Hotel valido, ma con qualche pecca. La foto che lo reclamizza, su tutti i siti, mette in primo piano la spiaggia con i lettini prendisole dell'hotel, evidentemente portati là per fotografare e poi riportati sulla striscia di sabbia di pertinenza, sopra una rampa di un 2-3-metri di pietre. La spiaggia fotografata è contigua ma non ha nessun tipo di attrezzatura, né ombrelloni né altro e non pare di pertinenza dell’hotel. Quanto al personale, contrariamente a quanto segnalato in altre recensioni, ho trovato solo gentilezza e disponibilità, sorrisi e premure. E’ vero che con alcuni c’è difficoltà a comunicare, perché parlano poco o niente di inglese, che è poi un....thai english, difficile da capire anche se lo parlano. Comunque, con un po’ di pazienza e cortesia – e un po’ di mimica - ci si capisce. Alla reception ho fatto presente che la stanza prenotata sarebbe stata per me un…calvario, avendo io qualche problema a salire rampe e gradini: le stanze sono tutte raggiungibili appunto con salite o scale ripide con gradini alte. Il receptionist mi ha proposto la camera praticamente sul mare, senza scale né salite. Ovviamente ho pagato l’upgrading (ne valeva la pena), che con una specie di trattativa fatta di battute e risate di due minuti, mi hanno spontaneamente ridotto del 20%. La nostra camera (n. 102), credo la migliore, era enorme, molto bella, con un bel letto king in stile Thai, e fornita di tutto (accappatoi, ciabattine, oggetti da bagno, bottiglie grandi di acqua, frigobar a prezzi normali, cassaforte, boiler per caffè e the, con molte bustine varie e nescafè), divano in vimini, molto bello, che faceva da separazione per un secondo letto, uguale all’altro, ma a una piazza e mezza (comunque non utilizzato). Il bagno era grandissimo, con la doccia a pavimento, inserita in una specie di montagnola con conchiglie applicate: a casa non la vorrei davvero, ma nel contesto era scenografica e divertente, ben distanziata dal wc e dal lavandino; le pareti tutte rivestite d

Il pernottamento è stato buono, i bungalow sono carini e puliti, aria condizionata e molte attività prenotabili al resort. Inoltre è posizionato vicinissimo all'imbarcadero per le altre isole, si arriva a piedi, 100 mt. circa.

Prima volta nel 2010 e ci siamo trovati benissimo,con trattamento b&b, colazione ottima e la sera lungo la spiaggia c'erano ottimi ristorantini a prezzi economici- 2° volta agosto 2011 sempre b&b, colazione meno curata e con carenze specialmente nell'assortimento della frutta e nei succhi, l'anno prima erano tutti freschi. Gli italiani presenti, con cena compresa, si sono tutti lamentati tanto che usavano il coupon per l'hamburger a pranzo e per la cena uscivano. Purtroppo i ristorantini sulla spiaggia sono spariti per lasciare il posto a trappole per turisti, dove il cibo lascia molto a desiderare e il prezzo non è basso.

L'hotel ci è piaciuto molto, è il posto ideale dove rilassarsi e non pensare a nulla, lasciarsi coccolare nella SPA oppure prendere il sole nella spiaggia privata o a bordo piscina. Sicuramente un posto per gli amanti della tranquillità, della riservatezza (spiaggia privata in cui ci sono in tutto forse 6 ombrelloni e 12 lettini), l'albergo consiste in diverse ville, di cui alcune con piscina privata, ed un palazzo con circa 30 camere, quindi è relativamente piccolo. Gli spazi comuni (ristorante, spiaggia, piscina, bar) sono invece molto ampi rispetto al totale delle persone che può ospitare l'hotel, e quindi si sta sempre molto tranquilli. La posizione è spettacolare, arroccato su un promontorio sulla baia, ed il servizio è ottimo.

"Expensive for the room received."
I do not think the room was worth the rate I paid at this hotel. It was nice, but for the cost, I would have expected a better/larger room. I thought that the Superior room would be better than the Deluxe room, but one of my friends had the Deluxe room and it was a much larger, better room.

As usual a most wonderful hotel, lovely to see that they are also enhancing the hotel and not resting on their laurels - looking forward to staying again soon
"Compulsory dinner"
The hotel ground and location at Chaveng Beach is very nice. The room was in good condition. I paid $755 for three persons for the New Years Eve Gala Dinner which included a show. I asked if the price included beverage and was told it was. It turned out that beverage was not included and so I wanted a refund. This was denied. The food was excellent […] but the show was not. Lovely hotel with great facilities. Excellent location for Chaweng Beach area. Hotel restaurant on the beachfront does a BBQ buffet evening which is definitely recommended.

I stayed at Chaweng Regent with my partner for 5 nights in a deluxe bungalow. It was located a couple steps from the garden pool which was great. Both the garden and beach pool are very clean as well in general the whole resort area is maintained quite well. All staff that we spoke to were very friendly and most of their english was ok, not the best, […] but if you speak clearly to them they can understand the jist of what you're saying. Our room was very nice and clean, the only negative was the bed, which is not very comfortable (it's quite hard) and the lighting switches/system is a bit confusing, but you get the hang of it. The resort's location is perfect, right at the start of all the restaurants and shops on chaweng road. Everything is walking distance. The resort also has 2 restaurants. Both are quite pricey compared to the outside street restaurants/pubs. But I do recommend either dining or sitting by the bar at the Red Snapper as the 3 musicians that play nightly are amazing. Great singing and music, very enjoyable. So overall our stay here was great. We enjoyed every moment and would definately stay again if we came back to Koh Samui. Continua a leggere

I recommended to my Canadian friends and met them there. Also they ware surprise at this accommodation. Sauna and massage are excellent. Nice people, nice place. Next year we are comming back! We visit ( four times before) Chaweng Rgent Beach Resort, all stays ware perfect and I dont like make swap to another accommodation. Sincerly yours, MALI
"Very close to airport"
This hotel is ok, but the airport is in the "backyard" so every hour you have a plane on your head. OK rooms but the toilets are old and need reperation. This hotel should cost half of what the are charging.....
if you happen to get one of the room on the right side of the property ,about 11pm the live band starts ,and its very hard to get some sleep.it should only be a 3 star hotel

"The Chaweng Regent Resort"
We had a great time at the Chaweng Regent Resort. The buffet breakfast was amazing and all the staff were a pleasure to be around. At night it was at times hard to sleep in the room with the fireworks, however this is no fault of the resort. Thank you for a great holiday, we will definitely recommend the Chaweng Resort to others.

I loved the Chaweng Regent Resort, it's got great rooms & pools & gym & fun activities to do. Buffet breakfast is great. Loved the serenity of the place with leafy greens & pools of beautiful coloured fish. The staff are hospitible & friendly & respectful. Will def stay there again, only complaint is the shower in my room, although as lovely as it is […] with the lovely scenery, is not designed properly, each time we used it, water would spray everywhere leaving puddles on the floor. "pretty cool place to stay"
right in the main drag of Chaweng beach...can walk to all the fun spots. great beach with the hotel. My biggest complaint, if i had to have one, is lack of free wi-fi, even in the lobby area. And they have a really complicated/expensive way of giving you internet access.

"Just ok"
I would not recommend this hotel especially for the price.The air conditional was blowing more humidity then cool air, the room limited you to 23C and although we had two people they only allowed one key. The room we booked was not ready when we arrived, which was at 5pm,, and although they upgraded us housekeeping was still in this room. Room service […] was very slow and had to be contacted several times for the same thing. The price of the room compared to other like properties was high. Very little or no hot water in the showers!
The hotel is in the heart of Chaweng beach so great if you want to go out in the evenings. The beach is beautiful and the hotel is situated right on the beach. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a 'deluxe' room b/c the hotel was not full. This was a welcomed surprise and our room had it's own hot tub. The spa is wonderful and all amenities were top-notch. […] I Would recommend staying here if you want to be in on the action, if you want to check out the bars/restaurants in the area. I was overwhelmed by the service and the beautiful hotel Regent Chaweng is. If you look for a hotel that has everything and a little bit moore, look no further. I already plan to travel next year, and would definetly stay at this hotel. Loved it!!!
"we wil be back"
We stayed at the hotel for 8 wonderful days. The location is perfect – right on the beach, as well as quick access to the main thoroughfare with restaurants and shops/markets. The beach is glorious and there are two beautiful pool options on the resort itself with magnificent grounds. There is a library next to the pool which is very useful for someone […] who reads copiously. We were met with the traditional wet towels and cold tea as described on TripAdvisor and were made welcome immediately. The premier rooms are stunning – spacious, and with a balcony facing the garden giving a private feeling. The bathroom was enormous with a large walk-in shower as well as a round spa bath. The rooms were cleaned very well and sprayed for insects every night. The hotel staff are amazing. On arrival we were told that renovations were taking place and we were given a voucher for 4,000 baht to use during our stay. We were originally located in a room right next to the renovations (stay away from 105). One afternoon the water had been turned off; and the corridor outside our room was filthy from workmen using it. After complaining to the reception, the water was turned on immediately and the following day we were re-located to another room and presented with a bottle of champagne and fruit. The renovations did not bother us at all after that. Don't have a massage at the hotel. There are massages on the beach every few meters and once you get used to lying next to others also having massages in full view of the beach public, you will get quickly accustomed to a daily massage. Breakfast provided a huge range of foods which would suit every diet. We were so full that for lunch we simply ordered the roasted corn cobs that were sold on the beach for 50 baht each. There are so many options for dinner but we preferred sitting on the beach where there are several restaurants offering fresh fish and seafood to BBQ on the spot. Very nice hotel. Great service and location. Rooms/ food/ drinks are a bit expensive. Dinner at the beach in the evenings was a good and romantic experience.

We were very happy with the front desk service.However the service around the pool was not great.we never got asked for drinks or food orders.The rooms and facilities were good apart from the shower which was over the bath in the corner you had to hand hold the rose.( bad positioning).The hotel was undergoing renovations.They compensated with vouchers […] & rates which was good.Need more cereal with fibre at breakfast.Apart from these small items I would happily stay again. Bugalowssa oleskelutila, makuhuone ja iso kylpyhuone. Kaksi tv:tä. Edellisen kerran olimme deluxe huoneessa, joka oli myös ok. Hotellialue iso ja siisti. Kaksi uima-allasta ja […] oma ranta-alue, ilmaiset rantatuolit. Ei aallokkoa. Palvelut lähellä (kauput, ravintolat jne.). Hotellin toinen pää rannalla ja toinen pääkadulla. Iso alue. Lähellä lentokenttää ja siksi lentojen melu kuuluu tosi kovaa. Aamupala hyvä ja monipuolinen. Henikökunta ystävällinen. Kuntosali iso, monipuolinen laitevalikoima. Huonopuoli maksullinen internet. Et nydlig hotell med den desidert beste beliggenhet i chaweng. Når du booker rom kan du være obs på at superior og delux rom ikke er bungalower slik teksten kan antyde. Det er mer blokk aktig med leigheter oppe og nede. Ikke noe og si på de heller, men vil du ha en egen bungalow må du oppgradere enten til spa villa suite eller royal suite. Vi oppgraderte […] oss til royal suite. de har den desiderte beste beliggenhet helt ved stranden. Vi hadde booket superior bungalow som vi hadde sett for oss var en egen bungalow som i navnet. ble derfor litt skuffet når vi kom. Men hotellet var mer en behjelpelig med å hjelpe oss med å oppgradere. Prisen var dessuten ikke så verst den heller. 2 gode resturanter på hotellet. En ved stranden der de lager til en koselig resturant hvor dere kan spise god mat og drikke god vin. stenger litt tidlig. er det enste minuset jeg kan komme på her. eller upåklagelig service og mat. Kan virkelig anbefale en romantisk middag på stranden. Da lager de et eget telt til deg og din kjære, serverer dere 6 retters meny og du får velgen om du vil ha en muserende vin eller en vit vin til. Egen kelner som forklarte hva vi fikk servert og sørget alltid for at det var noe i glasset :) Koster nesten ikke noe heller :) Red snapper resturant ligger oppe ved hovedgaten. utrolig god mat og upåklagelig service der også men litt støy fra hovedgaten. fikk vell servert den beste deserten jeg noen gang kommer til å få. Her jobbet det virkelig kokker som kunne faget sitt. Bartenderne laget de fantstiske drinker etter mat. Kan virkelig anbefale dette hotell vis dere skal bo i chaweng. Continua a leggere

Отель замечательный. Но ест номера старые и не отремонтированные. Около них расположены внешние блоки кодиционеров. Шумно и абсолютно некрасивые номера, которые недостойны даже четырех звезд. Так что выбираю номер будьте бдительны не берите бунгало.

ホテルの設備は、大満足です！ 朝食もビュッフェで種類も豊富、部屋も広い！ホテルの人も親切！ だけど、水周りのよごれが気になったくらいです。 wi-fiを無料じゃなかったのが残念。。。
Achterstallig onderhoud in het gehele complex en kamer was niet schoon. Ook na klacht bleef de kamer stoffig en badkamer vies. Ontbijt is goed, personeel is vriendelijk, maar in vergelijk met andere vergelijkbare hotels in Thailand, minder attent.
"Hyggeligt velholdt resort med god service"
Nød opholdet med god service og beliggenhed, dog var bade forholdene ikke de bedste, man skulle gå nogle hundrede meter langs stranden for at komme hen til det gode åbne badested. Den bungalow var måske ikke den største. Til prisen kunne man have ønsket noget større. Resortet har en hyggelig velplejet have og ligger centralt, en rigtig god morgenmads […] buffet, så alt i alt kan resortet varmt anbefales. Continua a leggere

Stayed on a SPA villa and the service was very good. I stayed in several other hotels in the area and beach is the most clean area. Near to the best bars and clubs. Very quiet although near to center. Internet was not free although its a 4 star hotell. I was asked to buy a voucher for 700 baht. Very expensive. Nice food on the restaurant. Hotel-Resort ist schön im grünen tropischen Flair angelegt mit freundlichem Personal. Das "Frühstücks-Restaurant(sowie auch Abends) liegt direkt am Strand, aber daher Abends meistens stark windig(so auf jeden fall im Monat November). Die zwei untersten Zimmer Kat. eher sehr schlicht eingerichtet und nicht sehr geräumig. Wir bekamen wegen mehrerer Probleme […] dort ein "FREE UPGRADE" in Deluxe Kat. und das war dann sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet mit sep. Toilette und sep. We had pre booked 2 nights but ended up staying 8 nights! The beach location, service, breakfast and accomondation was top class. I highly recommend it to everyone maybe with an exception for familys with young kids since there were no children clubs - more suitable for couples and familys with older children.

Nous sommes partis à 3 personnes du 24/03 au 31/03.Très bel hotel, très bruyant à cause des feux d'artifices qui avaient lieux tous les soirs jusqu'à 3h du matin. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres: 1 deluxe rien à redire sauf peut-être la vue du balcon sur 1 mur et 1 chambre supérieur et là déception le carrelage de la salle de bain était en grande partie […] moisie, deplus la seule différence entre les 2 chambres mise à part le prix la chambre deluxe possédait 1 chambre en dessous et la chambre supérieur 1 chambre à côté avec une porte de communication et 1 en dessous.
