This hotel was a great value for the money. The man at the front desk who checked me in was kind, helpful, and happy to do his job. More service industry workers need to be like him. The biggest thing I would change is the comforters on the bed and a bit of maintenance or updating. Hotel is nice and in a good location. The free breakfast is very good with a decent sized area for eating with a good selection of breakfast food. I seem to have had a not so good experience with my room however. For the hotel rating on Hotels.com, I would have thought my room would have been nicer. The bed was very uncomfortable and somewhat hard for […] my liking. The bedsheets appeared to be well used, thin and slightly tattered. The bathroom had a few issues as well. The tiles and ceiling had some mold, not a lot but nonetheless mold. The shower curtain had 2 to 3 tears in it. The nice white ceramic tub had 2 good sized black chips. The inside of the toilet was scraped up pretty good. Back to the hotel room, one wall was pretty banged up, and the furniture was dated and a bit banged up as well. I think a simple bit of cleaning and maintainence in that room would make it more comfortable to stay in. Not sure if I would stay at this hotel again based on my experience. Clean spacious room with all you would expect of a room for the price. Breakfast was excellent!

It served the purpose for which I was there in Murray, Ut. My son-in-law is in the InterMountain Medical Center for a long term stay and the hotel iis the closest one to it and very satisfactory. They are quite friendly and strive to please everyone. Their breakfast is wonderful. I do wish there was a coffee pot in my room tho. There is a microwave […] and a refrigerator for which I was grateful. It is not a plush 5 star facility, but certainly adequate and clean. They have wi-fi and a computer in the lobby with a printer, which was very helpful. There is a pool and a laundry. Hotel was great: indoor pool, hot tub, nice exercise room, and hot breakfast. No information in room regarding services, pool, exercise gym and breakfast hours and check out time. I had to ask the front desk all of this information. Front desk was not very friendly but the price and amenities made the stay worth it. Would definitely come back.

Surprised by how nice everything is plus a great price. The pool is especially good, and the water is not cold like most hotels these day.

too noisy. You will nogt et any sleep. Need a car for restaurant. Great for uni students who want to come and go all night and talk on their cell phones and keep you awake

Let's get this out of the way. The Pavilion Inn is not a five star resort. But, for the price they offer (significantly less than the nearby Fairfield Inn), you get a wonderful breakfast with fresh cooked bacon, eggs, waffles, fruit and juices that you eat off real plates (not styrofoam or paper). You get a big, clean room with a big LCD TV and cable […] (sorry, no HBO), free WiFi and an indoor pool and hot tub. And you get a friendly, helpful staff (they wired me in with discounts on ski rentals and tickets as well as good places to eat). Highly recommended. Continua a leggere

I knew where it was, I wasn't worried but it is definitely not somewhere I wanted to be in the dark. I went out to my car and was yelled at by some guys standing at their car by the back of the hotel. Next time I'll bring my husband when I go out to my car at 8 pm.

Price doesn't lie. You're not getting a Hilton, but it does the job!

A nice basic hotel. Breakfast was excellent. For the price it was very good.

Not a bad place for the money. Breakfast was good. Remote was broken on the TV and the staff didn't do anything to fix it or make it right. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our family loved the full breakfast and the afternoon cookies. The pool was clean and warm. The staff was accomadating and friendly. We will stay here again.

Our room was filthy. The walls are paper thin. I will not stay again. This was our second stay. The hotel has gone down hill over the last couple of years.

Other than being able to hear things happening in the hallway it was a great place to stay. Wasn't too noisy but a little annoying. The morning breakfast was great!

We stayed four nights to attend General Conference - it was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Salt Lake and located right off the I-15 and close to restaurants, a grocery store and a Walmart. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it had great value for the money, including lots of free amenities. Great free breakfast including bacon and eggs, free laundry […] facilities, free local and long distance calling, free internet, two lobby computers with free printing, free parking, a pool with 24 hr access (although the hot tub was not very hot, and the pool is fairly small, the pool was quite warm and a nice swim). There is coffee/tea/water in the lobby with free cookies in the evening. I found the large lobby stairs very convenient to our 2nd floor room, didn't need to use the elevator even once. If you are not looking for fancy but for convenient, comfortable and a good deal, this is the place to stay. Continua a leggere

We had to find a hotel last minute & I liked the price & from the pictures it looked clean. We were real pleased with our stay. The gym equipment worked, the room was comfortable & the breakfast was great. Nothing real fancy here but it was clean & functional. I would come again.

We found wet wash cloths on the chair when we checked in. We don't think the bed linens had been changed from the last guest, we found hair and other things in the linens. In the morning we found a condom wrapper on the floor tucked under the foot of the bed. The room was noisy also, could hear the people upstairs. Will never stay here again.

This hotel has lots of extras with no charge. Best free breakfast buffet ever, free internet access and 2 computers in the lobby, free indoor pool & hot tub, free cookies. Nice hotel.

Our room was clean, spacious and quiet. The double beds don't seem to be queen size, which I wish they were. The room maid was very helpful & cheerful when we asked for laundry bags and provided them for us. The front desk reception was cold and not friendly. When we checked out we later discovered we had left our cell charger in the room. We returned […] and asked if it had been found. The clerk called and gave us a quick "no". My wife then went back and asked if we could check the room to see if it was still plugged in. The desk clerk called the maid, who did and found it where we thought it was. Another man followed us and said he believed his wallet was left in the room. Again, another call and "no". He had to ask to check the room also. Very nice place to stay for us. Close to what we came to do in Murray Utah and just the right price. We will use it again when in the area.

the hotel was fine but the 2nd lock on the door was broken and i didn't feel real safe

It isn't fancy, could have been a little cleaner, and the eggs are lousy, but I keep going back. It is a good location for me, the staff is very friendly and helpful, aside from the eggs an excellent breakfast, and overall a decent facility.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The price was right, the indoor pool and spa were just what we needed after a long drive and the breakfast was well attended to. We will use it again next trip.

Older hotel, yes, but extremely well-maintained. Very clean, comfortable. Cookies, milk and coffee upon arrival. Pool area was immaculate, warm and inviting even in the cold of March. Breakfast was delicious and inviting. Would definitely recommend this charming stop to business and family travelers.

The only downfall about this hotel was that you could hear whatever was going on in the hall.

Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Easy access to I-15.

Stayed in this hotel for close to 15 years and enjoy it everytime.

This hotel is a good value, and convenient for skiing at Alta, Snowbird, or the other Cottonwood Canyon resorts. It's only 15 minutes from the airport and SLC downtown, and 45 minutes to Alta. The rooms are pretty typical of something in the price range, though I liked the mattress better than most. Nice having a fridge and free wifi. Odd they only […] give you two pillows for a king bed, but we got more pillows on request. Not good for walking anywhere, in case that matters. Good selection of foods at breakfast, but the scrambled eggs wouldn't fool anyone, and yogurt would be nice. Continua a leggere

The hotel has interior corridors which is nice. The pictures are just as they are. Old school bedspreads not triple layer sheeting I'm used too. But room was clean. For a night or two not bad. The pool was nice and breakfast is that typical serve yourself powder eggs. Biscuits and gravy and cereals and make it yourself waffles.

Arrived very late after a long flight and was greeted by friendly staff and everything was in order. Used fitness facility - very basic but at least gets you moving! Breakfast was great with a good selection from cereal to bacon and eggs. Would use it again.

I like the location and rates. It could you a little sprucing up. They really need to invest in their vending machines. Both the bottled machine and snack machine were malfuntioning

This is a nice place a cut above the other similarly priced hotels, which tend to be two-star ratings. The breakfast is decent and the hotel is a bit nicer and not as tacky as some of the other competition. Bath towels were actually not stiff. Te beds were very comfortable, great breakfast options. Close to gas stations and Smiths. Easy to access off the freeway. Friendly service. Limited channels on the tv, but the important ones were there.

We had to spend almost 4 weeks in Murray away from our home d/t medical issues. We found the Pavilion to be close to the hospital and the staff were very pleasant, friendly and accomadating of our needs. Inspite of some of the negative reviews that we had read on Hotels.com, because of the overall positive scores, we decided to give it a shot. Interesting thing is, both the positives were true, and unfortunately, the negatives. We had reserved two adjoining rooms. The staff at the hotel that greeted us was wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The […] cookies in the lobby were amazing, and with three little kids traveling with us, they were a welcome treat. The lobby is amazingly beautiful - a classic lodge feel to it. Once we got upstairs to the rooms, one was reasonably clean (or so it appeared at the time), the other had not yet been cleaned - in fact, it had someone elses clothes (that apparently left in a hurry) on the bed. We called the front desk, and within five minutes, someone was there to clean the room - sorta. The bed was changed and made, but there was still used soap in the bathroom, and a few other instances that showed it really hadn't been cleaned that well. We decided it would be OK for the night. The next morning, we went down for the complimentary breakfast, and it was very nice. Unfortunately, what the hotel appears to have done is converted a small lounge into their breakfast area, and it is very cramped. Food was very good, and someone was there making sure everything was OK. The pool facility is very nice and clean, but the fact that towels are not readily available in the pool room (you have to go ask the front desk), it was a little bit of a hassle. The two rooms that we had for the night appeared to have had their doors kicked in at one point or another, as you could see daylight around one of the doors, and the other, the locking mechanism had been busted. The major disappointment was the next morning when we were packing up to leave, we noticed a mattress that had what appeared to be blood splatter (and a lot of it) on the box springs. This was a very convenient location from the highway yet far enough away not to be noisy. The breakfast was excellent and having a free laundry facility was a plus. The fact that the pool and hot tub was open 24 hours was a plus. The front desk staff were very helpful.
