Molto belle e particolari le camere d'arte. Suggestiva l'atmosfera e la posizione sul mare. Per i miei gusti troppi posacenere in giro. A cena non vengono portati i menù pertanto uno non sa quello che spende e poi una sera ci e' stata servita cena quando ancora eravamo seduti sui divanetti adducendo che fosse per comodita' nostra quando in realta' penso […] che fosse per comodità della cucina. It's sad to read negative comments about Atelier sul Mare, but I understand that some people don't have the sensitiveness for the art and don't understand the uniqueness of this hotel. This hotel gave me the possibility to met extraordinary people, artists with which speaking about art and culture, all day, in a surrealistic atmosphere. The rooms are […] beautiful, with all the comforts that a customer can ask. I stayed in the art room Lunaria, an incredible feeling, I felt myself in the center of a forest an slept on the moon. I am not joking, I have really lived in a magic place. I have a wonderful stay in this hotel an I'll make another reservation as soon as I can go in vacation again. I can understand people looking for A4 holiday beach hotels may get frustrated by this hotel, but if you complain about the décor, you have not being paying attention before you booked. So here is the check-list if this is for you: - Take Art hotel literally - this is an art exhibition. Art rooms are an artwork, and even the standard rooms look like […] the home of a rabid art collector who has to put everything on the walls. Check the pictures to make sure you will like it. - there are no TV or mini-bar - hotel has no restaurant (at least not at this time of the year) except serving breakfast. - the beach is a public beach (note that hotels.com) and is pebbles, not sand. If any of this is a deal breaker for you, I recommend looking for a hotel in nearby Cefalu instead. If on the other hand, you like me think it is great for once to have a hotel room that doesn't look like a hotel room, that no TV means you won't have to listen to your neighbours TV all night, that mini-bars are unnecessary when there is bars everywhere and that sand beaches are overrated - then you might have found the perfect hotel. If you like me are lucky enough to have a balcony with see view, you may never want to leave again. The beds are good, the is housekeeping immaculate, the bathrooms are well equipped, the WLAN works most of the time and the breakfast is excellent, if you have little patience with time in the morning. It is in a beautiful and quiet place with two excellent restaurants within two minutes walk. Nearby railway station has good connections locally and further off, cheap and reliable. Dette fine hotel, der er indrettet med hjertet, kan varmt anbefales. Særligt 'kunstværelserne' var en oplevelse for sig, og hvis man besøger hotellet, vil en booking af ét af (de lidt dyrere) værelser være dén prik over i'et, som er sjælden at finde. Værelserne er funktionelle, men med sin uortodokse møblering og udformning, bliver man udfordret i sin […] tænkning af hotelværelses indretning. Desuden skal det nævnes, at det er muligt at få en fremvisning af hotellet, så man har mulighed for at se alle de særprægede værelser. Området kan beskrives som en lille, ydmyg, alle kender alle, fiskerlandsby. Med tre-fire restauranter, kan man sige at mulighederne er overskuelige, men dertil skal skal nævnes, at hver enkelt restaurant har en stor lokal kundekreds - så Sicilien kryber ind både med mund, øjne og øre under disse middage. At lege en bil er det mest behagelige transportmiddel, og udflugter fra byen kommer ganske naturligt, da der ikke er mange seværdigheder i den lille fiskerby. Men det skal siges, at tog(et) også kan bruges til og fra Tusa. Stranden... Frisk vand, afslappet atmosfære, klipper og rigtig god stemning. Ligger 20 meter fra hotellets hoveddør, og besøges flittigt af lokale sicilianere. Til slut skal hotellets venlige, imødekommende og hjælpsomme medarbejdere nævnes. De forsøder opholdet på Atelier Sul Mare. Bonusinfo må være hotellets restaurant hvor morgenmadsbuffet serveres: grønne omgivelser, original indretning, klassisk musik, special brygget skøn kaffe og udsyn over bugten. Das Hotel bewirbt sich selbst als Kunsthotel, wenn man Kunst als Zusammenstellung aller moeglichen moderen und post moderenen Stilrichtungen im gleichen Raum versteht, ist es eine interessante Abwechslung. Die Lage ist aussergewoehnlich schoen in einer kleinen Bucht ohne Durchgangsverkehr, leider ist der Strand ein Steinstrand. Service freundlich und […] hilfsbereit. Das Hotelrestaurant, zwar ebenfalls direkt am Strand wunderschoen gelegen, sollte man besser meiden, ueberteuert fuer die gebotene Qualitaet. Continua a leggere

Nous sommes resté une nuit dans l'une des chambres d'artistes. Pas prévu au début mais on a eu une petite ristourne. C'est sympa comme tout, à faire au moins une fois. Sinon le personnel est très gentil et tout l’hôtel est dédie à l'art contemporain. C'est vraiment à voir.

What a charming hotel, placed in an isolated bay with hardly any tourists (my boyfriend and I were there for a week of relaxation end of May 2011). Crazy rooms and very friendly staff and the decor is soooo cooool. The restaurant on the beach right next to the hotel is perfect as well! - liegt perfekt in ruhigem Fischerort - ist dem Namen "Art" gerecht, d.h. das Hotel ist speziell schön artistisch eingerichtet, es gibt viele verschiedene Hotelzimmer, jedes ist individuell gestaltet und ein Erlebnis ist garantiert.
