Hotel comodo e utile per famiglie con possibilita di cucina in posizione abbastanza comoda ai mezzi (15 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana). Aspetto negativo la scarsa cortesia e disponibilita dello staff.

Can't fault the Golden Sands. It served my needs.Have stayed in a few GS both for work and on holiday. Would like it better if you could buy a drink, but you can't complain about the price. Good location. Nice room. Great pool on top of no. 5. Nice people every where and good help all the time! We have been to Dubai before but this time it was the best! If you are going to Dubai and to want to stay cheap and have the best location around you stay here!

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff are helpful and nice, I have not tried the pool on 1/F but tried the pool on the rooftop which is also nice. The room is spacious and all kitchen utensils are there so it's easy for you to make meals, only the toilet is a bit old and it would be better to have some refurbishment.

No view from the small balcony, but all amenities one could ever want. One of the nicest places I've stayed for the price.

Nice and clean

We stayed in golden sands 5. Overall experience was nice and had no problems. its specially good for those ppl (indians or pakistanis) who wants to visit Meena bazar as its just at 10 mins walk from there.

Hotel staying was good, good location. While checking out requested for a taxi, the person at the reception arranged a taxi (indian guy) who charged us more than the regular taxi rate to the airport.

Minus: mould i the bathroom

It was a money saver but the bathrooms need updating i stated in no5 four years ago i stayed in no 10 and it was fine bathroom need redecorating

For the price and compared to some other hotels priced at relatively the same prices, this one is one of the better hotels in the area. A bit of walking distance from Metro and other places, but not too far away. I would go again to this hotel.

Please note there are a few golden sands in same area and they have a number, say Golden Sands 3, 5, 11, etc. When we present the hotel confirmation to the taxi driver, it didn't specific which Golden Sand, so cause some frustration to him and at end he just dropped us off at GS 3, indeed we are supposed to check in at GS 5; but fortunately, it is only […] 100m away (at 1am!) Overall, the quality of facility is satisfactory for this price, it is an acceptable 3~4 star level; it is clean and room is spacious. Staff are helpful. However, breakfast quality is just on average. There is a long walking distance to the metro station, almost 15 ~ 20 minutes and not a lot of cover, imagine summer time would be tough. The check in at the hotel was bad experience.Service with no smile.No internet connection,faulty wire to connect internet was given and not replaced till the end. Hotel apartmrnt with absolutely no class. Always found many people standing at the enterance of the hotel giving impression of a cheap joint.

Everything was as advertised. It is a little aged, but they do their best to take care of you during your stay. Everything in the apt worked, house keepers were excellent. Hotel staff were professional at all times and never acted like the customers were bothersome like some other hotels. Its a nice quiet place, no worries about late night music from […] the clubs. If you just want to be away from it all, have peace and quiet and relax, this is the place for you. There is a Spinney's Grocery store 2 blocks down the road. It has just about everything you could possible need for your stay. One tip though : Write down the address because alot of taxi's dont know where Golden Sands is. And if they do find it, there is no telling what Golden sands they will put you in. There are 10 of them i believe. You might want to call them in advance to ask which one do you check in to. Breakfast could have been a little better. There were quite few dishes I wanted to have. Hot dishes looked anemic, even they were tasty. I missed more different kinds of bread or rolls. Staff at the hotel were unable to give us directions to places of interest. It would be helpful if they could ave assisted with directions, bus stop locations etc. The room was very nice except for the run down bathroom very poor standard.

i stayed at this hotel with my family for 4 nights. all of agree we had a great time. wanted to extend for another 2 nights but reception advised it was fully booked

The Golden Sands 3 Hotel is located in an area in close proximity to the Burjaman Mall as well as other near apartment hotels. It is conveniently located also close to the Dubai Metro for ease in getting around Dubai. The rooms are clean and our suite slept 4 very comfortably.

Getting a bit "dated" and the ceramic tiles/grouting need replacing.

Everything was nice, however it is not a 4 star hotel. Solid 3 stars. pros: pretty big rooms (had 2 room studio in building 3), 2 bathrooms, price vs hotel is fair, service is good, rooms are clean, pool on a roof (no towels @ pool area), food is good, staff are friendly, everyone speak English well, taxi any time you need it. cons: WIFI is NOT in […] a room, it is downstairs in a lobby or in a restaurant. TV only in a living room, mattress is too hard, everything is older than you would expect. Fantastic Front line Service. All the taxi drivers know the location. Walking distance to BurJuman shopping mall and others- Spinneys grocery shop. Very surprised on the size and inclusions of the apartment. Spacious and clean. Daily serviced - 2 swimming pools and Business Centre for Emails. We could ask for nothing more. These apartments were excellent for the money. Would definately stay again. Easy access to major sights by taxi which was extremely affordable.

I have a pleasant stay in this hotel. clean, fresh sheet, and pillow cases daily. Big space studio room. The only thing when they confirmed your reservation , they should put which Golden Sand Hotel your gonna go to. They have I think 10 or 11 Golden Sands Hotel. But I will stay in this Hotel again.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very easy to get to from there. The staff were very helpful and overall I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Stayed at GSH 3 (there are 10 adjacent buildings I think - best to check first at their counter at the airport which hotel you are staying). Good service for the price. Online booking is less expensive than walk-in rates. It's a long 15 minute walk in the quiet residential buildings/neighborhood from the metro station. this was our 4th stay in golden sands excellent value for money lovely clean rooms and friendly staff. close to the metro that takes you to all the major places to see .

Hotel ideal located near shopping mall and pickup point for Dubai Sighteseeing bus tour - a must. Hotel pool ideal for relaxing lounging before hitting the shopping malls. Taxi's in Dubain are easy to obtain and Taxi ride back to apartments from both the Emirates & Dubai Mall & even to airport are very reasonable. Would stay here again.

Golden sands are 1,2,3,4,5,..... numbered buildings. My booking was not specified. as a result: I needed to roam around with my family, paying taxi a fortune.

I was very happy with my stay at Golden Sands. I was looking for somewhere cheap, and it was extremely comfortable and roomy given the cost of the room. I stayed in the Golden Sands 3 for 10 nights. No major complaints. Laundry service was prompt. Front desk service was pleasant and helpful. Room had a queen bed, small couch, love seat and small kitchenette with a few dishes. However, the polish of a four-star hotel is notably absent. The door was a bit loose and would rattle through the night. I put […] a brochure in the door to keep it from rattling all night. The bed was rock hard. This old hotel/apartment poorly maintained. Specially the gym. Most equipments are broken, rusty and not clean. The front desk/reception are not fluent in English and not very customer service oriented or friendly. They're full of excuses everytime you ask for something.

My wife and I stayed at Golden Sands 5 Hotel Apartments in Dubai for over a month in 2011. The place is now very old. It has been there for ages and doesn't seem to have been renovated at all. The bathroom / shower is quite substandard. The rust-covered stove, fridge, kitchenware, etc should have been replaced years back. They are ancient and repulsive. […] The staff is courteous but not efficient enough. We arrived there just before midnight after a very long trip and the front desk employees couldn't find our booking in their system. They kept us waiting in the lobby for more than one hour before they finally found our reservation. Even then, they tried to send us to Golden Sands 3 because of a mistake in their system. Bottom line, if they have a very very good offer / low rate, this place is acceptable. However; with their regular rate, I'm not sure it's worth it. Continua a leggere

My wife and I have stayed in both the Golden Sands #3 and #5, which offer Studio apartments. They are adjoining properties and the following comments apply to both locations. All visits have started with friendly greetings from the staff, no matter how late we arrive because of flight schedules. Checkin is simple and they are prepared for your arrival. […] Your luggage is taken care of as the Bellman shows you to your room. The rooms are clean. Bathrooms, kitchens, dishes, floors, and windows, all clean. If their is something you need, or is missing, one phone call to the front desk will get you a can opener, a toaster, or a converter for an electrical outlet. The delivery is always accompanied by a smile. We enjoy the location. The neighborhood feels safe, and many destinations are within walking distance, including shopping malls and grocery stores. Taxis are easy to catch, as they make frequent passes by the hotels. The metro is not far away, either. If we are in Dubai again, we will stay at The Golden Sands. The room rates are very good considering all the included amenities. We would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to Dubai. Continua a leggere
