los oídos para dormir por la noche), vistas a la pared del edificio de enfrente.Habitación en la 5a planta,en tres niveles y no adaptada, muchos escalones: lavabo (pedimos 1 cambio de habitación ya que disponía de ducha y nos interesaba con bañera,muy bien nos dieron la de al lado,no reponían el jabón 2 tristes botecitos para 6 dias);comedor con mesa y sillas,cocina de adorno no operativa,tampoco había vajilla y nevera que apenas enfriaba y 2 camas individuales;en el último nivel cama de matrimonio y tv muy pequeña.Todo el edifio enmoquetado,no recomendable para alérgicos. Desayuno buffet libre,abundante pero repetitivo:el mismo embutido y las mismas pastas dulces cada día (eso sí muy buenas). Amplia variedad de bolsitas de té.Encontré a faltar fruta fresca (sólo pusieron 2 días). Personal: recepción y comedor agradables (el dia de salida nuestro tren partía tarde y nos dejaron ampliar el horario de salida de la habitación un par de horas); sra. de la limpieza nos tiraba jaboncito de las manos y botes a medio usar de gel (que tuvimos que poner del hotel anterior del que veníamos) y no reponía con nuevos,la limpieza un poco lo que ve la suegra (es decir por encima) Ofrecían sauna y jacuzzi,éste último no funcionaba (según recepción desde hacía 1 mes) Fotos de la página web poco que ver con la realidad. Bra transferhotel med 5 min promenadavstånd till tågstationen. Stora fräscha rum, ingen AC, stor frukostbuffe, dåligt ljudinsolerade rum så om man är känslig för ljud bör man nog ta ett annat hotell. Vi bad om ett rum som inte är mot gatan, fick då ett rum på gaveln vilket man forfranade stördes av ljudet. Kvarteret var typsikt som det brukar vara runt […] tågstationer, men 10-15 min promenad kommer man till mer trevliga kvarter. Bra frukost med det nödvändigaste, trevlig personal. Continua a leggere

Beliggende 50 meter fra hovedbanegården i en rolig ensrettet gade med enkelte butikker, var en af de gode ting ved hotellet - Centralt og let at komme til. Meget serviceminded, smilende og flersproget personale. Værelset var fint, omend aircondition anlægget larmede lidt, og det nok er nogle år siden, der sidst er blevet restaureret. Morgenbuffeten […] var ikke særlig indholdsrig. Alt i alt et rigtigt godt hotel til at overnatte på, og bruge som base, når man skal ud og opleve byen.. Continua a leggere

"Ingen aircondition i 30graders varme!"
Dette er bestemt ikke et 4stjernet hotel! Ved ankomst, fredag aften, virker vores aircondition ikke. Det er 30grader varmt og der er umådelig varmt i vores værelse. Vi får af vide at det er hele hotellets aircondition, som er i uorden, men at de prøver at få det fikset hurtigst muligt. Efter 2 dage uden aircondition, indser vi at det ikke bliver lavet […] foreløbigt, og det nok har stået sådan på i lang tid. Sidste nat mister vi tålmodigheden og får til sidst lov at låne receptionens blæser. Flere gange oplevede vi at elevatoren ikke virkede, og personalet trak på skuldrene, genstartede den og så igen ud som om at de havde de prøvet mange gange. Nu var vi 2 unge piger som boede på hotellet, men for ældre mennsker må det have været en prøvelse. Nabolaget er ikke det mest hyggelige, og da vi snakkede med nogen lokale blev de meget forfærdet over hvor vi boede. Continua a leggere

"Das Hotel verdient keine 4 Sterne"
Wir waren 2 Tage in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel hat keine eigene Parkplätze, die Zimmer dreckig, Flecken auf dem Teppich, auf der Decke. Riesige Klimaanlage direkt neben dem Bett, die kann man auch nicht ausschalten. Wir sind alle krank geworden. Die Lage - sehr lebendige Straße, viele Drogenabhängige und Alkoholiker, Nachts sollte man am besten im Hotel […] bleiben. Frühstück - mangelhaft, 1 Sorte Wurst und Käse in Würfel geschnitten, sonst nur Marmelade und abgepackter Jogurt. Wir würden nie wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. "Unkonventionell"
Die Lage ist sehr zentral, das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und als besonders nett habe ich empfunden, dass ich trotz normaler Auscheckzeit bis 12.00 Uhr um 14.00 Uhr nochmal mein Zimmer zum duschen und mich umziehen benutzen durfte, bevor ich zum Flughafen fuhr.. Das ist ein seltenes Entgegenkommen.

The room was big enough and comfortable, but not so clean. The carpet needs to be changed, the bathroom wall had mould. The breakfast was also poor. This should not be a 4stars hotel.

In general this is a nice hotel in front of the principe rail station of Genova. The bathroom was very clean but on the other hand the rest of the room was dusty and the carpet also. Another thing the bed was concave, not so good for the back.

"Hotel Standard - Four Fading Stars"
This hotel is definitely not a 4* hotel, at least the rooms we had. It may have been a 4*, but long years (decades) have passed since then. What never could make 4*: first we had a dark small room with windows to a dark internal court, with a few meters to the opposite rooms' window. Then I requested another room, the woman at the reception and a man […] (a manager?) decided to swap the room to a brighter one. Thanks for them, it saved our holiday. Our second room was better. Its windows also looked at a court, but it was a bright, spacious court. (They mentioned 'giardano', but only 1 or 2 plants represented the world of gardens. But no problem, it was far better than the other one.) However, this is still not a 4* room. No problem, we probably would not spend the real price of a 4* room, and this room was really not too expensive, even for a 3* price level. One thing that was probably OK when it was really a 4*: only one of the 2 elevators are working, and there is no staircase (only in case of fire), so we had to wait for the lift a lot. There were also smaller problems in this room: it had a kitchenette, but no kitchen tools at all. And it was good this way, because the cooker did not work at all. The fridge was so noisy that we switched it of for the nights, as we could not sleep from its noise. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, but it was dark, a single lamp (that would just fine for shaving) was the light for the whole long room. The TV was quite small, but it does not really matter, as only Italian channels could be seen. The room also was a little bit in the evenings, there were too few or wrongly distributed light sources. The parking is really a pain, but we knew it in advance from the Hotels.com page of the hotel, so no surprise: this is related to the place of the hotel: small and crowded streets, huge traffic in this area of Genoa. By the way: the hotel is rather good for the ones who want to walk in Centro Storico, in the Porto Antico, etc. Continua a leggere
