"Great place for the price"
We stayed here because Sam Boyd stadium is about a 15 minute walk away. So when the crazies are pulling out of the parking lot, and waiting 45minutes, we were already back to the room. The room was clean, and the kitchenette helps save some money on food. The price was right, Cheaper then even super 8 and twice as clean and twice as big. Swimming pool […] was uncrowded and clean. Friendly cheerful staff, convenient to freeway. We always stay here when visiting Las Vegas so we can use the kitchen to eat when and what we want. I reported some graffiti and it was handled imediately. Extra pillows provided immediately upon request. "Very basic suite without any extras."
The hotel was a little upgrade from a Motel 6. My trip was in April and for some reason their was flying grasshoppers galore all around the hotel parking lots, the outside walls of the hotel, and near the pool. The room was neat with everything being were it was suppose to be, but the carpet was a disgusting dirty green and had obvious stains maybe […] from previous pets that stayed there. The keys didn't work when we got there but maintenace did come and reset the door after about 10 minutes. The location is about 15-20 minutes from the strip, but close to lots of fast food restuarants and gas stations. The staff was young and moderately friendly but did get anything I asked for without hesitation. Let me just start off with my husband and I are not picky bed people, however these beds were horrible! It was like sleeping on cardboard with a slab of cement under it with springs underneath. We hardly slept at all because of how uncomfortable they were. We got there at night and it seemed like it a really creepy area and parking is terrible. "Okay for our needs"
We were booked for a two bedroom suite with four queen beds. When we arrived, we were told that there was only a two bedroom suite with two king beds available. Because there were six of us, we told them this wouldn't work, so she gave us two two bedroom suites next door to each other with two king beds each. This was appreciated. The rooms smelled […] strongly of smoke and there were cigarette burns in the carpet. There was only shampoo/conditioner in one of the showers, and not enough for even two people. We were only there to sleep after a long flight before we headed home, so it fit our needs fine. If we would have been there to stay longer, I probably would have been more disappointed. We booked this because it offers two bedrooms which helps with privacy with while traveling with our family. We booked The two bedroom king/2 doubles room. There are two bathrooms, three TV's, and a kitchen (no plates, utensils, or pans). The space is wonderful, but housekeeping needs to step it up quite a bit. The couch looked like it came from goodwill. […] The sinks didn't drain, and the hair dryer didn't work. The beds were extremely hard. We were on the third floor and there isn't and elevator so we had to haul the our luggage up the stairs. The room doors are on the outside of the building which is less secure than being on an inside hallway. There were several homeless people wandering around the parking lot. We were only there for the night so we could catch a flight in the morning. It was a perfect place for our family, as it had all the conveniences we needed.
