Ottimo hotel,camere pulite e spaziose, proprio sul mare.Molto riservato e appartato. Proprio per questo ha un unico problema; lontano dal centro e da Oistins.Anzi non si trova proprio a Oistins come dice il sito e Hotels.com.Collegamenti bus buoni ma difficili a causa della somiglianza delle strade e delle fermate e dalla totale assenza di segnaletica. Idem se noleggiate un auto. Ci vuole un po per memorizzare la strada del ritorno.

L'hotel è proprio sul mare ...anche se devo dire che a Barbados ci sono talmente tante belle spiagge da visitare che diventa NON indispensabile la collocazione dellhotel.E' comunque buono per le volte che non si ha voglia di uscire. L'unica pecca (se proprio la vogliamo trovare) è la poca disponibilità al ceck out ritardato...era alle 12 e anche offrendoci di pagare una differenza non siamo riusciti a spostarlo di un ora.La posizione per la sera è leggermente (10 minuti a piedi) fuori mano se non si affitta un'auto o non si prende un mezzo di trasporto.Comunque noi l'avevamo, pertanto punteggio ottimale, camere molto ma molto spaziose (noi avevamo il monolocale), e personale disponibile.

Le camere dll'hotel sono sicuramente da ristrutturare, l'impianto di condizionamento vecchio e rumoroso, il bagno piccolo e sanitari vecchi ma tutto questo viene abbondantemente compensato da una spiaggia da sogno e da un bellissimo giardino.
Posizione
The Palms Resort si trova a Holetown (St. James), a breve distanza dalla spiaggia e dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Sandy Lane Beach, Holetown Monument e Lime Grove Shopping Centre. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Holetown Beach e Paynes Bay Beach.
Caratteristiche della struttura

"Palms Resort, Holetown, Barbados"
We stayed at the Travellers Palm. Studio was brightly furnished and very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff. 5 to10 mins walk from lovely beaches, supermarket, fuel and banks.Easy, cheap bus into Bridgetown, would advise you to use blue Government bus as opposed to yellow private ones who may take your money, then not go where […] they said they would! Only gripe with hotel is that we had no hot water for 4 days, but in that heat, a hot shower wasn't really necessary. The internet in reception (US$5 per half hour) kept crashing, so the receptionist just let us use hers (with no further charges). Lovely, quiet situation, but wouldn't recommend if you wanted busy nightlife. Continua a leggere

"you got what you paid for"
We stayed at the Palms for a week with two adults and two kids. The price is great for the location. But expect almost no services. We had to wait for 3 days to get our garbage out and towel changed. The front desk is friendly, but it is a low maintenance hotel. Keep in mind there is no bath tub! The internet service is not reliable at all. Overall, […] you got what you paid for! "Good Location (very quiet);not that clean, but Ok"
The good parts: nice location with quiet surroundings; walk distance to beach, bus station or shopping center. The kitchen has stove, oven, fridge, toaster, dishes and pans/pots - enough to do some light cooking or have breakfast. We enjoyed the balcony a lot; we had our meals there. The not so good: furnishing of the room not that good - quite old […] and painted. Bathroom has faucets and shower that are very old and dirty. During a week we had our room made once and the towels changed twice per our request; other rooms they do everyday; I'm nor sure how they decided to skip ours. We never used the pool or patio around the pool, but from the distance they did not look that clean, as the chairs along it turned grey from white. Continua a leggere
"Great value."
We only stayed for one night, but this was much better than expected. Large room/suite, nice kitchenette, very clean, and much cheaper than most other places in the area.
"It's inadequate"
I have stayed in many "basic" hotels. This is inadequate. The best part of the room is the kitchen -- probably because it's hardly used. For the bath, only few bar soups are provided (basic). The shower is embarrassingly weak and not clean (inadequate). For the room, the bedding did not seem fresh/clean either (inadequate). The TV has 3 watchable channels […] (basic). The Palms Resort was really my second choice so I eventually transferred to Divi Heritage where most of my party were located. With respect to transportation the Palms Resort was not so convenient, Divi Heritage was.

"The Palms Resort, Barbados"
This was a pleasant condominium style hotel. Several buildings surround a pool. The unit itself was nice, the only complaint being that you had to use the ceiling fan with its lights on, there was no way to use it without the lights. It was convenient to a large grocery store and a fairly short walk to a swimming/snorkeling beach. But they didn't supply […] a map to help find either, and they were both hard to find (hotels and restaurants lined the shore). Hotels.com told us checkout was 1 pm, but the hotel insisted it was 11 am which somewhat affected our plans. Both should give visitors the same information. I would stay here again. "The Palms - good for the price"
The location is great. Walking distance to the beach and Holetown where there are shops and lots of restaurants/bars. The biggest downside is that the room only has two twin beds. For a couple, that's tough. But I knew that when I reserved it. It was the least expensive hotel in the area and the area is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It seems like a nice place for a longer stay since it has a kitchen and living room We had to check out in the morning, but we wanted to explore the area a bit more before heading to Bridgetown for our cruise. The woman at the desk was nice enough to lock our bags up in a stoarage room. But she was gone when we came back and the man working had trouble finding a key. Other than that and the lack of toiletries (only one small bar of soap - no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc), it was nice. "Relación Calidad-Precio fabulosa"
La verdad me sorprendió lo bueno que estaba el hotel con el precio que tiene. Lo unico que tengo de malo para destacar, es que me hicieron la limpieza de la habitacion 3 dias de 7 que me hospedé. La atención del personal espectacular, sobre todo de Kristie que la verdad se portó de 10 con nosotros.

"The Palms Resort - tolle Anlage(n)"
Wir waren (leider) nur eine Nacht im Palms Resort, auf der Durchreise. Aber es hat uns super gefallen! Die Apartments sind sehr geräuming und vollständig ausgestattet (Küche, Wohnzimmer & TV, Schlafzimmer, Klimaanlage, begehbarer Kleiderschrank, Bad), alles war sehr sauber! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Pool war sauber und erfrischend. Eine […] Anlage die absolut zu empfehlen ist!
