The hotel is locates in a very nice area.

The hotel had character and charm, unlike some ultra modern hotels. Great location for bargain shopping and souvenirs from the souks. The creek area is 5 minutes walk. Hotel provides free bus to beach area every day and 3 airport drop off times! Only down side, our room (109)was above bar area, so somewhat noisy at times. Swimming pool and sun area […] not large enough when hotel is full! Good buffet breakfast, a little slow on filling up again, but who is in a hurry anyway ! Would return here again . Situated int the heart of the older section of Dubai, it is an excellent starting point to explore this unique city. The Musuem is very well done and is across the street. For water taxi access, simply walk a hundred meters on the other side of the museum. the hotel is tastefully done in Arabian decor with a wide choice of resaurants. The Hotel fullfilled all expectations for my business purpose trip. VERY friendly and helpfull staff everywhere. Will deffinately come back. It wuld be great with free wifi included also in the rooms - at leat in the executive rooms.

We only had two days in Dubai. We picked the best hotel for location. We were able to see old Dubai and new Dubai from our hotel. The hotel is very near the red line bus, it was perfect. The staff were over the top nice and we really enjoyed our stay.

Good location to old dubai, river ,markets and shops. Very good breakfast buffe too, small pool area but good and clean! Nice little cosy spa and nice Indian restaurant in the hotel with very tasty food! Aversge very good for a small cost! And not too far from airport either...

Got upgraded to an executive room, very friendly and helpful staff. Dubai museum is just across the street and the riverbus (the boat that can take you across the river) is just several blocks away. A very nice hotel and very affordable.

Excellent location for enjoying old Dubai -- next to Meena Bazar, Gold souk, Spice souk, Creek boat sevice. Very good breakfast (included). Should use the free airport shuttle sevice -- needs 1-day advance booking -- quite frequent. Early january was an excellent time to visit Dubai.

Tho the stay is short but it was pleasant. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. Easy access for taxi services too.

Very hospitable staff, excellent buffet, very comfortable stay. Very good food and live Sitar music in Indian Restaurant in the Hotel. One of the best hotels .

Stayed for two nights on a stopover on route to a Delhi business trip. Good, reasonably priced hotel opposite the Dubai Museum and within walking distance of the Creek. Excellent steak in the Sherlock Holmes bar in the hotel. Free shuttle service back to the airport. Possibly worth enquiring if they offer a pick up service as well.

This was the second time that my husband and I have stayed at the Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa. We noticed some minor renovations from when we were there two years ago and we liked what we saw. This time, we also ate in the Indian restaurant on site and the food was delicious. We had a city view this time, overlooking the Dubai Museum. You can also […] see the Grand Mosque, the Dubai Creek, and on a clear day the Arabian Sea just on the over side of the creek. The hotel has easy access to public transportation - taxi, bus, metro. If I didn't arrive so late into Dubai, I would've never had checked into this place. Thankfully, it was for one night only. The bathroom smelled like old sweat or urine. It was pretty disgusting. I thought maybe it was the linens, but they smelled fine. Furnishings were old and worn. Room service line was constantly busy and I had to go through the […] reception to have them call me. Odd that they were that busy at 1AM. I had to wait about an hour to make an international call because I was told it required operator assistance and she was on break. The hotel is next to a mosque and it sounds like the imem is screeching in your ear at 5AM. I'm in Dubai quite often and there are other hotels that are much better, cleaner, and modern for the price. Try Ibis Hotel Al Rigga (small, but very nice and modern) or for a little more you can usually get a really nice room at the Sheraton Four Points. Don't stay here! Continua a leggere

Nice hotel in the old part of Dubai, which provided a certain arabic feel in a city that feels like las vegas. Nice spacious (and quiet) room, nice restaurants and bar (although with no premier league football). Pool area is on the small side, but we never had any problems with capacity, so no complaints. Close to Dubai museum, the creek and the souks, […] and pretty close to Bur Juman Mall, which is a bit more relaxed and down to eart than the other big malls. Overall really pleased with our stay, we felt very welcomed and experienced great service all the way. I would probably go back to this hotel in the future, it provided great value for money. Nice hotel. Just opposite to Dubai Museum. Good service, clean rooms.

This hotel is located next to Dubai museum. The rooms are pretty spacious and the furniture is nice. However the beds could be a bit softer, especially the extra bed we got for our daughter. Otherwise the rooms are well maintained and clean. One thing regarding the hotels in the Ruler's court area that is not that "fun" is that you are not allowed […] to keep the windows open in the room. One had to request the window to be opened by the staff. And it was only allowed to be open for a shorter period. And for us who don't like to sleep under an A/C all night long this is not a good option. Regarding the area were the breakfast is served, it could be a bit larger in size. Several of the days when we were going for breakfast it was a queue waiting to be seated. Otherwise the breakfast is ok, especially nice is the selection of warm dishes. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. Especially the ones working at the entrance of the hotel. A small note regarding the WiFi that is available in the hotel. It is quite pricey (for what you get) and it is very slow. This service should be complimentary due to the low speed that is provided. Continua a leggere

The Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa is a 'niche' hotel with an Arabian themed 'look' located in a neighborhood without many other hotels or the usual tourist amenities. It's across the street from the Dubai Museum and easy walking distance to the Old Souk (very disappointing) and the Creek ferries (very worthwhile). There is a Metro station (Al Fahidi) […] about 15 minutes walk away. Hotel is correct, comfortable but used by many tour groups. Otherwise perfectly fine. Nice spa too. Continua a leggere

In general, hotel service was excellent and they were very responsive. Check-in and Check-out were very smooth. The request for early check-in was accommodated (of course with a fee). Breakfast buffet included was excellent. The complimentary drop off at the airport on the way back is very much appreciated - they have only 3 drop offs a day and our […] flight timing coincided well with the shuttle timing. We have stayed here once before and returned because the service was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and well trained. They seem genuinely happy to work there and this translates in their service and attitude. The rooms are compfortable and clean and there is lots of space. The exectutive room with it's added benefits is a bargain and last year […] when we stayed in the family suit with two rooms we had a sensational time. This hotel was conveniently locateed near the older side of Dubai- a taxi to the nearest metro was under 10 dirhams (approx £1.75) and the metro was easy and clean to use (very modern and chic) and stopped nearly all the major landmarks. We would reccomend this hotel to anyone to stay here although the pool is rather a small area and also the bathroom but overall this hotel was a good base for us to travel and see the remainder of Dubai. This hotel is directly opposite the Dubai Museum and also near Meena Bazaar and the Gold Soulk and also within waling distance of the Creek Area and the Bus Station! Ideal place to stay as decently priced but older and traditional hotel and if you want a glitzy hotel then this is not for you.We loved the glitzy hotels but this hotel suited our needs and was within our budget- We had more spending money and time to see the other beautiful areas in Dubai!!! Good hotel, location in old Dubai, close to the Creek, and souks, gold,spice and silk. Hotel staff very friendly,older hotel but good size rooms. need to catch either bus or taxi, not a great cost to shopping malls...would stay again good value for price paid

The hotel was suitably located in the heart of Dubai. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It is a good choice for enjoying the old environment of Dubai. Also, their breakfast buffet is delicious.

The hotel room was well outfitted with all the accessories you expect. Service in the restaurants was very good. The room had two maintenance defects which they offered to rectify immediately. Excellenct value for the price paid. We will use this hotel again on our next stay in Dubai.

Nice hotel generally, close to the creek. Nice room with complimentary coffee which I really appreciate. I liked the room. Quite clean generally, although it had a bad smell, I don't know where it came from, I guess it was random. The breakfast had a variety of European, Arabic and Indian tastes. It was just fine. On a main road in the old part of town. Not very fancy but one block from Dubai Museum and Bastaikiya.

The Arabian Courtyard Hotel is located in a busy part of Dubai next to the Dubai Museum and within walking distance from the waterfront along the creek with restaurant boats cruising the creek. Overall the experience there was good. Staff are wonderful and eager to assist their guests.

I visited Dubai for the first time and I know nothing about the place. But t was easy reaching the hotel since it's popular and also near a popular landmark (the Dubai Museum). The staff's hospitality was good and they co-operated with all my requests. The WiFi was slow and the signal was weak. The restaurant was decently priced. The SPA part is not […] free at all and the price list is on a higher end. Gym and swimming pool was good with free access to the guests. Suana, Steam bath and Jacuzzi were accessible in limited hours with nominal fees. The concierge was helpful with information and tour bookings. I double checked with tour operators about whatever concierge told and what they said matched. It was easy getting taxi just outside hotel and the taxis are good with accurate meters. Since their check-in and check-out time was 12 noon, I have requested for an extended stay till evening expecting at free of cost. The request I placed for the same through Hotels.com booking did not help much and they charged me for extended stay. However, I came to know that they have a store room where the luggage can be stored and collected later in the evening. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Dubai. Had an extended layover for a few days in Dubai and chose to stay at the Arabian Courtyard. It was a relatively inexpensive hotel for Dubai and close to the Museum District. The room was very nice and staff friendly. Part of the value was the free wireless Internet which I sadly found out they discontinued. The manager did sort me out and give me the […] service that was offered when I made my reservation, with little wrangling.  Overall the rooms were very spacious and nice. The hotel is a longish walk to the metro or a $10 cab ride to major shopping areas and attractions. I'd stay there again but they should offer free Internet. Continua a leggere

If, as I did, you wan to stay close to the Souk's, the waterfront activity, cross creek ferries and the remnants of old Dubai, then the location cannot be bettered. You are on top of the Dubai museum and everything else, so unlike anywhere else in Dubai, walking is best and easy. The hotel itself is not super smart in a shiny modern chain way. It is […] quirky and cute without being tacky. Don't expect top Hilton and all will be well. My room was clean, smart and very comfortable if slightly old fashioned. (They did upgrade me to a suite which took about 5 minutes to walk end to end!) Staff we very friendly and very helpful. i went for a family holiday. the hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. we really enjoyed our stay.

We stopped off in Dubai on the return leg of our honeymoon and stayed at The Arabian Courtyard. Although we had stopped in a five star hotel in Langkawi, the standard of service at the Arabian courtyard wasn't any less. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, directly across the street from the Dubai Museum. You are easy walking distance from the old silk souke market and the docks which for on a dollar will ferry you across Dubai creek to the gold souke which is something wonderful to go visit. I also enjoyed spending time at the DUBAI museum across the street and […] walking down to the ministry of culture and architecture's old town showing what life in Dubai was like in older times. Easy public transit to all the glitz and glam of new Dubai with the charm of a more authentic feel. I ate in the silk road restaurant at the hotel at dinner and it was wonderful, and the breakfasts were also very good. I found a duplication on my bill for a restaurant meal when I returned home but a simple e-mail to the hotel and the manager cleared it up instantly. Very good, fast polite service. I have stayed in Arabian Courtyard hotel three times and I can recommed this cozy hotel in the heart of the Dubai heritage area. Check in and check out has always been quick, hotel staff in very friendly, rooms are clean and spacious, and there are plenty of different services available at the hotel. Great hotel, excellent service - would highly recommend.

The hotel is very convenient if one wants to be near the Dubai Musuem or near Bastakiya Village. Otherwise, there is nothing nice about the hotel, which is in a very busy location and is quite tired, frayed and at times dirty.

The hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The room itself was very modern with a very comfortable bed - a very high standard room. The surroundings areas aren't as upscale though - although not unsafe. The real highlight of this hotel is the spa which is an absolute must for anyone who stays. Fair prices and probably one of the best massage experiences […] I have had (relative to my experiences of living in the U.S. and London). It was so relaxing and the room was so lovely, tasteful, sweet-smelling, and immaculately clean that both my husband and I fell asleep during our couples massage! Can't beat the value of this hotel, especially if you are on a budget. If you have a bit more to spend, it's probably wiser to stay in the nicer areas.
