Albergo posizionato a ridosso della scogliera nella costa occidentale di Tenerife. La vista su Los Gigantes di cui si gode dall'hotel è molto bella e scenografica. Il paese di Puerto Santiago è molto più tranquillo e riservato rispetto a Las Americas, pur non mancando nulla, ma chi cerca negozi, centri commerciali e "lo struscio" serale conviene che vada a Las Americas. Il posizionamento è ideale per escursioni nel nord dell'isola e sul Teide. L'albergo ha un ottimo servizio alla clientela; colazione abbondante (come in tutti i 4 stelle) e cena con buona varietà di scelta. Area piscina bella e attrezzata. Le camere sono ben arredate, ben insonorizzate e con un bel balcone. Le camere più costose sono quelle con vista mare diretta; le altre hanno comunque la vista mare (su un lato, ma con bella vista comunque) ma che possono dare anche sulla strada, su cui proprio di fronte all'hotel si trovano un paio di locali che fanno musica dal vivo (il "route sixty six", molto molto carino); nella settimana dal 2 al 9 di aprile non hanno dato fastidio (a mezzanotte non si sentiva più nulla). La clientela italiana qui è rara perchè si concentra a Las Americas o Costa Adeje che sono sicuramente molto più commerciali, con tante spiagge ampie e una passeggiata molto lunga nel tratto di lungo-mare. A 5 minuti a piedi c'è una piscina naturale fra le rocce ma la graziosa Playa Arena si trova a 5 minuti di auto. In sintesi è l'ideale per chi cerca un un posticino "riparato" a Tenerife.

L'hotel è senza ombra di dubbio il migliore della costa sud. Si trova sulla rocca che separa adeje con las americas ed è un punto di osservazione ottimo. Le stanze sono adeguatamente grandi e pulite. Le piscine sono grandi e pulite, in particolare, la piscina di mare è meravigliosa perché permette di godersi l'oceano da una posizione invidiabile. Personale cordiale. Durante la vacanza ho però trovato 2 difetti: 1) ho chiesto una doppia, ma avuto una matrimoniale; mi hanno proposto di cambiare solo al 4 giorno. 2) il ristorante la rocha ha un pessimo servizio perché il metre è incapace a gestire gli ordini: per 4 persone ci hanno portato solo 2 antipasti dicendo che non avevamo ordinato altro e mai passati per oltra un'ora a chiederci se volevamo altro, tanto che siamo stati costretti ad andaqre a mangiare da un'altra parte; ho parlato col responsabile, ma ancora attendo una sua risposta, come da lui promessa.

l'hotel è pulito il personale cordiale e disponibile le camere sono grandi la posizione dell'hotel ottima adatta per famiglie e non lo consigliero' sicuramente a dimenticavo la cucina e' una favola

Aguamar si trova a Arona (Los Cristianos), a breve distanza dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Spiaggia di Los Cristianos, Magma Art and Congress Centre e Parco acquatico di Siam. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Playa de Troya e Playa Torviscas.

Il vecchio porto di pescatori è punteggiato da barche, pescherecci e traghetti diretti o provenienti da La Gomera: vale davvero la pena dedicarvi una giornata! Il porto è delimitato da entrambi i lati da due grandi spiagge sabbiose. Sebbene Los Cristianos sia popolarmente una località di villeggiatura per famiglie in cerca di sole e divertimento, permangono tuttora delle tracce della vecchia cittadina, anche se più o meno nascoste tra i numerosi hotel, pub, club, negozi e ristoranti locali. Numerose sono le attrazioni nei dintorni di Playa de las Américas.

L'aspetto positivo è rappresentato da appartamenti funzionali, belli e puliti. Mancano comunque cosmetici e prodotti per il bagno. La colazione è abbastanza abbondante ma monotona e esclusivamente inglese e tedesca. L'aspetto negativo è rappresentato dalla distanza dal mare...una camminata in discesa di circa 20 minuti (da fare poi in salita).

on first inspection hotel seemed to be good value for money..but.. on closer inspection the kitchen was so dirty on workrops that we had to purchase cleanser before we could use it . our appartment was very dark.plus tv had to be purchased by the day..safe rental was expensive compared to where we stayed on our second week. beds were v.hard and uncomfortable..child […] waterproof matteress covers did not help/ we only had one lunch at the hotel and we had to send it back..would not recommed food. staff/cleaners! were most polite.pool area needs attention..many cracked and broken tilles Continua a leggere
"cockroach and mites i kitchen cabinets"
We had to disinfect ourselfs and for the purpose we did recieved some anti-insect repellent in reception and had to disinfect and clean all kitchen cabinets with self-bought Mr. Prober and Ajax. The two single beds were hard and roll mattress was plastic and carried out as pee sheets. Very uncomfortable. In replace of our ants eaten and broken food, […] we fortunately got one free buffet dinner in the restaurant. Beside these little "surprises" we have been pleased with the location and with the staff. Sorry, but we would not recommend the hotel to friends and family. If you decide to visit stay at the hotel, we can recommend you to eat at The Angus Steak House, ca. 200 meters east of Hotel - good food - fantastic sirilion steak med, French fries, potato, vegetables, for only 5.95 Euro. Apartment was adequate.Directions were terrible took us over an hour to fund as some letters were missing from the sign.Free parking ,views not terrific!

"Quality hotel"
Staff were helpful, hotel was clean, there is 2 lifts to get up stairs, pool area was ideal, rooms were cleaned 5 days a week. Hotel was a 5mins from the bus ,15 mins to the beach, 10mins to town-centre. Shows for kids in the evening were interesting with eagles, parrots, owls, snakes and pot belly pigs. Nice area and near from the beach. Very nice room with a lot of space. A shame the bed wasnt a couple one and two single next to eachother. The rest was really nice!

"Shocked at the value I got for the dollar"
Let me preface my comments by saying that I just needed a room for one night and including breakfast the next morning I paid a ridiculously low cost for this room (they won't publish if I give exact amount but it was half what I paid for any other room in the Canaries over a two week period). What I got for my cost was unbelievable. The room had a separate […] bedroom, the bathroom was a separate room off the hallway and then there was a separate living/Dining/Kitchen. Kitchen had a refrigerator, stove and was stocked with some required cooking items. Then to top it off there was a huge balcony with table and chairs on it. I was on 2nd floor which is above the units that open right to the pool so the balcony/patio was larger as it sat atop the lower unit. Patio was at least 12 feet by 12 feet or larger. The hotel had plenty of parking and was pretty easy to find. There was a large shopping center less than 100 yds away with a super market and several restaurants and bars and there were other tiny centers all around the hotel with markets, bars and restaurants. It was a little ways from the downtown beaches and night life but I ended up walking down that night to the main night club and restaurant areas along the beach and it wasn't all that difficult of a walk. If I was staying there for a week I am sure I would only ever walk down into town I wouldn't have bothered to drive. It was close enough. "Our stay in the Aguamar apartments"
The apartment was standard. It was very clean and well equipped. You could also request an iron or hairdryer. On the day we checked in I thought that the apartment was spotless but the floors were not swept well after this. The pool area was nice, thoiugh strangely the sunbeds were chained up until 10am so at this time there was a rush to get a sunbed […] and claim your space! I thought this was hilarious though my sun loving friend was not too pleased!! You could rent a parasol and a cushion for your sunbed. Breakfast was only ok. I was expecting more fruit and the bread was always hard, so not very tempting. The hot food consisted of sausages, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans and chips. I don't think I would advise anyone to prepay for breakfast. The Aguamar apartments are about a ten minute walk from the main town centre but it was a nice walk. On the day of check out, though you need to check out at twelve, there is a dressing room near the pool area where you can shower so that was fantastic and the hotel will provide towels on request. Finally the resort itself is very pretty but quiet so if looking for a lively night scene, Los Christianos is not for you. Continua a leggere

Vi fikk desverre et rom som lå i skyggen. Vi fikk ikke sol inn på verandaen heller og rommet var svært kaldt.

Hotellet er et dejligt hotel med hyggeligt pool område. God udsigt til bjergene fra vores værelse - (lidt koldt uden solen.) Vil gerne besøge det igen. søde personaler. Lidt støj ud til gaden om natten, det generede ikke os voldsomt, men der blev talt om det. Tak fra 406.

Hotellet är trevligt och ligger inte så långt från stranden.Problemen är det fantastiska oljud som tre mindre krogar tvärs över gatan frambringar fram till klockan 24 varje natt.Det är något som skall föreställa sång samt musik.En är nog en sportbar och det hörs när någon gör mål. Ett annat problem är tömningen av soptunnerna som sker vid tretiden på […] natten.Besvikelsen var stor när vi fick se poolen.Den är inte alls stor som på bilderna utan väldigt liten.En ren förfalskning på bilden.Annars var det bra Continua a leggere

Rent och välordnat hotell-både rummen och Poolen.. Bilden på Poolen på websidor etc ljuger. Poolen är mindre än på bilden. Störande pub alldeles nära, väldigt högt ljud fram till kl 24. Bra gångavstånd till Playa Las Vistas. Standardkanalerna på TV av dålig kvalitet. Var beredd på solstolsrace varje morgon. desværre var hotellets solvarmere angiveligt i udu hvilket betød at poolen ikke var opvarmet alle dage. fotos af hotellet (poolområdet) er noget forskønnende! et godt hotel med børn da der var mange børnefamilie og generel "forståelse" for børneleg/støj

"God service og hyggeligt hotel"
Vi boede på hotellet i dec 11. Hotellet ligger tæt på stranden og lå generelt i går afstand til de fleste ting. (supermarket, børne tivoli restauranter mm) Vi har selvfølgelig ikke været der i højsæsonen og derfor var der heller ikke overfyldt ved poolen eller meget larm fra vejen. Hotellet byder på god service og god rengøring på værelserne. Dog manglede […] vi en saftyboks på værelserne. Morgenmaden på hotellet var ikke specielt godt, men på værelserne er der køkken så ,man selv kan lave mad. alt ialt et godt hotel til en fornuftig pris. Continua a leggere
"Dejligt hotel"
Men der mangler sol ! Hotellet er formet som et U der har åbningen mod vest, hotellet skygger for morgen & middagssol og om aftenen var solen gået ned, så meget begrænset med sol ved pool og lejligheder. Udsigt er der heller ikke.

Det börjar märkas att hotellet blir äldre. Mkt trevlig och bra personal, bra städning. Lugnt läge. Lite obekväma sängar, men de spanska hotellen verkar inte ha bäddmadrass, vilket skull vara ett lyft.

Hotellet har en fin plassering med 10 min gantid til strand promenaden. Hatellet har ikke aircondition eller vifte i taket, noe som burde vært innstallert. Grei betjening og fin service.

"OK ophold"
ok hotel som er i middelklassen. Fremstår lidt slidt på det familieværelse vi havde. God rengøring og morgenmad. Vi havde ikke andre måltider inkluderet, så ved ikke hvordan middag eller aftensmad er. Venlig personale. Et minus er at hotellet vender skidt for solen, så vi fik ingen sol på terassen. Super god service og meget pænt og rent. Alle ansatte var meget service-minded. Fin morgenmadsbuffet. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse, og vi havde følelsen af, at vi havde fået meget for pengene.

He pasado una noche en el hotel Aguamar y me ha bastado para comprobar la buena calidad de sus habitaciones y atención de primera clase por todo su personal.
Le personnel de l'hôtel est très accueillant et agréable, le ménage est fait consciencieusement. Les appartements sont suffisamment équipés, disposent tous de balcons donnant sur la piscine, ce qui est très agréable. L'hôtel est assez proche de la plage, on trouve aussi un supermarché au bout de la rue, à 5 minutes à pied (très pratique) et un très […] bon restaurant (Rubina) juste derrière. En arrivant, nous avons été un peu déçus de la taille de la piscine et de la terrasse qui l'entoure. Il faut se lever "tôt" pour espérer avoir une chaise longue ! Les lits étaient jumeaux, donc pas le top pour un couple. De plus, au bout d'une semaine, nous avons eu une invasion de minuscules insectes dans plusieurs pièces de l'appartement. Roligt og godt hotel med venlig og seriøs betjening. Solid og rigtig god morgenbuffet. Jeg kan varmt anbefale hotellet.

Vi likte hotellet godt. Basengområdet var fint, men en del mindre en det ser ut på bildene. Basenget var heller ikke oppvarmet og var ganske kaldt. Rommene likte vi veldig godt med seperat soverom og greit kjøkken. Terassen var stor og fin. Lite kjøpesenter ved hotellet med stofr matbutikk. Lite stykke å gå til stranden, men dette er en fin aveksling […] fra å ligge pal i solen:) Fantastisk bra plass med gode restauranter og fantastisk strandpomenade. Anbefales på det sterkeste. "Aguamar velholdt hotel"
Hotellet er velholdt og ligger forholdvis roligt i Los Cristianos. Der er enkelte barer på den anden side af gaden hvor der kan være lidt støj. Der er ca. ½ km til stranden og færgehavnen. Der var ingen hårtørrer på værelset, men den kunne lånes i receptionen. Restauranten på hotellet så lidt kedelig ud, men vi prøvede den ikke. "Aguamar i januar"
Hadde en trivelig uke på Aguamar. God rengjøring. Alt i alt et bra hotell, vi hadde ingen måltider i restauranten, men det var mulighet for full pensjon. Det eneste som skuffet oss litt var at bassenget skulle være oppvarmet, men temperaturen var neppe mer enn 20 grader. Vi gikk heller til sjøen og badet, det var varmere.

"Precis som väntat"
Vi bodde här för sex år sen och nu bokade vi detta hotell pga bra pris + att vi visste vad som väntade oss. Märks att hotellet åldrats på sex år, men ändå fräscht. Frukosten ok , som svensk vill man ha youghurt , kaffe, smörgås med pålägg och det fanns det.
