Confortable room, Wal-mart and gas station just 500 meter walk away, but far from downtown, terrible wifi signal

Wasn't bad for what I needed and I liked the suite idea, but the living room furniture was badly outdated, and the kitchen was missing even basic utensils. Considering I stayed here for the kitchen, the fact that I had to purchase basic items like salt and other basic utensils was and is unfortunate.

Very convenient place. No wireless internet is a major drawback.

we discovered this hotel a few months ago! we stay whenever we can, rooms are clean, its so quiet you think you are the only ones there!!!

It's really a furnished apartment and some even have a washer and dryer unit. Unbeatable deal in this price range. Right next to Walmart makes grabbing anything any time of day quick and easy. Free wifi would make this place awesome!

We spent 4 nights at this "hotel" when we arrived the dishwasher still had dirty dishes in it. Carpet had stains on it. towels had a funny smell. we choose this place as we were travelling with young kids and thought it would be great to have a little room for them to move around. they dont have portacots. But the worst thing was you could hear the […] man walking around upstairs at all hours of the night, we thought great a lower floor we dont have to take all our stuff upstairs !! you could hear everything including the mans bed bouncing !!! Not fun !! the shower head is very low and had to bend right down to wash my hair. Kitchen is falling apart its that old when i did put the dishwasher on mouldy apple came up out of the sink !! 1) I travel a lot. This is the first hotel in 30 years where you could not watch TV in bed. 2) Dust coming out of the vents 3) Lighting was poor 4) Bathroom unbelievably small 5) Icing on the cake, they charged my credit card $25 for "incidentals" when they didn't have any incidentals. When I checked out, I asked for the credit of $25 and they said […] it takes 48-72 hours!! 6) Later found out that this Springhill Suites is NOT part of Marriott. It is listed as springhill suites which anyone who travels would assume is a Marriot property but it is actually springhill apartments that offers rooms in their vacant apartments.

I have stayed at nicer places but for the money I was very satisfied with my stay. These are actually little apartments that some people actually live in. The suite was roomy enough and very comfortable. I liked having a balcony off the bedroom so I could open the door for some fresh air in the morning. The full sized refrigerator and cable TV were […] nice as well. The pool was larger than I expected and in good condition. The exercise room looked updated and large, but I didn't get a chance to use it. My only complaint is that I found one tini roach in the shower and one in the kitchen sink (dying). Although in a place that accomidates long term residents I'd almost expect this and was happy I didn't see them scurrying around the room. I mentioned it to the receptionist when I checked out. We stayed for a week at Springhill Suites. We came in for a wedding and felt like we were going back home afte the daily events. Thanks so much for the friendly and helpful staff that took care of us.

The price is great, but this is not a typical suite hotel. This is primarily an apartment complex with two of the buildings used as a suite hotel. There are no hotel services. The signage out front is terrible. I had to call to find the "hotel" even though it's right on the street and I drove past it twice. There is no Wi-Fi in the apartment. There […] is Wi-Fi in the "clubhouse" where one checks in or out, but the clubhouse is only open between 7:00 am & 11:00 pm. The exercise room (very complete) is also in the clubhouse. If you want to stay up late and work on the internet, you have to sit on a bench outside the clubhouse. If you want to exercise really early, forget it. The swimming pool and large hot tub are nice. There's also a tennis court. The key problem I had was with the apartment suite. The positives. It's big. It was clean. It's a true apartment suite -- two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, dining alcove. But ... it was very noisy. The bedroom in the apartment I had was literally on the street -- 20 feet from a four lane city arterial. The windows are single pane. There are no sound curtains. Noise all night. I had to go sleep in the living room on the floor. (My son was using the rollaway sofa in the living room.) A different apartment in the complex wouldn't have been so bad. But ... the poor construction standards mean you also hear the people in the apartment above you walking around. Pick a second story apartment off the street.. Also, there was way too much light coming in through the bedroom window. There was a bright streetlight right outside. The shutters did a terrible job blocking the light. In the living room, it wasn’t too bad. So great price given this is an apartment, not a room. Worth it if you get a second floor apartment off the street. An apartment on the street? Forget about it. This place is an apartment complex that they also rent out as hotel suites. The two bedroom suite was perfect for our traveling family of 6. Loved that it had a full kitchen. Since we started our trip from Salt Lake City, it was great having Wal-Mart right across the street to pick up our provisions (water, snacks, ice chest, etc) for our road trip! […] The location was convenient to everything (shopping, restaurants)! This hotel was great for a week long stay. Full fridge, stove, oven, dishes, etc. Great location near the highway and everything else you would need. Friendly staff that helped a ton on lost packages. Daniel

We had a two bedroom suite that was comfortable. The pool and facilities were great. The rooms need a bit of updating. Overall, our stay was good and the area was convenient to restaurants and shopping. It was only 2 miles from our son and family so we would definitely stay again.

We were in town for only 1 week. The furnishings were tasteful but overall dusty, Including mini blinds, TV console and lamp shades.Bathroom floors were not sweeped but were damped mopped with too much water so use could see water marks all over the floors. Vacumning was done inside of rooms but not around the edging were there was buildup of lint. […] There was a load of dishes in the dishwasher that was overloaded and were not clean when we checked in. This is an apartment complex that rents furnished apartments by the night. Arrived after hours and no front desk - office closed. Took 45 minutes to find a number to call and then had to wait another 20 minutes for the night manager to show up. Night manager was rude and incensitive. Realy good for long stays- if you are picky like me and look for super cleanliness and a more modern atmosphere, this isn't for you.

I called this hotel (if you could call it that) directly in advance to make sure their rooms were non smoking. I was assured that they were. Our room, however, smelled like it had been smoked in for years! The carpet was disgusting and needed to be replaced. We had ants in our kitchen. I would not stay here again even if it were free!

The 2 bedroom condo was comfortable and clean. It was nice to have the use of a computer and internet at the main office. The gym was also very nice with newer type machines. The staff were polite and helpful;both office and maintainance. My suggestions for the condos itself are: the kitchen could be stocked a little better for long stays. Glassware […] was sparce and little things like mixing bowls were missing. could have used a few large size coffee mugs and drinking glasses. A good frying pan would be helpful also. Was not sure what to expect from Website photos but this Hotel Stay was one of the best. Springhill had everything we needed for our 4 days and we were very pleased with everything. The price was perfect and I would have paid more.

Our four day stay at the hotel was definitely a very pleasant surprise. The location was great for us and the suite and bed was very comfortable. The convenience of a full kitchen was a big plus too. We will stay here every time we visit the area.

yes, this is a former apartment complex but it was very nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. I loved that the tv had a built in dvd player so we could watch a movie. It's in a great location lots of places to eat close by, Walmart, a gas station right across the street. It was so nice! It was very clean, even at night when it was freexing you were warm in the hot tub. Great customer service, who was very helpful and gave step by step directions to anywhere we wanted to go! You can rent movies for a dollar and many other things, It is great for families! This is not a hotel. There is no maid service, you need to take your towels to the office and have them exchanged for new ones. No one cleans your room. The office is open from 7am - 11pm if you have any problems other then those hours you are on your own.

Very good stay, love the room and the service

Thia was more than I imagined. I liked the idea of an apt rather than a hotel room. The kitchen had basic pots/pans, plates and silverware so easy to stay in and eat. Bed was quite comfortable. Shower head a little too low for our tall family but was manageable.

this is not a Marriott run Springhill Suites and it is NOT an acceptable place to stay. hotels.com should take this location out of their inventory because the name is so misleading

Not a bad place to stay although it is definitely apartment living. toilet arm broke our first night there but it was fixed the next day. bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. convenient location close to freeway and across the street from gas station and wal mart. The walls are very thin and you can hear the creeking of the floors all night. The location was great and close to everything you could want. The staff was very nice and accomodating. I guess for the price it was a plesent stay.

The room was a one bedroom apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay. Office personall was very nice and available till 11pm on weekdays. Complex very clean, and lots of shopping and dinning just a few feet away. There was no need for driving for many stores were located all around. Would stay here next time I go.

Acceptable accomodations. Says queen bed but doesn't feel like one, it feels smaller. Took my credit card and put a hold on it but failed to disclose this to me, all they said was that it was for incidentals. Stay was acceptable. I stay here every few months when I am in town. It is a fully furnished apartment with all of the amenities that I need. Much easier and less expensive than staying in a hotel suite! The perfect location for me because it is right down the street from I-215. I highly recommend!

The main reason that I chose this hotel was that it was a Springhill Suites. I've stayed in many Springhill Suites by Marriott and had wonderful experiences. After checking in and seeing the terrible conditions of this room, I logged on to Marriott's site to lodge a complaint. To my surprise, Marriott does not have anything to do with this hotel. The […] conditions were terrible. The room felt dirty to the point that I would not walk barefoot on the carpet. There was a dead bug on the ceiling. There were rust stains all around the bathtub. You could not take a shower without putting your bath mat in the tub because it was so slick. The heater which was mere feet away from the bed was extremely loud. The "hotel" (it's apartments too, and horrible ones at that) didn't even have capability for internet connections. It was run-down and we got a phone call from a credit card collector—annoying because it wasn't for us! We chose it because it was close (even though it was more expensive than ones farther away), but we definitely would have driven to […] stay in a nicer place. It was WAY overpriced for the quality!! We ended up packing our things and leaving at 1:30 in the morning, because the people above us were really loud and stomping back and forth and we couldn't sleep. Definitely disappointed. I would not reccomend this place. We arrived late, as many travelers do, and had to wait about 20 minutes just for someone to show up at the office. Then it was about another hour before we were checked in. They are very disorganized and cater much more to the people living in their apartments than hotel guests staying one night. When we got to the […] room, there was old stale urine in the toilet which had created quite the odor in the bathroom. This type of stuff makes us want to stick to the chain hotels. Upon Arrival entered the room and found a Damp Musty smell. opened all windows to air out. Toilet had a layer or slimey film across top of water as if had not been cleaned in months and mold growing on side of bowl. Refridgerator was extremely noisy and obviously had a faulty part ( i repair applainces for living) I finally turned off fridge. The dvd […] would not display on the screen and found that video cord was missing. Asked office about it and Quote " If i can find a cord i Might bring it over." Office staff was of no help. I walked to nearby walmart and bought one for $8. Assistant Manager offered to keep part but no guarantee that Manager would reimburse. Too noisy at night to sleep because of people above us ran around the room all night. We did not sleep until 3:00 am.

Rooms were clean, carpet was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The price was great and it is very conveniently located. I would highly recommend this hotel.
