Hotel is very clean, everything updated and new. No elevator, but they will carry your bags upstars; Beds were HARD, pillows and blankets small; shuttle available, but not great. This hotel is about a 20 min walk from the city center, but it is worth the walk in order to see surrounding neighborhoods that you would not normally pay attention to. While the surrounding area was off the beaten path, we were never worried, nor never felt unsafe (2 young women by themselves). Actually hotel looks quite good and the personnel was very friendly, but the main problem was that hotel was far from center and every time we had to take a bus or a car to go somewhere. The room was clean but it was a bad smell going from pipes in a bathroom. Bedsheets were chaged only once in a 5 days, that wasn't good also. There were no English […] channels on tv. The food on breakfasts was ok. In generall the hotel wasn't so bad for that price, but next time I will choose a hotel that is closer to center of the city or that is located in a walking distance to a metro station. The location was a lot further than I thought! There was a discrepancy of the hotel address on TripAdvisor and Google Maps, it's approx a one hour walk to Nevsky Prospekt! The area around the hotel is a bit grotty, I wouldn't feel safe there on my own. There are better hotel options in SPB for sure.

Cheapest hotel I have ever stayed at in St. P. I was expecting something a bit more shabby or run down, but the hotel was clean and my room was bright and cheerful. The front dest personnel tried to be very helpful, although their success in this varied a bit depending on their English ability. My one real complain is that the toiletries are pretty […] cheap. I don't mind a single-use plastic packet for shampoo, but the plastic soap packet was pretty cheap and there was barely enough to use in the shower. The room was fine--clean and quiet. There was free wireless internet, altough the connection speed was fairly slow. The location is lousy--on a drab, dead-endn street with nothing within walking distance--but I was there on business so it was irrelvant for me. The only problem I had was on the morning I left when my wake-up call came 20 minutes late. I was very impressed when I left however, because I was leaving before breakfast was served (begins only at 8:00), so the front desk made me coffee and gave me breakfast to go in a doggy bag--at no charge. For the price, the Admiralteyskaya hotel can't be beat. For budget travelers it's fantastic and a great bargain. I just spent 7 nights here. The rooms are quite small but nice as are the bathrooms. The hotel restaurant is cozy, serves great food also at a good price. There is a free shuttle from the hotel that takes you to the closest downtown metro […] station. It runs every half hour in the morning and shuts down around noon and then starts up again in the afternoon running every half an hour. There is nothing to see in the neighborhood and the hotel is a bit out of the way but if you want to save A LOT of money to spend on other things then this hotel should be your top choice in St. Petersburg. Be prepared to pay about 120 roubles for your VISA to be registered if you are a foreign visitor. I would stay here again. Continua a leggere

Why pay more for those luxurious marble, granite and lobby? This hotel has all you need. Clean room and good breakfast. The hotel staff are all very helpful. Even with limitted English skill, I could see that they always tried their best to help me. Location is not the best but it was good enough for me. Tour operators usually provide free pick-up and […] drop-off from this hotel. If you take taxi from city center, it would cost you around 200 roubles ($7). However, please beware of taxi scam. I took a taxi from Hermitage museum back to the hotel once and it cost me 1400 roubles ($45). The ride was less than 10 minutes. The car was an old white mercedes and the driver was an older man. He insisted on using meter and I was not suspicious at all, but the meter was running so fast. Unfortunately, I was in hurry to go to airport so I did not argue much with him. My advise is that if you take taxi, please ask the estimate cost beforehand if the driver wanted to use meter. If the driver did not want to answer, simply take another taxi. Continua a leggere

Convenient shuttle from the hotel to the nearest subway station.

the hotel is clean, the staff is courteous and the price is right but: The first two floors are used as dormitories for young woman, they don't interact with the hotel guests. I could only guess what they do for a living

I really enjoyed my stay here and it is one of the best "boutique" hotels I have stayed in Europe and I have stayed at many, many of them. It was especially clean. The location is a little out of the way, but they do have a shuttle bus to the Metro and also a city bus a block from the hotel that will take you right to the historic area and a block […] from the Hermitage for 18 Rubles or about 50 cents. Also, please keep in mind that in Russia these days, even in the most touristy areas and attactions, no English is spoken, even though these days, English is the international language of business and tourism among other industries. However, the hotel almost always had someone who spoke English on staff, who not only helped you but in a 5 day stay there were 3 different all giving superior service. They really took care of us and helped us with the language barrier and the women acted kind of like "mother hens" and looked out not only for their guests, but you like you were "family" since not only is there a huge language barrier with the most signs in the cyrrllic alphabet, it is twice as hard to decipher and an attempt to communicate if you do not speak Russian. The breakfast buffet was a amazing and like I said the hotel is a little out of the way, I live in NYC and used to walking long distances and/or public transportation everywhere, however, once you are in the center, St. Petersburg is a very pedestrian friendly city, and the historic area is complete walkable, so once you were out for the day, you pretty much had no reason to return for the evening anyway. For about $5 a person, they will pack you a picnic launch of 2 sandwiches, fruits, yogurt and a dessert and few other things. It is pretty filling since their breakfast buffet of meets, cereals, fruits, etc(This was NOT a continental breakfast by any meens It was a real bargain and came in handy since the hermitage does not allow "re-entry" so you either need to bring a lunch or pay astronimcally high museum Continua a leggere

Das Team war sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Zimmer und Bett waren groß und gut. Das Essen im schönen kleinen Restaurant taugt leider nichts. Die Gegend ist abgelegen und leer aber ruhig.

Останавливались в отеле в начале апреля 2011года. Без проблем забронировал номер через интернет. Отель порадовал чистотой, очень вежливым персоналом. После завтрака в отеле - о еде вспоминал только к вечеру. Очень прилично готовили. Но что нас больше всего устроило, так это замечательно организованное трансферное сообщение с центром города. Мы с супругой приезжали на пару дней в Питер из Москвы, и остановились в этом отеле по двум соображениям: близость к квартире моего брата, в которой он живет, и цена размещения в отеле. На ресепшн нас встретила милая девушка, дала ключ и пароль от Wifi, (жаль, что один пароль только для одного устройства, но это ерунда, справились, и не спрашивали, […] возможно нам дали бы и второй пароль). Номер чистый, аккуратный. Еда на завтрак вполне, были и блинчики и оливье, голодными не оставались. Имея опыт путешествия по Европе на машине, когда останавливаешься там, где просто понравилось и когда нужно, отель свои три звезды полностью оправдывает! Esta bien pero no tiene aire acondicionado, asi que si vas en verano y te gusta el calor para dormir estaria bien. Si es otra estacion del año es buena opcion, el desayuno esta bueno, la gente es amable y te ayudan con informacion general de la ciudad además el precio es muy ventajoso.

Ειναι η 2η φορα που διαμενω εκει και εμεινα απολυτα ικανοποιημενος χωρις να ξοδεψω τα 2πλασια ισως & τα 3πλασια για διαμονη στο κεντρο της πολης .Πολυ cool & ιδιαιτερα ησυχη γειτονια γυρω απο το ξενοδοχειο με πολλα καναλια του ποταμου που δινουν μια ξεχωριστη αισθηση και σου ανεβαζουν περαιτερω την διαθεση! Προτιμηστε τα δωματια του 3ου η 4ου οροφου […] η αν δεν θελετε πολλα σκαλια ( δεν εχει ασανσερ) τα 3 δωματια του ισογειου..Το 101 του ισογειου οπου διεμενα εχει μινιμαλ Γιαπωνεζικη διακοσμηση & τεραστιο διπλο κρεβατι..Αφθονο ζεστο νερο στο μπανιο και καθημερινη αλλαγη πετσετων & καθαριοτητα του δωματιου .Ωραιος ο μπουφες του πρωινου με βολικο ωραριο (8πμ-11πμ) σε ομορφη μικρη αιθουσα, Στα δωματια υπαρχουν και σκουρες κουρτινες για λιγοτερο εως μηδαμινο φως μεσα. Δωρεαν wifi με καλο σημα μεσα στο δωματιο, ημουν συνεχεια online ! Καπνισμα μονο στο μικρο φουαγιε του 1ου οροφου.Για μετρητα υπαρχει ΑΤΜ στην υποδοχη αλλα προτιμηστε ανταλλαγη χρηματων στα exchange του κεντρου γιατι η προμηθεια ειναι πολυ μικροτερη απο αυτη του ΑΤΜ! Πολυ κοντα στο ξενοδοχειο υπαρχουν αρκετα mini market 24 ωρες ανοιχτα..Λιγο πιο κατω το ενα απο τα 2 irish bars της πολης για τους φιλους της μπυρας και σχεδον απεναντι το πανεμορφο εξωτερικα θεατρο Μαρινσκυ ! Απολαυστικη η βολτα -πεζοπορια απο το ξενοδοχειο εως την Nevski prospect ( η κεντρικη αρτηρια της πολης ) Τα περισσοτερα σχεδον αξοθεατα -μνημεια βρισκονται σε αυτην την διαδρομη , ομως υπαρχει και το mini bus του ξενοδοχειου ( ανα μιση ωρα ) που παει μεχρι το κεντρο .. Πολυ φιλικο το προσωπικο ( με λιγα Αγγλικα) οχι ιδιαιτερα διακριτικοι βεβαια αλλα ευγενικοι και καλουληδες ! Hotelli vastasi odotuksia ja hinta/laatu oli kohdallaan.Huone oli asiallinen.Sijainti tuntui vähän syrjäiseltä ja ympäristö oli vaatimaton,mutta todellisuudessa 15min.kävelymatkan päässä esim.Eremitaasiata.Aamiainen oli maittava ja riittävän monipuolinen.Plussana oli vielä sisäpihan turvallinen P-alue moottoripyörälle.

på tross av språk vanskeligheter så var det et helt okey hotell, god frokost, betjeningen kunne ha hvert litt mer i møtekommemde, men, det var så lite så. Det ligger litt utenfor storsentrum, tar ca en halvtime å gå inn til sentrum.. Restaurangen var helt ok, de var veldig flink på fisk, men kjøtt var de ikke så flink på. Helt greie priser.

The room is not big, but it's very clear and comfortable. I enjoy the breakfast at here. If you travel with family, this hotel should be your best choice.

Hotellet hadde en beliggenhet langt fra alt, uten tilgang til offentlig kommunikasjon. Ingen taxi-sjåfører kjente til hotellet og adressen. Beliggenheten var nærmest på en byggeplass i en bakgate bak en bensinstasjon. Masse bråk fra bakgårdene fra klokken 06.00 om morgenen. Fahrt Hotel-Stadt: 10 Minuten mit hoteleigenen Kleinbus gratis, jede halbe Stunde von 6:45-9:45 und 16:45-20:45, kann aber ab 3 Personen auch zu anderen Zeiten gratis bestellt werden. Jeg har før boet på hoteller i Rusland og som mange danske hoteller er indretningen ofte meget klinisk og uden atmosfære. Amaranta Admiralteyskaya er modsat. Det er et mindre og nyrenoveret hotel med en rustik indretning, som giver en hyggelig og afslappet atmosfære. Det ligger desuden i et stille kvarter på en blind vej, hvilket betyder at der ingen […] forstyrrende trafiklarm er. Det ligger cirka mellem centrum og Mariinsky opera og teater, men langt fra Metroen. Hotellet har dog en gratis shuttle som kører gæster til nærmeste metrostation eller Mariinsky, hvis man skal se en forestilling der. Ellers er der ikke langt at gå til centrum, hvis man har gode ben. Pesonalet taler engelsk og er venlige og effektive. Det er absolut et hotel jeg har lyst at vende tilbage til. Continua a leggere

Hotellet har bra beliggenhet, men det var ikke stort i området rundt. Hotellet har gratis buss til metro stasjonen og det er kjekt. Hotellet passer for den som reiser på budsjett og ikke ønsker å betale for mye for et hotell. Vi ble tatt godt i mot og frokosten var bra. Maten ellers holdt også god standard. Et dejligt og hyggeligt lille velbeliggende hotel. Lidt lille men hyggeligt og velholdt værelse med alt hvad der skulle være, og med en meget meget høj rengøringsstandard, på værelset og badeværelset. Beliggenhed i gåafstand til centrum og alle seværdigheder. Og som en ekstra behagelig overraskelse var der gratis transport til og fra nærmeste metrostation […] flere gange dagligt - fire ture formiddag og fire ture eftermiddag! Personalet i receptionen var utrolig venlige og hjælpsomme, og selv om der enkelte gange var lidt sprogproblemer blev disse altid løst til vores fulde tilfredshed ved fælles hjælp. Venligt hotel i russisk ånd. Kommunikation på engelsk er kun et telefonopkald herfra og de vil gøre alt selvom det nok mest er et turisthotel for russerne. Ligge lidt udenfor byen i et roligt kvarter, men gåafstand til vandet og med et par gode sko til centrum.
