Siamo andati in bassa stagione (aprile) e abbiamo preso un'offerta in camera "superior". Per essere un tre stelle, in camera superior, l'hotel è stato un pò deludente. La manutenzione del bagno veramente scarsa, nel senso che le mattonelle e i servizi sembrano un pò vecchi, anche se era tutto pulito. La camera nelle foto rende molto meglio!! La colazione […] è continentale a buffet, niente di particolare, molto nello standard, a parte lo yogurt greco che era buonissimo ma presente un solo giorno su tre :(((( Il personale è cortese, nessuna impressione negativa. Posizione a metà tra la città vecchia e la costa occidentale. Vicino c'è un rental di auto e scooter molto interessante nei prezzi e ragazzi molto gentili. Siete proprio di fronte al Casinò, forse in alta stagione ci sarà un pò di rumore, informatevi. Prenotato con una super offerta, questo hotel è perfetto! In meno di dieci minuti si è nella città vecchia (ottima per curiosare e camminare ma per mangiare meglio stare nella città nuova, lontano dalle mura). Staff gentilissimo, sempre pronto a rispondere a ogni richiesta. In camera aria condizionata, frigo e tutto ciò che serve. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, molto vicino alla spiaggia, al centro della città, e alla parte storica. La stanza era decorosa e pulita. Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo forse dovuto al fatto che il nostro weekend cadeva in bassa stagione (febbraio 2011). Abbiamo apprezzato la vicinanza al centro (sia Rodi vecchia che nuova raggiungibili a piedi), alla spiaggia (10' a piedi, ma che per via della stagione non abbiamo usufruito) e a un parcheggio gratuito […] sempre nella zona della spiaggia. Le camere sono ampie, confortevoli, pulite e con un terrrazzino che d'estate immagino molto comodo per stendere i teli mare. Il bagno piccolo, ma sempre pulito. Ci hanno cambiato le salviette tutti i giorni, non era necessario, ma abbiamo apprezzato. Il personale disponibile, gentile, parla inglese e un pò di italiano. Insomma ci si capisce. Abbiamo cenato una sera al ristorante convenzionato: i prezzi medio-alti mi hanno scoraggiato nel cenare tutte le sere però devo dire che la qualità è buona e lo sconto per i clienti dell'hotel è stato apprezzato. Il cameriere parla italiano. Infine la colazione, leggendo i commenti me la aspettavo di bassa qualità, invece c'era tutto ciò che si può desiderare per una colazione continentale. E' vero, manca la varietà degli hotel di lusso, ma se vi accontentate di una colazione che abbina dolce (tortine, cereali, latte, caffè, the, marmellate, fette biscottate, yogurt, miele) e salato (uova, prosciutti, formaggi, eggs and bacon) è l'hotel che fa per voi. Siamo stati in questo Hotel la prima settimana di ottobre 2010. Ottime temperature e ottimo Hotel. Le camere sono complete di tutto l'occorrente e pulite e la colazione continentale è buona (anche se l'orario 7.30-9.30 è parecchio limitativo). Premesso che gli standard degli alberghi greci non è altissimo, questo albergo ha secondo me due grandissimi […] pregi: 1) la posizione centralissima!!! 50 metri dal mare, circondata da ristoranti e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia 2) il convenientissimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Si può avere una camera ad un prezzo bassissimo per una buona qualità. Chi è in cerca di un albergo ricercato, molto curato nei dettagli (arrdamento etc) non troverà tutto questo nel City Center. E', a mio parere, un'ottima soluzione per chi pretende un'ottima posizione, una camera carina e pulita ma senza eccessivi fronzoli ed un prezzo con il quale da noi non si trova nemmeno un ostello! The hotel is situated in one of the best cross roads in the city just across the Rhodes casino and 100mr from the "Eli" beach. And i mean everything from a pharmacy to a doctor or a super market.The Lady in the reception is a plus for the hotel and the people that serve your drinks in the cafe get a 9 plus too. Oooops i forgot ...the elevator works just fine for an old hotel. So you pick up your key ,and straight for the nice elevator and Ooooops you open the door towards the corridor ! Be prepared. If our rating until now,was a 9 plus and even a 10 for the price, well the rest of the story is not good ( in most parts ) .Corridor is narrow. Painting everywhere is old and worn. Doors are old and the interior ones ( bath) sometimes refuse to close :) !The overall " inside the room" picture is POOR. You expect alot more because the outside impressions are miles above THIS.But , but , but the bath has everything you need and hot water is there even in the early morning. The towels should not be left on a small chair. Please hang the towels ! Balcony is superb for morning coffee. The room cleaner does a good work .Skip the morning bouffet. Lovely hotel, easy to find from the bus stop using the directions on the website, very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Noisy in our room at the front the first night but we asked to be moved to a quiet room at the back for the rest of our stay and this was done without any trouble. Very good value for money .... perhaps a bit noisy from certain rooms but this is to be expected. Get a room on a side street as high as possible. The restaurant below is very pleasant and hotel clientel get a 10% reduction on all meals and drinks.

This hotel is about 1km from the old town of Rhodos. The staff are friendly & helpful. The casino is across the road if that is your poison! There is a fabulous contemporary art gallery 300metres away. A few bars, restaurants, coffee shops, general store, pharmacy, the aquarium, etc etc are very handy.

I spent the last 2 nights of an 11 night trip to Rhodes at the end of the 2011 season. My previous nights were in Lindos and I came to stay in Rhodes town to go view some rental propertys close by. I booked and paid my first night online which was straight forward - sadly on deciding to stay the second night the Visa machine was out of service and i […] had to go to an ATM on the morning of my departure. But was not a problem. Breakfast was pleasant and generally my stay was fine although people in neighhouring rooms on my floor did have loud conversations from one end of the hall to the other at all hours which was disturbing and a little disconcerting to a female travelling alone. Sadly the WIFI signal did not reach the rooms but I was able to plug my powerlead into the mains in the breakfast area and sit and use the wifi there . Although this was not comfortable for all day use and i ended up wandering off to find a neighbouring coffee shop with cosy sofas to sit for a few hours. Overall - the staff were friendly and helpful and in general i would say that my stay there was very nice. i would definately stay there again. The location of this hotel, for its great price, couldn't be better - just a short walk to the harbour and the old town, in an area of lovely restaurants, all very affordable. Very friendly and helpful staff, happy to go out of their way for us. Great breakfast spread. Would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend to others!

I stayed at the City Centre Hotel in Rhodes for one night, en route from Corfu to Kalavarda. It was everything I wanted, and reasonably priced, but the big bonus was the attitude of the hotel proprietor, who helped me out with a couple of problems to do with car hire, and also was kind enough to let me use his office to print out my boarding passes […] for our return journey, which I'd been unable to do in the UK. It took us quite a bit of time locating the hotel. We arrived in Rhodes by ferry and guided by google maps, we tried to reach there through the old town (the hotel was stated to be 10mins from the old town). However, no-one knew of the hotel and some were even puzzled by the address (copied from Expedia). The room was clean but the furniture looked […] somewhat old. The bathroom shower had a latch to support the showerhead which fell off when I tried to use it. We were not provided with daily change of soap/shampoo as is expected in a hotel. The balcony of our room faced another hotel which had gone out of business. The room amenities in the expedia website mentions "Wireless high-speed Internet access (complimentary)". We were informed by the reception that free internet access was only available in the hotel lobby; for internet in the room, we had to purchase a card (various time options). They could not provide the card we wanted over the four days we stayed there. It's good we had our own laptop, for the other computers in the lobby charged 1 euro for 20mins use. Once in the hotel, the receptionists tried to help as much as they could with directions, bus timings, etc.. The hotel is indeed a 10min walk from one of the gates of the old town and once you got used to the location, it was okay. There are quite a few eateries in the locality, so we did not use the 10% discount card provided for the restaurant on the ground floor. Continua a leggere

As the name suggests this hotel is ideally placed in the centre of the main town, with plenty of shops/restuarants near by. Beach/harbour is only a few hundred metres away. If you are into gambling the casino is directly opposite the hotel. While it wasn't the height of luxury, it was clean, in a good location and with helpful and polite staff. The room was sparsely furnished but everything worked and the bed was comfortable.
