"Anniversary"

"Great Experience!"
The valet, staff and rooms were great! Staff and valet were friendly, rooms were clean and beds were extremely comfy! I did have an issue with my valet charge. Dissatisfied with booking. Booked room with 2 queen beds for 4 people and was given a room with 1 king bed for 4 people. Not exactly a comfortable accommodating stay. 1 person had to sleep in the floor.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Automatic Wireless Fee"
The only negative was the "automatic" $15 fee for wireless access. The minute you get into the room, your phone will connect to the Marriott's wireless system and you incur the charge. You do not even have 30 seconds to turn off the wireless on your phone before that fee in added to your bill. "Nice hotel"
Our stay was fine. We requested a one king bed and we were given two double beds. My wife was disappointed. The sports bar in the lobby was hopping but the service was just ok. Great night life about two blocks away. All in all I would rate this 4 out of 5.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
"Great Location... expensive parking"
Hotel and location was overall great, but as much as we spent on the room, you would think they would throw parking in there for free. However, if we would have stayed elsewhere, we probably would have spent more on cab fares than what it cost us to park in their garage. "Clean, classy and close"
Close to the Kentucky International Convention Center, first class customer service and a clean newly-decorated room...what more could I ask? I am very picky and the only flaw I could find in the entire room was a small area (less than 1") of peeled paint in one corner of the shower. "Clean, friendly, and central."
The room, hallways, elevators, and lobby were all very clean. The pool was spacious, though I was surprised at the limit of five people at a time for the pool as well as the hot tub. I was also surprised at the relatively slick polished steel floor and sides of the pool. Well, the pool was never crowded! I was also surprised at the charge of $4 or $7 […] for even one bottle of water in the room. The service by all was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the free Louisville Courier and free Wall Street Journal - these were bonuses. The garage under the building was intimidating at first, but once I figured it out, it was very logical and easy to navigate. "Sleepless Night"
For the cost,,,Expected to get a goodnights sleep.Concert in town..kids in next room ran up and down hallway all night knocking on doors.Could never reach front desk.Elderly couple across hall threatened to call police.It is a big hotel,but the Hampton is just as nice and the staff will treat you better.So needless to say we checked out at 8:30 am and […] the only staff member that was nice to us was the elderly man in the parking garage.Don't waste your money folks. Awesome hotel. We have accidently got transferred to the Marriot by a competitor who screwed up our reservations and glad they did! We have stayed there 3x and each time was delightful. "Excessive charge for parking"
We paid $21 per day for parking. Aside from the fact that this is excessive, it was not advertised by Expedia, instead our itinerary stated that the total cost included all fees except "service fees" which might be charged by the hotel (e.g., mini bar was mentioned but not parking). The free WiFi required that we sign up and give a credit card number […] at $29.95 per day per phone. Hotel staff assured me that the charge would show as all zeroes on the bill but we didn't want to take that chance. We received free breakfast with our room and the food was outstanding; however, hotel staff generated a bill for the restaurant charges and we had to tell them that our breakfast was comped. We had an overall great experience at the Louisville Downtown Marriott. The staff were friendly and efficient and our room was very comfortable. I would have like to have had a mini-fridge or at least a mini-bar in the room.
