"nasty hotel"
Found cheetos on the floor...we did not have cheetos in our room!! No sheets for fold out couch- only one extra pillow...reserved room for 4 people..staff acted like we bothered them when asked for the supplies we needed that should of been in room in the first place!

"Nice weekend getaway"
Nice place for the price. The oceanfront veiw is amazing!! Room was nice although a little outdated. Only bad thing is doesn't have private balconies. Overall a nice short weekend getaway.

The room was not very clean! The sofa was so dirty we didnt even sit on it! The bed had a cheap matt that was hard as a rock didnt sleep well at all! I would never ever go back to this hotel! Its not a deal if u cant enjoy it!

The staff were very courteous up arriving and the entire stay. Room was neat and clean.

The hotel offers rooms with a spectacular ocean view. It was also exceptionally clean with an indoor and outdoor pool. Shopping is within a 5-15 minute drive. The front desk doesn't seem to keep forks, etc. Also, king size rooms doesn't offer the option for a kitchen, but you get a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Our stay was amazing!
"Not Bad at All"
My husband and I chose The Reef Resort as our weekend getaway spot and we were very pleased. The room was nice and clean, bed was big and felt great, and the view of the ocean was wonderful. We were able to watch our favorite HBO shows as well. No complaints at all. The bar/restaurant called Makos was a great experience and the staff was great. Of course […] our stay was during the off season so that could make a difference, but as far as other reviews stating it was "outdated" and needed "improvements and repairs" I say to each his own. "Reef resort is cheap but not that clean"
We had a nice stay overall but there was cockroaches in the room walking around at night. The door handle came off while trying to enter our balcony, it just seems like an older hotel. They could use little bit of remodeling and more cleaning. But on the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the staff very friendly and accommodating to our requests. This a fairly decent hotel for the price. Its in a great location & offers an excellent view of the ocean. The pools are fairly simple & clean. This hotel does not have the themed pools or major amenities, but what they do offer is a room in a nice location with a great view & a great price. "Could have been better"
The a/c didnt work properly even after having maint to the room 3 times,the room was 78-80 degrees the whole time.We didnt have enough linen and when housekeeping would service the room they never had linen to put back into the room so we would have to wait till later in the day and get it from front desk.The best part was ocean front room and easy […] access to the beach and pool.This was a last minute trip with my kids before school started back and we could have been more comfortable and will look somewhere else on the next trip.The front desk staff could use some lessons in being friendly Continua a leggere

"Very enjoyable"
My stay at the Reef Resort was very enjoyable. Loved the bar. Live entertainment poolside everyday. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Plan to stay there again next visit.

When we arrived they had us in a non smoking room, ask about this it was a mistake and we were moved immediately....then our air was not cooling, we called down stairs and they had a new one installed.

The Reef Resort was a very pleasant surprise. For the price i paid i was expecting a lackluster hotel but it was very enjoyable. Plenty of room in the pools and hot tubs. Also the onsite restuarant/bar was great.

Awesome place. The location was perfect. No too close to the busy traffic areas known on the strip but close enough to enjoy everthing else. Staff was extremly polite. Areas in the hotel was always clean. Room was clean daily with fresh towels always. NO BED BUGS FOUND. Every room has an ocean view. That was the best part of it all. No extra cost. "WILL NEVER GO BACK"
The largest room they had was very narrow and cramped, only big enough for the double bed. Found someone elses deodorant bottle in the room so I am assuming they didn't thoughly clean the room before leasing it to someone else. The beds and pillows were hard, the furniture was torn, the balcony door handle was broke, the outside door lock was broke […] and EVERYTHING was outdated. Very old and nasty looking! THE FRONT DESK SERVICE WAS VERY NICE. BUT THE HOTEL/RESORT ROOMS WERE BAD. COUCH WAS VERY DIRTY AND VERY HARD, CARPET WAS NOT CLEAN AND COMING UP AND THE SHEET HAD WRITING ON THEM AND VERY VERY THIN.

The Reef was a great hotel choice, friendly staff, and very helpful with local info. There was an issue with the elevators during part of our stay. We waited on 7th floor for almost 10 mins then decided to just walk it, not an easy task with small child, and lots of stuff. The overall stay was fantastic though, entertainment at the pool, and the grill/bar […] located on property was awesome. "Bargain!"
I got a great price, so I figured it would be loud and packed with spring breakers. Ended up being a very quiet week. Yes, the hotel needs some upgrading, but I was just there to shower and sleep. Bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. That's all that matters!

This hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are a great size and are very comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tubs are a great bonus! Make sure to visit Scooby's next door - they have a wide variety of food and drinks from breakfast to late night snacks.

The hotel was pretty much as expected. The employees were polite and the room was decent sized. TVs are older and the bed was a little too firm. Great stay for the price during the off season.

"Hotel needs work"
This hotel is old and in need of a lot of work. The room had a musty smell, the cable box didnt work, and there wasnt any hot water in the shower. This would normally be tolerated during the in season when the hotel has full vacancy but, we were there during off season. I would not recommend this hotel.

I stayed at The Reef for a 2-night trip. The two-bedroom suite was very tight. Everything about this "resort" is out of date and old. Desperate need of renovation. BUT it is clean, bug free, and was a pleasant stay. The mattresses were fairly new and the beds comfortable. Which is all we needed because it was just a place to sleep. The bedrooms were […] so small that you couldnt get out of bed unless the door was closed. The pool area was great. The bar/restaurant was good and convenient. Great menu at normal prices. "Reef Resort in MB"
Reef resort is cool and kitschy, with an 80's feel and art deco exterior. It was busy at the end of the summer, and family land for sure, but we still really enjoyed our stay. Old for sure, and bit worn, but friendly, cool, and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly.

I enjoyed the stay at the Reef resort very much. It was a good price at 30% off. One thing they need to work on is updating the hotel, its a little worn out. The elevator is slow and squeaky. The room had an awful fishy smell and we needed to keep both doors open to air out. "Not great but not horrible"
My car scrapped everytime I took it into the parking ramp. They need to take out the high point and make it more level. We had a palmento bug in our bathroom and we also had an issue with fireworks. I understand it's not the hotels fault and they can't control the beach, however the pool had ash and chunks of fireworks for the whole day. They lazy river […] was non-existing even though they show one on their website. Elevators needed to be fixed while we were there. Saw other reviews with same issue. Might be time for them to be replaced or updated. Room wise it was comfortable and big. Bathroom was a small but functional. Would go back depending on the price.
