"Good location but dirty and uncomfortable."
Good thing about this hotel is the location and the view, if you book the ocean view room. The check in went very smoothly and quick. Anything else was not as we expected from Sheraton . And really we are not picky people ;) Overall was clean, but carpet in our room was full of big dark stains. The mattress was old, very used and collapsed to the center. […] It was very, very uncomfortable to sleep on it. But the worst was the condition of the swimming pool. The water was murky and dirty and full of hair floats. "Great Trip at a Great Price"
We were at Myrtle Beach for a dance competition held at Myrtle Beach High School. Our reservation at Sheraton was perfect for this event and the price I got on Hotels.com was excellent. The customer service was excellent and room was very clean. I have medical problems and the pillowtop mattresses there provide a much better rest than the ones at a […] typical hotel. We could see the ocean but this trip was not a typical "beach" trip as we didnt have plans to go on the beach. If so, u would probably have to drive and park. "Just One Problem..."
We booked a 2 double bed room thru Hotels.com to accommodate 1 adult & 3 children. When we arrived, the hotel placed us in a king room. After some discussion, the front desk folks gave us a roll-away at no charge to use for the night. And since we were staying an extra night, we were moved to another room (with an ocean view) the next day. Lesson learned […] - room booked thru Hotels.com site does not guarantee that room. I've stayed here a few times before and have always been satisfied. They do charge $8.00 for self-park and $12.00 for valet parking per day, but that is a City mandated thing I was told, since they own the property where the parking deck is located. The only thing that I would recommend is the parking deck elevators were very filthy and should be cleaned […] daily. The interior of the hotel, including elevators were very clean. The location is excellent and even though it is a block off the beach, you still have an ocean view from one side of the hotel. Broadway at the beach is just a 1/2 mile from there with many good restaurants surrounding it...pretty much anywhere in Myrtle Beach is a restaurant. Beds are extremely comfortable. "A little better than most"
I rely heavily on feedback from other travelers when booking a hotel so thought I'd return the favor. This hotel was nice in general. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom/room. This hotel was in a good location if you can walk a mile either way to restaurant/bars. We had a car and parking was very easy so location was not a huge deal. Safe neighborhood. […] There were minor issues such as a slow draining sink and a door that would not shut without slamming force. Prior to our stay, I read a few reviews about the rooms being warmer than comfortable to us warm blooded travelers. This is true. It seemed that the air conditioner was on some power save mode during the night, then would be cooler again in the morning. The staff was extremely friendly which made up for the smaller concerns. Overall, it was very nice. The parking garage key did not work and was very frustrating. The gym was clean but the view could be improved - working out staring at the smokey window was very boring. The hotel was located walking distance from the beach and close to everything, but quiet at night. We did not hear any outside noises despite of the bike […] weekend in town. Overall we give it an ok. Dirty plates lined the hallway, pay for parking in the parking deck is absurd and the walk from detached deck to hotel is less than pleasant. View was not impressive. Probably wouldn't stay there again for a date night...Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

The staff were very helpful and went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. "Nice place to stay"
Had a great time at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Facilities were top notch. Close enough to the beach (walking distance) without being caught up in the frenzy. Very nice hotel. Convenient location to beach and surrounding attractions (Ocean Blvd. and Broadway at the Sea). You can walk to the beach and Ocean Blvd. Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, however, lacked firmness. It did contour to your body, however, with a sinking feeling.
