A due passi da Bourbon street e dall' Armstrong park, è una specie di bed and breakfast. Molto carino, ha poche camere e una certa atmosfera romantica. Ci è piaciuto perchè dopo i bagordi notturni nel French Quarter in pochi minuti si può tornare in un oasi di silenzio. La camera era piccola e il letto molto comodo.

Great hotel with a very polite staff. Unusual for the French Quarter. Our room was clean, quiet and charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to the heart of French Quarter without being to close. The price was right.

We will not be returning to the Inn on St. Ann. The room was extremely noisy. It's like the people out in the hall are really in our room and the hall was the meeting place every morning. Housekeeping was hit and miss. One day no bath mat. The next day no wash cloths. Our last day they didn't even clean the room at all. They have no parking and recommended […] we park in a lot that is about six blocks away ($25/day). We found our own parking and negotiated a much better rate. Several rooms have no windows at all and my hubby has claustrophobia which meant he had panic attacks at times. They indicated that had no rooms with windows to which they could move us. There was no phone in the room which caused concerns to those who tried to contact me. The noise level was high so sleep was elusive. There was no clerk at the desk most of the time. I had to wait more than fifteen minutes to check out because there was no attendant around. The TV did not work appropriately. All in all, it was a bad experience.

I love it here Dwayne was so friendly great guy. Room was nicer than I thought it would be would definitely stay here again. Spacious bathroom a little small but not a problem. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The hotel is very clean and nicely located. We were staying for 4 nights and were assigned a windowless room. We had to ask repeatedly to change rooms, and spoke to about 4 different staff people before our room was changed. Staff went out of their way to ensure that my brief stay came off without a hitch. Got my room ready for me quickly despite the fact that I arrived we'll before check-in time. And when the taxi companies couldn't send a car for me for over an hour, the desk clerk drove me up the convention center herself! The hotel was great! Really friendly staff, incredibly clean room, fantastic location. Only drawback was no hotel or close-by parking -- closest was a paid lot 6 blocks away. My room didn't have a hair dryer, but I also didn't ask for one, so perhaps the front desk was holding onto them.

GREAT attentive and freindly staff worked hard to make our stay awesome. We stayed in the slave quarters off the rear courtyard. Some noise from the room/ suite above us, but overall very quiet away from the noise of the French Quarter, yet a blcok from Rampart and easy access to everything. I recommend the place highly and would def stay again!

The location is perfect...just close enough to Bourbon St and all the activity without being in the loud party area. We were in the bldg across the street from the main office, and our WiFi didn't work. Also, there were still some loud people nearby with thin walls on the first night. This hotel is in a great location only 3 blocks from Bourbon street near the middle of the Quarter. The rooms were small, but clean and updated. Great locations and reasonable price makes this a good choice. It is important to note that there is no onsite parking, but there are some garages and surface lots nearby.

My husband and I stayed in New Orleans over New Year's this year and enjoyed our stay at the Inn on St. Ann. If you're looking to walk around the French Quarter, the location is perfect... not too close to Bourbon Street, but very easy to walk to all corners of the quarter. The hotel was quaint and really beautiful. We did have some issues with hot […] water. I think that the hotel needs to consider a new water heater if they're going to have a full house. Very clean. Great staff. Felt safe. Bed was pretty comfortable. There were just very few amenities. The greatest thing about this inn is its location, 3 blocks from Bourbon, 6 from Jackson Square. My room was tiny--like sleeping and showering in a skinny hallway. I would stay at this place again, but only in one of the suites. No hair dryer, no coffee […] maker, no breakfast. I travelled alone to New Orleans, and staying at the Inn on St. Ann contributed to an enjoyable time for me in the French Quarters. It is close to so many sites. I found the room to be clean, quiet, and safe. The early morning coffee with rolls and fruits was a good and fast way to start the day. Dwight was a great help in my stay there. Thank you.

My room was very big for one person, clean and comfortable. It was a tad cold because the door was old an let some of the air in but other than that the room was in very good condition. Staff, as others point out, are rarely at the front desk but will come to your aid in a few minutes if you call the number at the door and are very friendly. This Hotel is two blocks away from Bourbon Street. So it's quiet enough to sleep but right there, where you want to be in New Orleans. It's a small Hotel but the staff was very knowledgeable, helpfull and friendly. I read feedback from other guests they said it bordered them that the frontdesk isn't occupied all night long but for me that wasn't a […] problem at all. With your key you can come and go how you want and if you really need something you can call them. (St Peter is the main Hotel with a 24h frontdesk and thats also only a few blocks away - in fact you almost walk by when you come from Bourbon Street.) The Hotel itself is very nice everythink looks newly renovated, is clean and just has a touch of luxury to it. I enjoyed staying in this hotel, I got there late at night and the guy in the front desk was very attentive and gave us excellent advice on where and what to do. My room 72 was spacious although I'm told there have some really small rooms. I walked most of the time between Louis Armstrong park and the pier.

Wonderful hotel. I was on first floor and it was a little noisey because of the age of the building not very insulated from sound. Walking distance to the Quarter and of course Bourbon St. Had issues with Wifi and couldn't sign on but other than that will stay again. We stayed here for a Halloween trip. This hotel is perfect! Two blocks from Bourbon St. but it's very quiet in the room! But, on Halloween at 2am we woke up to people smashing beer bottles and screaming in the streets right outside our window. Next time we are asking for a room in the courtyard! If you plan on staying in the French Quarter your whole […] stay, don't bother bringing/renting a car. Armstrong park is so close you can see the entrance from the hotel. Jackson Square is a few blocks over (Go to Cafe du Monde for beignets and coffee! Yum! Cash only.). Everything is within walking distance and trying to find a place to park is a pain. If you do need to use a car, don't lose your parking ticket! You could be looking to pay $40-150 for a lost ticket vs $6-30. Make sure you bring cash as some places in general only take cash, but sadly, as with other places, there are pick-pockets esp in Jackson Square, so don't be flashy! If you do bring your car or if you rent one for a day, go out to Destrehan Plantation (it's one of the closer plantations (about 20 miles from NOLA)), $20/adult, oldest documented plantation, they filmed part of Interview with the Vampire there). St. Louis Cemetery #1 is a must see, lots of interesting history! (Most tours are cash. You can just walk in the cemetery and take a look around, but honestly I think it's worth the $20 tour just so you know what you're looking at.) The museums in Jackson Square are awesome and most are only $6/adult. Continua a leggere

We were here for 3 days after visiting Charleston, SC. It's in a very central location. We were in the very first room (#60) as you come in the door. Even with that location...it was certainly quiet. Only once were we disturbed by noises from outside. I wouldn't have liked trudging up and down the steps and was glad we were on the first level. We like to walk in the morning and found enough places for breakfast within walking distance that it was never a problem. We decided not to have a rental car since we had heard that parking could be a problem. We walked to all of our planned sites...and none was too far for doing just that. St. Ann intersects Bourbon at about the 800 block...all the "action" is further towards downtown so you can get all the action you want or desire....but, without the noise. Lovely quiet spot off of the main path of the French Quarter tourist stuff, but also close enough to get to it in minutes. The room was impeccably clean, with an updated bathroom and comfortable bed. Very nice little hotel on the edge of the French Quarter. The rooms are quite small, which is not unusual for staying in the Quarter. You'll probably have to climb a flight or two of stairs if you are not on the first floor (no elevator). Just remember, you are not staying at one of those huge convention hotels over on Canal (they are there if you want […] them). Also, the wifi is pretty undependable (worked about half the time). I had initially wanted to stay at the Inn on St Peter but since it was booked we stayed here. I LOVED it!! It was built in the 1800's and it was just too cool. The rooms are very small but they are cozy and clean and very comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming and very attentive. I would love to stay here again.

Southern comfort - you walk into the lobby and you see the winding staircase. Staff was there to greet you and help with bags, since there are no elevators. Room was clean and kept clean each day.
